When staying in London for the Queen's funeral, Trudeau stayed at a $6000/night suite despite other more reasonable Luxury hotels where available. ( TRUE SOCIALISM ) This is all at a time when Canadian tax payers are seeing the devastating results of the Trudeau economy.

I say people who migrate here legally should get housing and free stuff at first to get them started - but - people who come here illegally should be subject to extremely harsh punishments - up to and including chain gang, hard labor on a prison island somewhere. And if their home country doesn't want them back - they might be stuck on the island a long time. \nDO THAT - and you will change people's calculation about coming here illegally. And you still get your good immigrants.

There are limits to everything, including compassion. When it starts to be abused, the limit arrives and it is time to put a stop to it.

The border is not fully accessible. You must know that there are wetlands, bogs and other traps on the way that is in the summer and in the winter many endup in frozen lakes or freeze because you cannot be outside in -30 c for a long time even in your good winter jacket so ...highly NOT recommended for your life ...

Quite some time ago I read about migrants coming across the northern border.

Everyone knows the Northern border is open. Hell all you got to do is ask anyone who works for any of the environmental fish and game officers who work along any of the border states and they will tell you the border is open as they often catch Canadian poachers illegally hunting here in the U.S. all the time. The Canadian coast guard often hassles fishermen on the St. Lawrence seaway.

I have to go to NYC for work and my company is making me take an online safety course due to the high crime environment. First time I have ever had to do that.

Perhaps its time for us to speak up and get the media to listen to employees instead of the ultra-wealthy so we can become efficient and well rested like many European labor forces, and not become the next Japan which seems to ignore employee needs.\n\nLet's give workers 5 or so weeks of actual time off as in Europe to prevent chronic burnout so we can keep up their productivity. Lets stimulate domestic tourism through this actual time off and revitalize rural Canada, creating business opportunities and jobs. Lets let our newly refreshed and productive workforce create world class companies like in Germany. \n\nAll it requires is we treat employees whether local or newcomer with respect, that labor organizations and companies cooperate to prevent burnout, and we have strong labor laws to prevent abuse by bad employers so employees can have enough time for friends, family, and things they like to do. This sounds easy, so lets fix this productivity crisis.\n\nJust my opinion.

At-will employment where the employer can terminate an employee for any reason at any time works in the US where jobs are abundant, salaries are high and living costs are low but it should be a criminal offense in Canada where good jobs are already so difficult to find and living costs are so high. If Canadians think an employer is within his rights to terminate an employee because of frivolous reasons, they should be okay if a God sent the entire Western civilization to eternal hell for frivolous reasons as well.

Bachare stayed there for 90 mins approx to see a junior dr in emergency. \nOne another time myself got ear pain around 1 am . Called to see where I can see a Dr. They said to go somewhere 20 km away. Health care in Canada is free which is better than the states but the wait times are atrocious and the system is overcrowded here with not enough health care providers

I left Canada a long time ago, not out of any ideological reason, but for a job opportunity. It wasn't until I was outside looking in that I realized how controlled Canada is by monopolies, oligarchies and families. I'm shocked when I go back at the fees Canadians pay for connectivity, banking, food, alcohol...and the list goes on. I never understood why Canadians put up with it.
