I agree with most of the information in this video. I lived in Canada from 2015-2021. When i used to attend college, parking lot always smelled like weed. People were always lined up at the “recreation drugstore” even in excruciating cold. Also, the job market is bad, most of the employers are racist. Permanent residency is very hard to get. Free health care is actually not free. It is deducted from your every single pay checks. If you had any emergencies, be ready to wait for more than 10+ hours; sometimes more than that. I remember when back in 2015, prime minister justin, got more than 5 thousand Syrian refugees, and people were complaining that they are currently facing job shortages, housing issues and many other things but their needs were completely ignored. I recently visited Canada, and it’s getting worse now, lots of traffic, crime and homeless people. I would still recommend if you want to go and get educated because the education system is good. But if your goal is only for settlement then i would suggest to apply for permanent residence first.

I usually like videos from this channel. But i disagree with this analysis. I believe any country can't be either good or bad. Instead of blaming other countries, first fix issues in your home country. India should devoid universities of caste , creed, etc, and only on the basis of merits. Improve the infrastructure of metropolitan cities in india. Mumbai can't be even compared to Toronto. This election has shown that people in India don't have a vision. They almost booed Modis policies. The likes of Amrit pal singh , Mahua Moitra came into power again. So why to blame others !

Immigration is doing more harm then good and I hate throwing them to the wolves, but I cannot STAND the look on my mom's face because we cannot afford a permanent home. We are a nuclear 4 person family and doing OUR BEST, it's insane we built our lives here, I was fucking born here, and we've gotten our rent raised higher then homes costed a decade ago. \nWhen all this population growth imposes on MY quality of life, bet your fucking ass I'm bitter. I wouldn't have as many qualms if we could house Canadians AND immigrants but it's evident we can't!\nAnd!!!!! Call me fucking racist if you must, but immigrants, INDIANS, have a lack of respect for Canadian culture and Canadians in general! And it gets under my skin when they ignore our national anthem and land acknowledgments. Why live in a country and not, acclimate to the culture! You live here now! I have been in Canada for past 10 years. Life have changed a lot since then. Standard of living has come down. Rent and mortgages increased. Job lay offs. Higher grocery rates and everything have gone up. It’s so hard to survive here. I had a severe sprain in my knee and I could not walk at all. I got MRI appointment 1 year after I went to doctor. This was the worst thing I experienced. My daughter was born very micro premature, doctors took good care of her and she survived here in Canada. We paid 0 dollars. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. I have seen best and worst. So I’m neutral here. But I strongly suggest students not to come to Canada at this moment. This country does not have enough jobs, no proper education, no standard of living now

Don't generalize things..there are good things and bad everywhere. Canada has problems and they have grown over the years but it is still the most friendly place to live. If you are well educated and getting a job offer,take it. It's a big beautiful country to explore if you are an outdoor person. Don't believe everything on the internet.

This video does a good job of giving an idea of problems in Canada for immigrants especially students. Thanks folks for your effort. Many people who came in last 5 years to study find it very difficult to get a good paying job and some have even gone back to India after burning around 50 to 75 thousand dollars for a 2 year masters degree.

I dont think law abiding citizens are a threat to any country. If someone works hard, pay taxes, abides by the law then they are good to live in any part of the world.

Well researched video and absolutely true. I would also add that canada is housing casino for foreign investors with money into Canadian real estate to clean their money while making huge profits running arbnb business, room rentals, flipping homes, having multiple home while not even Canadian citizen or barely living in Canada. Billions of dollars laundered money have been pumped into Canadian real estate fron abraod especially in past 15 years through casinos and other loop holes. Government is corrupt and is fully aware of it but tries to play blind because who can win against real estate mafia? Making fool if people with demand and supply which actually well engineered by the government. Simple fact- with insane mass immigration supply can never be enough and housing can never be affordable. So Canada is a big real estate casino facilitated by the government as they have minimum sources to increase GDP being a consumer society where goods are imported. Same way people are imported to keep running the economic machine as people are considered as asset to generate taxes. More people, more transactions, more tax collection. It is not a self sustainable country as there is no atmosphere for organic growth. \nWealthy Canadian are cashing the assets and moving to other countries like Mexico etc

Only the interest rates are to be blamed. \nPreviously the people used to get home loans for about 2% (before 2019) but now it's 6.2% or so which is a significant rise. \nInflation isn't getting under control. \n\nHowever, I have been blessed as I am a PR and have a good job. It's understandable that 15 years ago people wanted to immigrate for a better life. But not anymore. There are some exceptions though. If one is seeking a specialization like a PhD. Unfortunately India is still not great at research. For everything else India is pretty good today. There is no compelling reason to emigrate. By 2030 if India's GDP hits 10 Trillion and the wealth is more evenly distributed then it will make no sense whatsoever.

A lot of Indian students plan to study abroad (specially Germany, USA, UK, Australia etc.). I think this can be turned into a series of its own where our students get to know what's good and a potential cause of concern in each such country. Hope to see more such videos. Keep up the good work.

Not all videos should be just based on news.\nIf those students start working as a plumber or a construction worker, they would be highly paid be respected too. It requires less investment and guaranteed job. All you need in your life is money and respect and you can get in in Canada. \nOfcourse there are flaws too but which country is perfect? But for those earning meager money in India even after years of working, Canada is much better. Even for those who cannot crack good colleges should come to Canada. What is the point of spending heft fees without a job. Almost all the student in Canada must have recovered their fees by doing uber deliveries and working in restaurants. So stop make videos on topic that are trending.

This video is exclusively for students and people who are going without any research. I was on temp visa and got PR in a year. Dru*s is a problem every big city in US too. Would you say the same for US too ? Yes, Canada isn't able to take load of more people and policies aren't evolving but showing the videos of particular places and calling the whole country horrible, is same as showing population and poverty problems in india calling it poor country. Healthcare is problematic because there are not many people qualified to do jobs. In the end. if you hate struggle, tough life, foreign countries are no place cos you are starting from zero. Leaving comfort zone and moving out is always challenging. Those who moved out earned good money and came back to India are happier now cos they have the money to function in india and international exposure. It depends where you are in life now and what you are leaving behind. Indian universities are great, and studies are top-notch. However unemployment is still big issue. Do your research, evaluate your options and take a call. And if it didn't work out you can always go back.

The more I watch this video I feel how ridiculously wrong this video is!! Housing is not that unaffordable in Canada. That is not ground reality again. This video is not at all well-researched. I see such propaganda against Canada in this video! I have seen multitude amount of Indians coming in the past 5years and living a very good life. They touch education and talk about the high quality education but do not expand - education is really top notch here. And intense drug problem is in India too! I do agree Canada is not perfect anymore but it is not unliveable!! Also only 10% of population able to take mortgage is very very wrong and false information. Indians and non-Indians have been moving in droves from USA as they cannot afford houses in US but can easily in Canada. Canada is just same like other countries if you have enough skills you get a nice job infact they need skilled worker. And people are really good. In certain area there is hate not without reason. Canada is the most beautiful country in the world that’s its usp , again we Indians can learn something from Canada is the way they preserved their nature that is remarkable that gives them good oxygen rich air , water and hygiene that Indian people are far away or never witnessed in their life. We don’t have any greenery in our country we really need to work on improving that but neither the people nor the government is interested in making good changes or even have such idea in head ! Along with that Canada has strong tax system you really get tax return as well as strong labour protection act that guards its resident from exploitation and employees can sue the employer if exploitation is provable on table with facts. India doesn’t have any strong labour protection body this results even in corporate jobs you have to work more than 8 hours and no OT , plus Canada has EI (employment insurance) so that means is , if you loose your job for any reason you will get government assistance to help to pay your bills till you find your next job. Plus disability benefits , food banks , freedom to live your life the way you want, you can eat what you want, religion based stupidity doesn’t exist in that country. So yes it’s true I don’t like the Canadian PM either but overall Canada is really good country and we Indians can learn atleast some good things they carry and adapt to our country and make India bit better place to live. The moment some says truth we Indians start bashing and may say go to Canada but we don’t realize our own problems and don’t wanna work.

In Canada for the past 3 yrs, Completely agree. Canada and west is not what is propagated , it has its positives but India has its negatives but when you look at all things in a wholesome perspective then west nations are only for specific purposes. To live a normal good life nothing beats India. Many people can’t return as they have spent huge sums of money and can’t afford to return back.

Oh wondering why. LIB/NDP lack of management of Canada Corp. Simple. Eliminate the problem and solve the problem. Stop electing those who caused the problem to spend more and more tax dollars to solve the problem they created. This applies across the globe. We hear the same election campaigns over and over. If we elected good leaders we wouldn't always be having to spend more and fix things like healthcare, education, welfare etc. Decades of elected governments and still not fixed. Two years in a private industry you are fired or company is bankrupt.

I am proud and grateful Newfoundlander and I am currently living within a main city in Canada for work and I have never been so sick to the state of the country I used to believe was good.\n\nNow I am nothing but a pure anti-immigration person at the sight of a society and culture built here in Canada being destroyed by unregulated immigration and destruction of the way of life.\n\nNewfoundland deserves its independence from this country as it deserved when we voted for our independence in 1949. Good they added way too many immigrants. My rent went way too high because they didnt build homes fast enough for the demand. Rent went from 800 a month 5 years ago to 2400 a month. X3 in 5 years
