Don't generalize things..there are good things and bad everywhere. Canada has problems and they have grown over the years but it is still the most friendly place to live. If you are well educated and getting a job offer,take it. It's a big beautiful country to explore if you are an outdoor person. Don't believe everything on the internet.

This video does a good job of giving an idea of problems in Canada for immigrants especially students. Thanks folks for your effort. Many people who came in last 5 years to study find it very difficult to get a good paying job and some have even gone back to India after burning around 50 to 75 thousand dollars for a 2 year masters degree.

Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place—jobs, healthcare, housing—to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.\n\nCanada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system—it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.\n\nWe see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

Dear Abhi, I am canadian PR. I attest to the facts presented in this video. Students are suffering and it feels bad to see and witness their ordeal. Healthcare is so bad that I have stories of surgery done wrong and person almost died. Colossal level of mis-management is going on in this country. I am professional and at executive level in corporation, still half the time in a year I struggle to keep up with expenses. I am re-considering my decision to stay in this country. If some student is reading this please think 100 times before you come to Canada.

Well researched video and absolutely true. I would also add that canada is housing casino for foreign investors with money into Canadian real estate to clean their money while making huge profits running arbnb business, room rentals, flipping homes, having multiple home while not even Canadian citizen or barely living in Canada. Billions of dollars laundered money have been pumped into Canadian real estate fron abraod especially in past 15 years through casinos and other loop holes. Government is corrupt and is fully aware of it but tries to play blind because who can win against real estate mafia? Making fool if people with demand and supply which actually well engineered by the government. Simple fact- with insane mass immigration supply can never be enough and housing can never be affordable. So Canada is a big real estate casino facilitated by the government as they have minimum sources to increase GDP being a consumer society where goods are imported. Same way people are imported to keep running the economic machine as people are considered as asset to generate taxes. More people, more transactions, more tax collection. It is not a self sustainable country as there is no atmosphere for organic growth. \nWealthy Canadian are cashing the assets and moving to other countries like Mexico etc

I am in my 50’s, make $120k a year, owe about half that, rented, was just evicted when it doubled, am living in my car. If I disappear you’ll know why. But no one will notice because every fast food restaurant, every grocery store, every gas station, every townhouse, new condo, duplex and single family home is now owned by Indians, Muslims and Asians. I am a 4th generation white Canadian. We will all be living in tent cities soon. Trudeau destroyed our country. Destroyed.

It's understandable that 15 years ago people wanted to immigrate for a better life. But not anymore. There are some exceptions though. If one is seeking a specialization like a PhD. Unfortunately India is still not great at research. For everything else India is pretty good today. There is no compelling reason to emigrate. By 2030 if India's GDP hits 10 Trillion and the wealth is more evenly distributed then it will make no sense whatsoever.

Not all videos should be just based on news.\nIf those students start working as a plumber or a construction worker, they would be highly paid be respected too. It requires less investment and guaranteed job. All you need in your life is money and respect and you can get in in Canada. \nOfcourse there are flaws too but which country is perfect? But for those earning meager money in India even after years of working, Canada is much better. Even for those who cannot crack good colleges should come to Canada. What is the point of spending heft fees without a job. Almost all the student in Canada must have recovered their fees by doing uber deliveries and working in restaurants. I know were all talking about the popular cities and popular states but from a state thats frequently overlooked Alaska is a different deal than 90% of the US. People leave thier cars running, doors unlocked, kids playing unsupervised, all without fear of something happening. Granted there has been an upswing in crime as the economy of the US has gotten worse but in the 30 years of being here my car has only been broken in to 1 time and nothing was damaged and only a couple things were missing

Last year I got admitted to Uni of Waterloo(one of the top institutions of canada). Decided not to go considering all the factors mentioned in this video.

This video is exclusively for students and people who are going without any research. I was on temp visa and got PR in a year. Dru*s is a problem every big city in US too. Would you say the same for US too ? Yes, Canada isn't able to take load of more people and policies aren't evolving but showing the videos of particular places and calling the whole country horrible, is same as showing population and poverty problems in india calling it poor country. Healthcare is problematic because there are not many people qualified to do jobs. In the end. if you hate struggle, tough life, foreign countries are no place cos you are starting from zero. Leaving comfort zone and moving out is always challenging. Those who moved out earned good money and came back to India are happier now cos they have the money to function in india and international exposure. It depends where you are in life now and what you are leaving behind. Indian universities are great, and studies are top-notch. However unemployment is still big issue. Do your research, evaluate your options and take a call. And if it didn't work out you can always go back.

Most of the people commenting on Canada can't even imagine the quality of life. Even if you're Ambani, you'll still have to deal with pollution and dirt all over the place. Due to the influx of immigrants and recently poor governance of the country, it has slumped. Drugs and homelessness has increased but I've been settled here since the past two years and have had a considerable amount of work life balance and financial stability compared to back home. I did work for close to a decade in India yet could not accomplish what I did in 2 years here. Every country has it's pro's and cons and when it comes to healthcare yes it is sad but will be improved over time. If India was so great why are we taxed beyond question and not allowed to enjoy proper infrastructure and employment opportunities. Canadians are tired of our protests and whining for PR. People with no skills back home, can't land a job anywhere else. Period.

I live in Canada for 5 years now, Health Care is free but halat kharaab hai. Doctor recommends blood test and then I had to wait for 30 days. MRI ka to wait time 6 months hai.

It's been 6+ years in canada , canada is no longer an immigrant country, has high food prices , has no jobs for freshers, has very high rental , has high car insurance, failed the medical system. I'm planning to move india soon. If you do not want to waste your 6 years like me to realize, stay back home. I'm proud, indian.with that mindset, sometime you have to face racism too.

Oh wondering why. LIB/NDP lack of management of Canada Corp. Simple. Eliminate the problem and solve the problem. This shit is ridiculous, I’ve seen it in real time 90 min outside of Toronto, living in a quiet city as 5 years ago. Now there are traffic jams from 2 pm until 7 pm in the city, and endless traffic when driving 30 km in any direction on the highways. A few weeks ago it took me 5 hours to drive 75 miles. Every single gig economy job is bursting at the seems with people who are useless for any other kinds of work. The scariest thing is no one is going to have the balls to send people back to where they came from. Especially the conservative party. They will bend over faster than a one legged whore when it comes time to do their overlords biddings.

As someone living in Canada it's been crazy the boom of indian people. I live in a highly desired immigration location and it's rare to go to a fast food place and it isn't just full of only indian workers. Additionally, I walk to work for less than 10 mins, and I pass 4-5 houses just packed with young indian men packed into a house together, like 6-8 people. \nDespite all this huge number of indian immigrants I have no indian friends, because they don't integrate at all, they stay completely insulated in groups of other indians, often speaking to eachiother in their native language rather than bothering to learn the national languages of canada either english or french. We've immigrated like 5-10 years worth of immigrants in just 1-2 years. It's unsustainable and insane. we don't have the structure to support this population.\n\nIt's modern colonization. Plain and simple.

Keep in mind that I speak English and French and my ethnicity is Caucasian.\n\nStill my experience has been very difficult and I am deeply disappointed.\n\nMany other nations are better choices.\n\nThe USA ?? primarily comes to mind. I lived in the US for most of my life. What’s amazing to me is an apartment that cost 500 dollars to rent only 20 years now costs 2000 or more dollars. The very same apartment no major changes or renovations just the ability of the owners and landlords to up the rent. In fact many apartments now sit empty in many major cities because no one can afford to pay that much for a shoe box size space.
