What Trudeau doesn't understand.. 90% of Indian students and labor force work on cash jobs. Including Tim Hortons ?
2024-08-28 0
This protest won’t help the current students but it will help the Indians to understand that they should go with Australia or other country now…

Student visa is a temporary visa ..... it not the canadian citizen problem that indian student can not understand their visa condition. There is a reason why there is english requirement to be accepted into school in canada.. everything is in your visa condition read it and understand it!!!

It would be better if they were allowed to work 20 hours per week like in the past. So, the local Canadians studying here are not getting the total forty hours job, rents increased abruptly, and wage rates went down because the students are working with minimum wage and getting the total forty hours. So, where would Canadian adults go for a job and housing? It is also not fair for students to work with low pay. Everything takes time to go gradually and ethically. Please, try to understand Trudeau’s points too.

Never mind they get spots in our schools at the expense of young Canadians who have to wait for seats in colleges and Uni’s.And since when do foreign students have a right to stay where they studied . Most Canadians I know who studied abroad were to come back home after graduation. I understand they may have been lied to but Canadian citizens are already having a hard time and these students are taking away jobs from our young Canadians ! Coffee shops have up to 80 percent of their employees are foreign while Canadians are homeless, jobless and houseless ! Why should Canada welcome foreign graduates when no other country in the world would settle for that ! It is just insulting and disgusting ! Go home and make it better for you at your home ! Can’t recount the stories I heard of Canadian students put on wait lists cause the foreign students had priority ! Just disgusting !

I don't think we can keep this many newcomers happy. It's overwhelming. I understand how they are drawn to work here, as they can return home after a few years and live extremely well from the exchange. Most Indians earn maybe $10 a day in India. Just a guess.

Regarding Canadian Gun Control, a few clarifications, just to show the difference with the US and how Canadian gun owners are some of the safest and law-abiding people:\n1. All licensed Canadian gun owners go through a rigorous vetting process before being granted, with references and even the consent of their conjugal partner. They take safety courses and they have to pass the tests at over 90% score\n2. All licensed Canadian gun owners get their background checks done every 24 hours. Every single day. More than criminals.\n3. Licensed Canadian gun owners can own semi-automatic firearms with magazine capacities of 5 or 10, depending on the type, and they use them safely every day for hunting and sporting purposes. So no, not ALL semi-automatic rifles are banned. Same thing with shotguns. \n4. Non-semi automatic rifles and shotguns have no magazine capacity limits.\n5. There is an urban vs. rural misconception among Canadians. Those who live in the big cities do not understand the reasons to own guns, while generally those who live in the country and isolated areas have many reasons to own guns, such as hunting, pest control and predator defence.\n6. Canadian gun owners do not have the right to carry handguns in public. They can only be taken to the range and then back home. They have to be unloaded and locked the whole time. You can only load at the range.\n7. Canadian gun owners do not have the right to carry rifles and shotguns either, the same way as in the US. When transported, they need to be unloaded, locked and hidden from sight in your car at all times. \n8. Finally, fully-automatic/assault rifles have been banned in Canada since 1977. \n\n\nHaving put this case aside, the majority of gun crimes happening in Canada come from illegal guns smuggled from the United States, not by law-abiding licensed Canadian gun owners. \nHopefully this will help understand the difference in culture between the two countries.

Hello Alina,\nHow are you? I just arrived in Vancouver, and I've decided to live here now. I'm from Brazil, by the way. I can understand your feelings because I've visited twice in the last 10 years and can assure you of the changes you are talking about. It's a pity. Let's pray for the better, right? Thanks for sharing.

They came here as students with the understanding that they would go back to the countries they came from. So what’s the fuss for??? Go home!!!
2024-08-28 0
go back to France it’s not like you’re going to India. I completely understand why the Indian students are complaining. Nobody wants to go to India and go back to France. We don’t want you here.

I don’t understand it. It’s not perfect but I find basic functionality of the country better for me than for example California. California was so expensive and spent too much life in traffic. Munich is a lovely city it would be better if just more friendly.

The issue of illegal immigration is a complex and sensitive topic that affects many countries, including India. The presence of undocumented immigrants can put a strain on resources, infrastructure, and national security. In the case of India, the influx of Bangladeshi and Rohingya immigrants has raised concerns among citizens and policymakers alike.\n\nAccording to estimates, there are over 2.5 crore Bangladeshi infiltrators in India, in addition to some Pakistani intruders. This has led to calls for stricter border control and deportation of those who have entered the country illegally.\n\nHowever, it's important to approach this issue with nuance and consideration for human rights. Deportation can be a traumatic experience, especially for those who have built lives and families in their host country. Additionally, many immigrants are fleeing violence, persecution, or poverty in their home countries and deserve compassion and understanding.\n\nTo address this issue effectively, India can consider the following measures:\n\n1. Strengthen border security to prevent further infiltration.\n2. Implement a fair and efficient process for identifying and deporting undocumented immigrants.\n3. Provide support and resources for immigrants who are willing to integrate into Indian society.\n4. Engage in diplomatic efforts with neighboring countries to address the root causes of migration.\n5. Ensure that human rights are respected and protected throughout the process.\n\nBy taking a comprehensive and humane approach, India can address the challenges posed by illegal immigration while also upholding its values of compassion and inclusivity.

One thing students should understand is that a foreign government is not going to worry about what loan you have secured from your home country,

Let them hire local Khalistani talent. Take your skills and future tax payer status to other countries who truly need you. Leaders like Trump understand what is the right kind of immigrants help the country. Canada will soon go the UK way when Khalistanis will ask for separate region.

This decision came after Trudeau went through a Tim Hortons drive through & couldn’t understand the employee

Can't these students understand that they aren't citizen of the country?
2024-08-28 1
Why are foreign students protesting in Canada about their immigration laws? Don't the students understand that it is Canada's sovereign right to change its immigration policy? And students have gone there to study. Not migrate.

Canada, UK, US and Australia are racist countries that doesn't understand the benefits of having Indian students and workers. They see their classrooms and work place full of Indian faces and then they felt threathened. Bharats are the most hard working and peaceful people on the earth

I understand you as a foreigner need to learn the language of the country in which you reside in, but I still find it really strange that A LOT of Immigration Offices are for the most part german-only and some advise you to bring a translator.\n\nI mean if there's anywhere that needs people who can speak english, the immigration office would be the obvious choice.

Ya know India is a very peaceful country, we look foreward to working with you in the future , but Canada does need to calibrate itself.... your coverage seems very understanding

Stop hiring only Indians and telling Canadians that Canadians are not allowed to get jobs in their own country and telling Canadians that Canadians are not a good fit for the Indian Culture. That is creating hatred towards Indians. Stop firing the white people that brought you to Canada and gave you a job. This is racism. Any Indian that fires all races and hires only Indian has no place in Canada. Canada is a multi cultural country. Any one that is not multicultural has no place in Canada and needs to go back to their racist countries and has no place in Canada. Thank you for speaking English in this video and respecting all Canadians in your videos you deserve respect from all Canadians. All Canadians can understand you now. Thank You.

It is simply common sense to understand the current situation in Canada, which is clearly out of the control of Canadian immigration system. \nThere have been so many problems in Canada since 2015. Canadians and young Canadians have to suffer in silence without adequate jobs, income, housing, healthcare, and education... due to an overpopulation of unnecessary mass immigrants that exceeds the capacity. \nThe current situation is impacting everyone's peaceful lives and the future of our country. All JT government and politicians' fault.

hey. i used to not have an issue with indians. BUT holy shit. your values, the way you do business, the way you treat Canadians. your people are behind most of the scams. indians are getting too comfortable. sorry but yeah, don’t come here. it’s time to head home. or assimilate. understand how we do things in canada and make some adjustments.
2024-08-27 0
THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE MY FRIEND! AS YOU KNOW, taxes are high in ?? Canada ?! People born here only see 74% of their pay ? and then they pay high tax on everything they buy! They do not need STIFF JOB COMPETITION TOO! That is MAKING THINGS WORSE! You already have a COUNTRY TO LIVE! CITIZENS IN THIS COUNTRY ARE BEING ACCOMMODATED LAST! Immigrant first and a lot of corruption by the government on this issue! IT SHOULDNT BE HAPPENING!!! So it is not that the people of Canada hate Indian citizens, THAT STATEMENT IS NOT RIGHT! You need to understand what is happening to the indigenous people here BEFORE YOU THINK YOU ARE ENTITLED TO ANYTHING

So I understand why Canadians feel they way they do. Especially the ones born and raised here. I'm 31, was born here, and I often feel the same way everyone else does. The only problem that I see is that the issues that are in Canada are also in every other Western country. I'm concerned with the future, but I also know that throughout every generation, there are ups and downs. I'm willing to stick it out. I live outside of Toronto,I love the lack of natural disasters and access to water, and I still feel very safe. Although crime is up, it is nothing compared to the U.S. \n\nI'm actually living quite comfortably. Although my costs have gone up, I have made smart decisions in my life that allow me to live well. I own my own house, don't have car or credit card debt, and I only need to earn 40k a year to cover all of my bills. Every cent extra I earn goes to paying down my mortgage, gym, and golf once a week. \n\nThe question is, is it better l elsewhere? I don't know, but I am trying to be happy with what I have instead of what I could have had by being born 30 years too late. Ultimately, I would rather stay here work within the system to change it and continue to make smart decisions that put me ahead. Starting out all over again makes my stomach sick, and I love this country, despite it's flaws and its government, it has great people and beautiful nature. \n\nBest wishes to all of you other Canadians, and let's make it the Canada we want and deserve again.

It's shocking to me when my 6 year old nephew understands better how to manage population, unemployment, and immigration better than the entire Liberal party. And his experience is basically Cities: Skylines and Sim City.

It's about time something was done about this. It's not racist to understand that helping decent people to find a better life in Canada is not what the TFW program is about. The TFW program is there for one reason...to keep wages in Canada as low as possible, so that the owner class can keep more profit for themselves. this is modern day slavery

I STILL HERE, PALESTINIANS SAYING, ME, ME, ME, AND ME. \nYET THEY STARTED THE WAR. \nTHE ISREALIS, ME, ME, ME, ME.\nYOU WOULD THINK THAT THEY WOULD UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER. BUT nope. \nThis is why it is what is.

I am a new subscriber. im sorry to see all the misinterpretation of your views and the complete joy from so many that you will be moving. its understandable to move based on what you value. I hope you find contentment in your new life in a new place.

To all people here that object to Germany not making everything English-speaking.\n\nIn my experience working with a large German corporation, when in a remote meeting of 200+ people a handful of people say they prefer the meeting to be held in English, it’s going to be in English, even if it means that the speakers will automatically dumb down the content by 80%, have problems with vocabulary, and struggle to get across the finer details. The documentation for IT stuff will be written in approximate English to please the 3-5% readers who just wanted to earn a higher wage for a few years, but not commit to the culture of their host country.\n\nIf both sides speak only a second language and not their mother tongue, what are the chances of ever feeling like you really understand the other? It’s like shaking hands wearing gloves. If you come to Germany or any other non English speaking country, and feel at home there, commit. Learn the language. Embrace the cultural differences. Germans are reserved on the surface, it takes some effort for them to warm to strangers. But given time, most of them are happy to do so, and can be very loyal friends. \n\nIntegration into the society of a country you emigrate to is a two-sided story. The host country certainly has to make it easier, but it’s still an onus on the immigrants. Not being willing to accept that the host nation is culturally different isn’t an option. English is certainly an international language, because it is the language of a former worldwide colonial empire. But that’s no reason to expect that English is enough for a satisfying integration into any society.\n\nRacism is an issue in many countries that are historically very homogeneous, and having a significant minority can actually make it worse. But that’s not limited to Germany.

There are only two major cities in the world with a majority foreign born population. Not NYC or Los Angeles, not London or Paris. The two cities are Miami and Toronto. Miami is understandable because of the 'Mariel Boatlift' of the 1980's. But Toronto's surge has no explanation, other than it coincided with Trudeau as PM

I don't understand how all of these other ethnicities are allowed spew all kinds of violent and racist crap but whites get jailed and all matter of bad stuff - Canada is an embarrassment to the world

You should read, speak, write and well understand the German language. This would be not easy as you think as the English language...ha.ha.ha.??

To others saying “stop complaining” or other things is just not good! As a Muslim, I understand. Everyone in America and non-Islamic country’s are against Muslims.\n\nEveryone says we are complaining when really it’s the people that hate that makes it bad for Islam and a bunch of toxic people screaming at PALASTANE saying we are wrong?

Thanks for being a voice to us DW. It's importing to do self criticism to improve.\n\nFirst of all, as an expat I also passed the same stages. It's really difficult to understand the bureaucracy.\n\nBureaucracy:\nIt took me 9 months to get a working permit.\nFor a renewal, I had to make an appointment to have an appointment... The last time they offered me an appointment after 1.5 years.\n\nYou don't get a right answer from the people who works there. Your life depends on those people.\n\nAs an expat who lives 3.5 years in Germany, I still don't have an German bank account which is not online. Basically, they don't open the account or giving an appointment to over 1 months or etc. \n\nBut this bureaucracy is for all. Germans also have the same issue.\n\nHousing is also an issue. I tried to apply the same places by my name and a German name. It was possible to get an appointment by a German name :) \nBut I do understand them that they find Germans of course more trustworthy.\n\nCulture:\nI don't think many people are racist here. I even live in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. They were mostly nice to me. However, the city you live change a lot. Hamburg is one of the best city about welcoming expats. People are nice and kind. Never had an issue here.

I can't understand. Why does Canada have the most vast land on earth, but instead of building new cities on new ground, rather trying to squeeze more immigrants into built communities and causing a housing crisis? There must be some systematic problem.
2024-08-23 0
Indo Canadian here, there are sure a lot of Indians here. I'll be very candid with my opinion, it's not hate as much as it's fact. And this doesn't just apply to Indians but South Asians they refuse to assimilate, don't understand social cues, are very misbehaved and now it's like there is a wave of anti Indian sentiment (mostly from Anglo Canadians).
