Appreciate the point on adapting to the culture in Canada. Many immigrants fail to understand this basic concept. Well spoken on many points ?

Highest internet fees in the world. Months long waits for health care. Taxes on everything, even on used cars, food necessities and gov't checks. No bus or public transportation system between cities and often only one airline to service your flight in many areas outside huge metro centers. Minimum 18% tipping expectations at restaurants with already high prices for what you get. Violence and drug addiction, homelessness and fraud all prevalent in your daily experience no matter where you live. Then, winter is coming....

I am disappointed with this video. The problems mentioned here are in USA and UK as well. We form opinions based on our experiences. I have no complaints against Healthcare as I was operated in few hours in emergency and never had to wait long for diagnostic tests. Education in Canada is affordable compared to US. Air and Food quality is great. People are extremely friendly. Yes, the housing crisis is there especially post Covid but hoping the market will correct gradually. In my experience, every country has pros n cons and one needs to make a choice between their home country and Canada comparing both based on one's priorities and preferences.Canada changed our lives in so many good ways and my whole family appreciates it. Canada is ovetall a nice country. And it's not easy to get PR. If you get , it's luck n hardships to settle in any new country.

There needs to be a cap on how many immigrants are allowed in. Other countries have restrictions, why can't Canada? My town has literally been taken over! 5 families in one home, and not one can cut the grass!!

Im pretty sad for them ? those innocent people doesn’t deserve to be treated like that if only their co Muslims doesn’t spread terrorism around the globe and make aggressive actions towards many years just for the sake of history. Why are people leaving? BEcause in the last 7 years we made a huge mistake of letting in too many people and spent less time developing ourselves and infrastructure. Way too many came and got seated in the usual big cities where things are getting worse. Right now there is a gradually increasing anti-immigrant sentiment, especially towards East Indians, Bangladeshiis and Pakistanis, and there is a worry about having existing culture turning too Islamic and Hindu. So you can often hear some pretty racist things or read some pretty racist stuff online.\n\nThe problem isn't immigration. Immigrants are amazing and we need them, but our country didn't play the long game and let in too many too fast. Right now esp[ecially for Bangladeshiis and Indians, is that ,many are coming illegally and getting a REFUGEE status, paying their own to do this who work in lawyerships [and you shoudl see the scamming being done by Indian and Bangladeshi Canadians who are just taking their former countrymen for everything they are worth!]: Canada is like a person taking on too much all at once and then resenting its choices once it becomes responsible for them. Between bad decisions and some very seedy practices by immigrants coupled with the general greed to own land....and you have a modern crisis.

US government is too generous with welfare, schooling, healthcare, food stamps, English as a second language and financial AID, and housing to undocumented folks...USA policies are too generous and a magnet for undocumented folks the world over and at the same time unable to adequately help veteran, mentally ill, american impoverished children, usa jobless and homeless, many of women come over pregnant siting the 14th amendment to constitution orthey'll have several babies i n several years, and tgey know better about benefits to age 18 better than natural born citizens.

Nice thoughts... But those moving to these aforementioned countries shouldn't be castigated and termed desperados. \n\nPeople migrate for different reasons, many in these countries especially in the gulf are there to build capacity so as to make moving to America, UK and Australia and other better European countries more affordable and assured and do so with a softer landing and so far it has worked and working out well for so many... As you know moving to America and Canada has not always been easy and affordable as it is with some of these countries and in reality the quality and cost of life and healthcare in many of these countries are not as bad as those in the west assumes. \n\n\nSo if you're in America, Canada or the better others, you shouldn't see others moving here as short sighted or desperate.,. Many of the facts were some % wrong. Although I love India and happily worked in India for almost decade, but lifestyle and personal life is better in Canada, because in India big business tycoon says people should work for 15-18 hrs. Personal life put on shit. It’s not easy to settle here easily and definitely have to struggle a lot, and that is same in India if u are builting things by your own and not on with family support. Homeless people are being provided with proper shelters and money in Canada, but being druggist they don’t live there. Skilled people here are not struggling much, but if u go in comfort zone and continue with basic jobs, u eventually will struggle. People don’t wna go to distance city, hence all problems.

It’s good that they decided to leave, if they’re religious priority is more important to them than their national identity of being Canadian-( which many first generation Canadians deal with ), it’s better they chose to stand by the side that is more important to them and suits their desire more. Too many international colleges for Indian students

I am very social person and love to meet with new people and exchange intellect, in the last few years I have been attacked by many for being very social and outgoing, my social and YouTube pages were also attacked and de-tared. This is very aggressive and unfriendly.

I am a Barber and depend on tips to make my job worthwhile. When an Indian immigrant has a haircut it is extremely rare to get any tip. So many get haircuts as the immigration levels go up that I will likely have to find a second job to make ends meet.

The first point is not hypocrisy as every country makes/modifies its policies keeping in mind what is good for that country, so that is not hypocrisy. A little bit skewed but the video makes some good points. I move from Canada to the US in 2016. The US is wild and there are many downsides, such as lack of healthcare and unaffordable higher education to name only the two most glaring ones out of many, but it is economically more vibrant. Regarding rent prices in large cities, if I were to live in Canada again, I'd definitely steer away from Vancouver or Toronto. Montreal has very affordable apartment prices comparatively if you're willing to put up with learning French for instance. Food prices have gone up but so have they in the US since COVID, whether you're living north or south of the border, it's not much better... In the end it's all about weighing pros and cons. What are you willing to sacrifice / let go of, and what is something you can't live without?

Too many so call immiungrateful

My family are Central American immigrants. The vast majority of them have been blue collar hard working people that helped shape what we live in today. I am first generation born Canadian coming from this blue collar family of hard working immigrants that earned their Canadian citizenship. I think most of us who have immigrant family from anywhere have seen this. I cannot necessarily say I’ve seen this type of work or drive to contribute from the Indians that immigrate to Canada. Yes there are some who really contribute, but that should be the norm not the exception. I don’t have anything against them, I just really wished Canada would be more diligent on who they let in and how many they let in. This is the result of just opening the flood gates. Canada has always been multicultural, but you gotta earn your keeps.

Went to Canada in 2005 first. Things were so different. Was there just for a year before moving to California for about 9 years. Now back in India and love it here. Glad I enjoyed the good days in Canada and USA when it was really good times there. Even Many parts of Uaa are like this now. UK too is bad choice. I worked for a Canadian school/institute as their admissions advisor for India. But when things were not looking good for their job prospects I honestly told them not to go or wait to get in a better US university. Ofcourse this ethical mindset was causing trouble with my work profile and targets, so I quit. Atleast I won't feel guilty of misguiding hopeful students who were ready to take education loan by keeping their homes or ancestral lands as mortgage. I will advise the new generation to choose any country for education after doing all research, not just by the glossy picture they portray.. or best to stay in India and help our economy grow.. create jobs here. I agree with most of the information in this video. I lived in Canada from 2015-2021. When i used to attend college, parking lot always smelled like weed. People were always lined up at the “recreation drugstore” even in excruciating cold. Also, the job market is bad, most of the employers are racist. Permanent residency is very hard to get. Free health care is actually not free. It is deducted from your every single pay checks. If you had any emergencies, be ready to wait for more than 10+ hours; sometimes more than that. I remember when back in 2015, prime minister justin, got more than 5 thousand Syrian refugees, and people were complaining that they are currently facing job shortages, housing issues and many other things but their needs were completely ignored. I recently visited Canada, and it’s getting worse now, lots of traffic, crime and homeless people. I would still recommend if you want to go and get educated because the education system is good. But if your goal is only for settlement then i would suggest to apply for permanent residence first.

Can you talk about Bangladeshi quota problem? Many students lives are in danger

In Bangladesh, all university students have been protesting against the quota system. But today the ruling party student wing, Bangladesh Chhatro League along with the police has attacked the students and many been severely injured. Not a single broadcasting channel has covered this on the news due to pressure from the government. It is my request to you that you make a video about this to let the whole world see what is happening in Bangladesh. Thank you.
