I believe the government should take a more proactive approach to managing the number of people admitted into Canada, ensuring a balanced and equitable distribution. It's important to avoid scenarios where larger groups overshadow smaller ones, which could lead to future challenges. Additionally, we should aim to prevent issues similar to the riots currently happening in the UK.

Do native Canadians have children anymore? Can they afford to? Do indigenous Canadians agree to more immigration (colonization) of Canada?

India would easily send 50 million immigrants if Canada wants.

Ive lived here my entire life and sadly have seen canada go from a have to a have not country .From medical care to the subway that has taken more than a decade we are in bad shape .

Still one of the cleanest & safest though…isolated crimes yes, bigoted & discriminatory somewhat but the irony is it’s mostly from the new immigrants that bring it from their own war torn etc countries. Scapegoating? It's simple supply and demand, and nothing can change it. Socialism won't fix it, importing impoverished people won't fix it, legislation won't fix it. You have to attract people with the proper skillsets to make the country and city better. Having a booming population and no room to grow doesn't do that. The California Bay Area and Los Angeles area has already seen the problems this causes, companies and skilled workers are moving to places that they can afford to live and build companies. With more people comes less opportunities, Canada needs to learn from the mistakes of others. Do not take everyone, take those who want a better life but can also give back to the country.

The issue is not with immigrants or immigration, rather a lack of social structures. Canada has one of the highest taxation, with the lowest return spending on social structures, as compared to their high ranking counter parts.

A Chinese lady launched a registry for bad tenants in Canada. Most of the data is pulled from BC Courts and Ontario LTB. If a landlord files paperwork about a bad tenant at the board, it will appear in the registry. Landlords can use it to vet prospective tenants. Its free. She created it after a bad experience she had on her rental property in Richmond, BC. She works in IT so pulled it together.

Because they allowing job seekers instead of business creators. I tried to apply and got rejected twice. I wanted to settle in Canada and set up my own business. Sorry but Job seekers take away the jobs of citizens. IF YOU WANT business creators/entrepreneurs then yea, but job seekers take away the jobs. Its not rocket science.

I really hope the Canadian government can understand that immigration is not the problem but the allocations. There should be more medium size cities in Canada like US and by allocating immigrates to those area the population will then grow in a heathy way.

Happened to us, our tenants were in our home and owe is $35K in rent. Meanwhile had a 100k SUV in their driveway. Canada is a joke?

With some news reports there is growing number of these migrants who are crossing over the Canada-U.S.A. border, illegally entering the United States.

Canada government should not bring any people for the next 4 years. And if they bring people they should stay other provinces for atheist 5 years not Ontario province specially TORONTO.

My advise to landlords, do not rent to “such” people. Newcomers on work permits or student visas are a better bet because they will pay out of fear of losing their credit or status in Canada

It’s not safer. lol. There’s still murders happening here. My ex was rapped and murdered last year. I live in Woodstock Ontario more serial killers here than the rest of the country. lol and it is compact. Most of Canadas population is in sourthen Ontario. Not many people live more then 2 hours away from border.

canada needs more immigrants, but they need to be more diverse. african continent is underrepresented, india and europe are overrepresented. bring in more africans and latinos and middle easterners.

I don’t think it is anti immigration in general, it is more anti Indian immigration. Look at Brampton and many other parts of Ontario and BC Almost no diversity in some cities. It doesn’t feel like Canada. Every Tim Hortons, truck drivers, many Indian international students, gas stations. Look at the job fairs, mostly Indians. What happened to diversity.

We are bringing people in that do not want to assimilate to canada . You come here eat rice and beans do not buy furniture dont go to the returants and hold the money uuntill they go back home ..I Work in construction and here it everyday
