No more Indians! Stop Indianizing Canada!

Indians have become the majority in canada looks like the goverment needs to update statistics and start rolling in programs that include true diversity because all it seems most workplaces are only accepting Indians .

The good work that you mentioned there done is only for the benefit for other Indians. \n\nThere's no diversity in canada anymore, Indians killed it, and everyone looks the same.

I praise the Author for admitting to the wrongs being done by Indians. But 5-10% is wrong. In last 5 years most of the students and temporary workers who came to Canada have been THE part of the problem. Most of them should not have been here for any reason.

Indian students going to private colleges owned by Indians that have no merit as far as there degree are concerned. It's a scam for them to reside here. It's a scam from day 1. Go check if private college is the same as a real Canadian college. It's not, private college is not recognized as authentic community college like Sheridan. \nThey been scammed. \nWho goes to a college in Canada run by Indians . Only Indian students. Your paying $20,000 a year for the same teaching and teachers that would cost you 20,000 rupees in India.\nThey come here and work at McDonalds and drive truck. Nothing else. SCAM

As a tourist to Canada I noticed a big culture clash. While Canadians over use the word “sorry,” Indians did not think twice about jumping ahead of a line and pushing people away to make space for their own family — even before that family arrives. Indians have a great and ancient civilization, but that is not an excuse for disrespecting the Canadian one.

So ... why is it ok for Palestinians to protest for Palestine in Canada but not ok for Indian students to protest against what is clearly unfair and unjust ? Government policies should impact new incoming students and not those who are already in the country on basis of earlier rules. Rules should never be changed suddenly and randomly. That makes no sense.

There are alot of Indian scammers in Canada

It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. Getting immigration back to sensible levels of skilled workers in the next step, and not just massive amounts of one culture. Diversifying the diversity. coming here not work is not the issue, driving down the wages, doing sub-standard work and only hiring there own people is. come to Canada and compete on the open market as everyone else is acceptable the cream will always rise to the top and the most skilled will always prevail. this is not what we see when you go work what we see is employers refusing fair wages, employers deny workers rights someone desperate and inexperienced will do it instead. Indian want to run Canada

The numbers of Indians coming here is ridiculous. I blame the Liberal Government, whose propping up a failing economic policy artificially by increasing population. But I also have to wonder, the Indians I know are slavishly trading info on their silly Zuckerberg app, do they not realize how expensive its become in Canada? I am a born Indo-Canadian, and I'm getting tired of seeing Indians everywhere, this is Canada, not India. It doesn't help they openly scream in Hindi and Punjabi in public and their work-spaces instead of trying to adopt and adapt to the culture.

Canada allows them to come over on a temporary visa to attend a college, and Indians seem to believe that entitles them to citizenship. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY!

See you are a respectful and good citizen who we would have no problem welcoming to Canada. It's the others who are ignorant and who do not respect our countries culture. If you plan to immigrate you must respect our culture and act as nice or nicer than the reputation us Canadians have. The reason we are upset with some Indians is they have no respect. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. We do not do that here. Either way something has to change the government needs to fix this problem they created. Also why did they allow so many Indians what about Immigrants from other countries? It seems like all they did was mass import people from India. They can hardly even speak English. No disrespect I am just saying from someone who was born in Canada and whose parents grandparents and great grandparents and beyond were all born in Canada how we feel the way our country is being disrespected. It does not make us happy. But let me stress that I know there are kind respectable people from India who come here and are helping Canada. It's the ones who are disrespectful and are not respecting OUR culture.

You hit the nail, right on the head. It's both our governments fault and Indian peoples fault. We brought in too many, all at once. I'm all for international students. I'm all for people from abroad, coming to our education system, because we have the one of best in the world, get an education, establish yourself here and you can make a great life out of it and you'd be accepted. Learn our polite and law-abiding culture, and you would be accepted. If you come over here with the expectation of becoming citizens, because our government markets it like that. The amount of times that I met Indians that don't care, are rude, entitled don't deserve to be here. On top of that, they bring in their third-world culture and thinks it's ok to behave like that. Yes, bring your culture. Bring your massive weddings, food, art and traditions. That's what makes canada such a great nation. But leave all the other things that you're trying to escape in India or avoid in India. That's why there is so much hate towards them.

I think that it's not hating Indians, it's more about the there are WAY too many immigrants coming into Canada that require our social services and therefore our tax money. There are many unemployed immigrants, Indian or not, now, along with regular unemployed citizens. Also, family members coming over on tourist visas and working under the table, yet adding more to the unemployment issues. It is NOT about racism as much as the shear number of immigrants coming into Canada causing the housing shortage and higher prices as a result of it.

You come to Canada, presumably for a better education. Take this knowledge, and your skill set back to India, to make it a better place to live. Otherwise, Canada becomes a country of Indians. Simple math, 1.6 BN Indians, 40 MN Canadians. What percentage of Indians, Chinese, and others have to move to Canada to eventually become the majority?

I find when Indians come to Canada they bring there own brand of racism but if you as a Canadian point it out or bring it to light .... We're the racist. They've brought and want to condone the negatives of their culture. A lot of their murders towards family members go overlooked.

Canadians, I'm an Indian, living in US for the past 5 years in the Midwest. I'll be going back to India for my startup. I've not visited Canada and not planning to. There isnt much to see anyway...\n\nImmigrants from Punjab region were encouraged for a long time against all others for a long time... The second and third generation of them are politically active and strong. All they care about is Khalistan and nothing else and they're close to realising it first in Canada. The chickens have come home to roost...\n\nYou need them to work in agricultural fields and you can't control them. Enjoy the fun together.....

Indians are coming to Canada not because of the language or culture they are coming here because of better economic opportunities and better life, same for the chinese and most of other immigrants. This is fine. The government should put limits on immigration amounts.

The Indians coming to Canada over the past 5-10 years are the absolute bottom of the barrel. \n\nDo not compare them to those who migrated to the US & Canada over 20 years ago. Those Indians don’t even want to be associated with them and many are now expressing their embarrassment & disgust. \n\nPeople are fed up with the sheer numbers flooding ??.. they’re bringing their caste system with them, they are also racist against others and especially black people, they are known for being exploitative against even their own people, they’re known for being scammers & cheats. \n\nIndia’s population is over a billion. Youth unemployment is ridiculously high. Rural & urban poverty, squalor & filth is high …. It’s no wonder that they are desperate to leave & the “immigration consultants” are selling them lies about life in paradise. Many who come were clearly NOT properly vetted as they are dangerous criminals. Most of the “students” have no intention of returning to India and came to stay indefinitely & feel entitled to do so. Does Indian Government allows citizens of other countries Work Permit and Permanent Residency to any Foreign students in India. What a shame if you do not allow any foreigner to verstay why rallying for International Students in Canada. They are using the wrong way of becoming permanent residents. What a shame on part of India.

So far, my interaction with new Indians coming to Canada has been positive. My favourite Doctor and Dentist are both Indian. The majority of delivery men are Sikhs or Indian: the Sikhs are very funny, friendly - the others just do a good job.

I worked with Indian years ago and they braged about how they broke laws from paying their friends to taking their driving tests to ripping of social services . I was told Canada was easy pickings. They bring their old people here so they can get oas gis than move back to India.

I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. Our regular customers started going else ware because of this problem. I'm afraid Canada is no longer a great, desirable country because we have aloud it to be taken over by the east indians. It is the governments fault but is is also the fault of the indians because they have not adapted to the Canadian way of life. They want us to adapt to their way of life. Please close the doors to any further indian immigrants or students . Go back to India if you don't like what Canada wont do for you.. I am a senior citizen and it makes me sick to see what you people have done to my country.

Recently Indian immigrants are destroying their reputation. There were stories and videos emerging where some indians are urinating in the subway station, defecating in public beaches, crossing railway tracks as it's their own backyard, and driving without any regard to the rules of the road. These are some of the bad things happening here in Canada. These new immigrants are destroying the way of life of Canadians and demolishing the reputation of all immigrants.

As an Indian I congratulate Canada, Australia and the US and Europe. You must not allow foreigners at the detriment of the citizens. India under the current regime is going through massive problems. The joblessness and the divide between the rich and poor is just too much

Unfortunately, Indians abuse all good things in Canada. \nBefore parents and grandparents can get citizenship easily, since Indians Abuse this benefit, Canada stop this process. \nAll countries has same value to get in. But some Indians workers in the immigration services they allowed more Indians more than others nations. You guys are scary. \nPlus student they do Uber instead of studying. I love my second gen immigrants Indians and they're parents the immigrated properly, not coming in as students and demand PR and don't want to leave. No houses. No jobs. These students smash cars, have 0 manners, throw garbage on streets, 20 in homes, increased crimes and total disrespect to citizens that have lived here for generations. We need these types to have respect towards Canada, other immigrants, citizens...this isn't Vegas where you party without guidance and parents. These are Indian students, please dont call them International students mostly Punjabis. They had an easy access to Canada through these bogus study visas. They have taken over all minimum wage jobs . In my area i do not see any other ethincity at all.

Yeah, I agree with you, I have friends that are Indians and never had a problem. If the liberal government had made sure that we had the number of houses to accept all these immigrants and they brought in the people we need and not trouble makers we wouldn't be seeing this problem. It's to bad the way Canada is going down hill because of this government. Hopefully everything will get back to normal after the next election but it's going to take time now to fix the mess.
