I was born in Canada in the 80s. My parents are from India. So call me racist if it gets you off. My ass is browner than yours probably. \nMy parents, and my uncles and aunts who came here in the late 1970s had to work their asses off to prove they were worthy of even ENTERING Canada, let alone to live in the country. ALL of my older male relatives who came to Canada at that time had a PhD in a science related field or was a medical doctor. EVEN then, they had to go through years of re-training in Canadian schools in order to have a shot at PR. And they persevered and did it, and did well. \nNow, anyone and their dog is allowed in, and it's kind of an insult to all my relatives had to accomplish in order to build a life here. They had to earn doctorates and medical degrees TWICE (once in India and again in Canada).\nWell, that generation did well, and now we're the kids who are grateful and enjoying the sacrifice they put in. What will the kids of illiterate, minimum wage workers be like? Probably not so good.\nCanada's probably done. But does the average Canadian have any desire to do anything. Nope. They used to value hard work and ambition when I was growing up but Canadian culture has become lack of ambition, and entitlements just for existing. \nSo, at least I was raised with the idea of working to no end and sacrificing in order to accomplish something in life. Now, I have the resources to live where I like and do. Canada's just a place I visit now if I feel like it.\nThose of you who like to sit at Tim Horton's every weekend with your beer and weed every night complaining about how your employer should pay you more obesity privileges, enjoy being served by the migrants who WILL take over as you approach the counter in your government funded scooter. You all reaped what you sowed. Most Canadians WELCOMED socialism and their wish came true. Peace.

Immigration has become infestation in both the US and Canada. Our ?? Prime Minister is instrumental in causing the problem on our side of the border. I apologize to all my American family and friends. Since Justin Castro took office in 2015 we’ve gone from 36 million to 41 million in population. Whatever you said is 100 percent correct. The reevaluation you did about the health care system is 100 percent right. The problem is Indian students are blindly coming to India without doing proper research and seeing things own sided. There are so many stories of Indian students living in pitiable conditions literally in poverty after coming here or they commit suicide under pressure as they cannot survive the harsh economic and social conditions. You have given a very good message that majority of students come here looking at example of people around them who are settled in Canada from the last 10-20 years but now the reality is so so different. Everything is super expensive and no matter how much you earn paying bills is getting so tough. Please don’t leave India if you have a family support and good financial and education background. As a Canadian I truly belive our gov in canada is next level incompetent and they don't think immigrants are a problem at all, if not a solution cause we have to give everyone the benefit of the doubt for some reason, indians are our second most common race as well as very much involved with our politics and police even though about 7 years ago there wasn't a single Indian in canada hardly. We also get mostly low grade migrants without much education and are advertising heavily to India and Africa to come start a life in canada for some fucking reason even though where I live average wages are about 45k and average rent is 2.2x higher then 8 years ago and most groceries are about 40 to 80% higher since trudeau got elected too and you make less money often times here for the same jobs so all that probably contributes a lot too to why this is happening

WOW! Sorry Cash but American are VERY undereducated about Canada. This has been going on for years on the boarder. It just up - ticked in the last couple. One of the problems here is we have ZERO vacancy rates , which makes it worse ...we have nowhere to put them, Then there's our foreign student problem which is very complicated and involve CON MEN in India , who have contacts/ family here and work the system. Up to and including helping them get drivers permits...illegally. There's all sorts of loop holes , how we found out about the drivers permits, why traffic accidents became more frequent of course. Then there's the fake colleges they set up and yeah the student gets a minimum wage job and lives in a house stacked with ppl in the same boat as them. Then find out they being rooked and stay with no education or if they do get a legit school they can't stay here and become a citizen because they can't find work in the higher professions ( doctor ) because the system is screwed then they move back home with a good education and leave us with gaps in our medical system. It's complicated and won't be solved anytime soon on either side.

It’s been so long about immigrants from different countries applying to Canada why only now that having this temporary visitors become a big problem???. I’m an Indian international student currently in a master’s program in Canada and I think this video perfectly speaks to a lot of problems in the country. I chose Canada due to its high quality of education. I personally also think the country messed up with their mass immigration with no quality check of individuals coming from India. If a person is allowed to be in a foreign country they must assimilate into its culture and values or at the bare minimum not force your own beliefs on the people there. I find a lot of entitlement certain immigrant population feel quite ridiculous , it’s not racist to want people who come into your country to be respectful of it’s values. I would just like to say that not every Indian immigrant is the same though there are people who just wanted a different life and embrace the culture of the country that they had an opportunity to be a part of.

This is all too true. I live in Ontario and all I see is Indians and Pakistani people everywhere. When I get on public transport, I get lucky if I see a white, black, or latino person. It's just Indians and Pakistanis everywhere. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in India. But, I've had enough. As a Greek/Canadian citizen, I plan on going back to Greece or maybe Thailand, Vietnam, or South Korea, where I don't have to put up with seeing and dealing with Indians and Pakistanis anymore.
