Honestly, you seem full of it. The description lists a whole bunch of generalities that don't affect 90% of the people.. You should seriously consider El Salvador. I moved here in late 2022. Best move I've ever made! The people are very genuine and the President is World Class!\n\nSafest country in the Western Hemisphere! Easy residency process. Easy to move money in and out of El Salvador as ₿itcoin is legal tender. A great expat community and tons of support from them.\n\nI arrived here by land with three dogs. Really didn't have a plan. My tourist visa was about to run out after 180 days so I applied for residency. 30 days later I was a temporary resident of of El Salvador. No taxes on property ownership. No taxes on income sourced from abroad. This is the ideal location for digital nomads.\n\nYou can grow your own food here very easily even with a small yard. Tons of things to see and do. It's ideal.\n\nA very tiny country with a very big heart. Do some research on Nayib Bukele, the President, and El Salvador itself. The country is appropriately named. The harsh winters in Canada have always been a negative living here but the quality of life used to help make up for it. But the ever rising cost of real estate has made home ownership out of reach for many young people today. Canada is insane, over the past 3 years i have seen the housing market triple in my area. Crime has exploded and so too has the cost of basic goods and services. I am in the top 10% of income earners in this country and I have been priced out of the housing market indefinitely. I work in stem and i am lucky that i can afford a 1 bedroom apt. When i was a child my parents worked simple blue collar jobs and made average to below average pay. They had a nice modest home. Now even crack shacks are beyond my ability. How the fuck does the bottom 40% of Canadians survive?

Sadly, mostly white women in Canada and all other countries in the west have voted in the policies and politicians that have destroyed all these western countries and made them unsafe and increasingly unliveable.

The idea of Europeans et al complaining about immigrants is hilarious. Here they are going on about the illegals after their very own NATO blew their countries to bits and made life there impossible. Don't forget the age - old destabilisation of African countries as well.

You don't really have to sugar coat it. Canada WAS a great place to live but it's just not anymore. That's why you're leaving. And let's be clear that this is fault of Liberals in power. Left Toronto this year and now live in northern BC. Best decision I made. The cities in Canada have completely fallen apart. Small town life in Canada is still good though, and much more affordable. But you have to enjoy small town, country life. If you want to live in a city, Canada is not it.

l Support your new dream of living a better life , l made that same choice in 1993 . As a fellow traveller you see how other cultures deal with life. Canada started going backwards when the Conservatives enacted the GST , like we needed more taxation . Canadian government is self serving just like the USA. I started making plans to leave Canada back in 2013. I left in October of 2021, during the Covid insanity, where the people and Government of Canada revealed who they truly were. It was the best move I ever made for my family and I. We are much better off being out of the shit-hole that is Canada.

I lived for 8 years in Canada and then moved to Singapore three years ago. That was the best decision I ever made. I came back to Toronto this year, and was completely shocked by the cost of living, the drug problem on the street, and the huge amount of immigrants from one single country taking over the whole Canada.

I left in 1992 and came back in 2015 and left again for good in 2020 mainly due to the draconian covid restrictions. It was the best decision I ever made in my life and I have never looked back. From my point of view, Canada is beyond unrecognizable today and the leaders in Ottawa have sold the country and the people down the river along time ago and sadly the real serious Canada is nothing but a memory. I feel sorry for the immigrants who come to Canada and have a romanticized vision of the nation. They have no idea what they have gotten themselves into. Canada is a failure because it doesn't utilize its mass resources and it inflated the economy and let in ways too many people in too short of time which made housing some of the highest in the world. 100% agree to Mr. Ozan, they are particularly mean and harsh when it comes to talking to non-europeans in English. Mr. Ozan made a good question that how do Germans talk to Italians and Frenchs? English or something not German. I am new and I am willing to learn alongside my full-time course and part time job. It's not like the government has made any conditions while granting the visa. I have met many genuine Germans who don't know english but they are kind enough to express what they want to say, but employees in some stores are so rude and deliberately say Nein when asked for help in english. Like wtf.

Canadian immigration is a joke. I earned a masters here from a reputed university, spent so much time and money, 6 years later I became a permanent resident. I was so grateful. Now, anyone with a sob story in the name of “persecution” can just come here and actually get government money for a good while to settle in. And now, we have entire flight crews just simply “claiming” asylum. The government has made everyone who took the right channels, faced so many hardships in the way are effing losers who could’ve just gotten in through the many bogus channels. i love this country, but it has gone to the dogs steadily since 2015.
