The students prefer Canada as it is the easiest way to get PR status. And there is no strong vetting system. These are agents’ main selling points. I have seen students struggling for qualified jobs after the course, most of them taking labour jobs. Probably, most of them wouldn’t have any sort of such work in India, here working as a helper for a mason, working as a delivery boy etc.

Yeah it's hard to find a job and keep the job in Canada. Even with a job that doesn't require education and anybody can do, I come across someone who is not happy with me being there and they try to find reasons why I shouldn't work there ?it happened 16 years ago when I first got into workforce and it happened not too long ago again. I was inventory clerk counting products at different stores. I believe I was an accurate counter and someone who recounted them told my manager I wasn't good. She said many of them I counted were either off or she couldn't understand my writing. And the manager had to have a talk with me. I can honestly say I was better counter than she was. And I feel very confident I was very careful with counting that day too. But she thought otherwise. I couldn't bear working with someone or some people who didn't appreciate my work or my presence there so I had to quit. It will happen again and I thought it wouldn't matter how accurate I am at counting. One of my Canadian colleagues once told me that it's okay for immigrants to live in Canada but it's not okay to work with them. I don't know if that's a fact but in my experience I have encountered some people like that along the way.

Maybe Indians wouldn't need to resort to scams if education was a little cheaper.
2022-10-15 0
It wouldn't take much research to find this out. Put that smartphone to good use. Even word of mouth amongst the predominant group must happen or maybe start a Facebook group? If Canada began denying students VISA to them in order 'to protect' them, there would be an outcry. All to say, it's the parents and student responsibility to do their due diligence.

Of course when u are new in a good country u wouldn’t want to go back anytime soon , but with time when u have good investment and miss ur family u would want to go back and visit dem

I never thought what the police did was wrong . They did the right thing agreed it’s a Sikh religious thing, but come on have some\nSense ! In a college ! God wouldn’t punish you if you keep it at home ! It’s a weapon man !
2022-10-07 0
there are other students to consider. I wouldn't feel comfortable with my child walking around people with swords attached to their bodies. \nChristian are persecuted just for spreading the love of The Gospel of Jesus and yet this guy thinks he can carry a weapon?
2022-10-07 0
If he has to carry it all the time, why was it not an issue before? \nI mean, if he's always been wearing it, wouldn't the campus security know by now??
2022-10-07 0
I know that it's his culture nobody is opposing him from wearing it, just hide it underneath ur dress.\nProblem solved, u get to keep ur sacred kn1fe and nobody will be triggered by that.\nAnd also u wouldn't be arrested ??????????.
2022-10-06 5
If it was in India, the college wouldn't even care to write an apology like this, that's the real difference
2022-10-05 0
This is ridiculous why is it the Police arrest people that have done nothing wrong. Our Police are ignorant & uneducated. A Embarrassment to our country. Wouldn't it be smart to Google issue.
2022-10-04 0
What the heck you guys are doing in USA and Canada come to India. And enjoy your life man. \nLastly I wouldn't support carrying kripan like this to school.
2022-10-03 0
A knife is weapon, and a dagger is more so. Period. Unless camping, don't carry a knife on your person. No disrespect to the Sikh, but, if you wouldn't wear a knife on a plane, why would you risk wearing it on your college campus ??
2022-10-02 0
I wouldn’t feel safe if my classmates be carrying weapons like that if. If it’s religion. Imma switch my religious affiliation just to carry those around sheeesshh
2022-10-01 1
okay but homie walked into a public space with a sizable knife strapped to him. i had no idea this was a religious symbol, i don’t find it hard to believe that others wouldn’t either.
2022-09-30 0
I get it that's it a ritual. But what was his parents thinking when sending their son to educational institute with a knife?\n\nAnd he was ahowing it off like a goon could have hide it under his T-Shirt. And I wouldn't wanna be near someone carrying a gun or a knife without license cause one argument with him and I will be knocked cold.

I live in Montreal and wouldn’t want to live elsewhere. The city is big enough without being too big. The culture life is great.
2022-09-24 0
They bashed hard on Manitoba, I wouldn't say it's fair. If you have really spent time in the province there is so much to love. Crime rate is not what they make it sound. I live in one of the smaller city's and I can leave my house and car unlocked often without concern.??

I don't think I understand, I see a video you made a year ago where you made your 1st Million, why are you still in Canada? If you actually made the million you talked about, wouldn't it be better to move somewhere else and then just come back and visit family periodically? Help me understand, thanks

Life is what you make it. Canada, like anywhere else in the world, has its strengths and weaknesses. IMHO, your life mission should drive your choice of where to live or settle. If you are blessed enough to find your life purpose and live it, location-based disadvantages wouldn't matter that much as you would be preoccupied with thoughts about what you are called to bring to the world - and less about what goodies your surroundings can offer you. \n\nPosition yourself where conditions are suitable for the impact you are uniquely designed to make. Seeking maximum comfort or a perfect place (which does not exist) are not pursuits that set you up to live you best life.
2022-09-17 0
Canada is boring?! Where the hell are you guys leaving?! Canada is one of the biggest countries in the world; come on now... 10 provinces to visit and discover. I'm sorry but some statements in that video are so unfair (IMO)... Regarding racism, I think it's worst in the States and in Europe. I'm a Canadian, born and raised, and I wouldn't live anywhere else. No country is perfect but Canada is definitely not a bad country to live in. Of course, if you're not happy somewhere, the best option is to leave...
2022-09-17 1
If Africa had more education this wouldn't happened.
2022-09-17 0
The problem is our leaders are worthless or else we wouldn't need to migrate to these countries
2022-09-16 0
Canada is beautiful but I wouldn’t and couldn’t live there cos it’s WAYYYYYYYY to COLD!!! ???????????????
2022-09-16 0
WOULDN'T IT BETTER IF U STAY AND WORK AND BUILD YOUR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN ??????????

I came to Toronto in 2018 to visit Canada for the first time, and I went to an Italian restaurant where they were obviously very prejudiced and did not like to see a black man eating there. My GF then forced us to stay when I expressed my unease staying in that restaurant, but the drink and the food were just disgusting and I believe they did serve us that way on purpose. I even felt like they spat in my food. For a moment, I felt like I wanted to punch the arrogant and condescend manager in a face, but the grace of God wouldn't allow me to do such thing! I am not tempted to come back there anytime soon!
2022-09-15 0
Wouldn't live there even if it were free. Too dam cold ?. That's why the US ?? let them have it

I agree with most of your points, but as a person who immigrated to Canada 23 years ago, I am still happy that i did it, grateful for the opportunities that Canada offered to me, even though i had to work hard for everything. Few points i want to make for those who consider immigrating:\n1. Uprooting yourself from your country, and starting from the bottom in a foreign country is difficult, and not for everyone. Sometimes, when immigrants go back to visit their home countries, they try to present themselves as successful, and tend to exaggerate the positives. Having realistic expectations is crucial, do a thorough research beforehand, prepare yourself, and you will have better chances to succeed.\n2. I also lived in US for almost 2 years: US is better if you want to do business, or if you are highly specialized (IT, healthcare, etc.), but i wouldn't raise children there, even more so if i were a visible minority. \n3. If you are on top of your career at home, think twice before immigrating, unless you find a suitable position before arrival. If you are in a priviledged position, you have connections, doors are opened easily for you, you might find it difficult to adjust without these things. Many people leave their country because of corruption, they will find that they have more opportunities in Canada. \n4. There are some significant differences between provinces in Canada: Quebec offers low university tuition, Alberta offers the best ratio between average income and average housing costs. (You can buy a new house in Edmonton with about 300k) \n5. Canada might not be for those who want to become milionaires in few years, or for those who want a night life like Las Vegas or Ibiza... but if you are a young couple, motivated and hardworking, who want to raise children in a decent environment, to be able to send them to school without fear, Canada might be a good place.

I know the U.S. may seem better but moving here is a big mistake the racism you'll be dealing with is mind-boggling it's gotten worse since trump became president Biden is trying to deal with it but it's not getting any better, especially with police brutality which I'm sure you know is the worst it's ever been unless the Democrats win more seats in the Senate and hold on to the house of representatives it's going to get worst for people of color the Republican party has been hijacked by white nationalist this is not a country you want to move to unless you just want to do business I wouldn't advise it thousands of African Americans are leaving the U.S. because of systemic racism which has gotten worse.

Thank you so much for this video ?\nI had plans of moving to Canada in the name of getting a better life for me and my son. I just changed my mind after watching your video. \nI want to have a good relationship with my son, so I wouldn't subscribe to leave anywhere that I would have to be working all the time and not have time for myself. I am from Ghana, our economy is not very good now. But there's no place like home.?

Nice video, and actually most of the people leaving Canada are naturalized Canadians, mostly highly skilled 3rdworlders that come just to get the passport and then leave.\n\nJust in Dubai and Beirut there are more Canadian citizens than in most European cities and all of them didn’t born in Canada lol \n\nIf the government would add a tax for naturalized citizens living abroad you wouldn’t see this happening anymore at this rate

I'm Canadian, when I sold my home of 20 years and was moving away I wanted to say goodbye to my neighbors, it was the last time we would see each other I had gifts for them, they were home but they wouldn't answer my knocks and open their doors to talk, it was hurtful, I thought they were friendly but it was phoney friendliness.

Canada in Toronto, missasauga , looks cleaner the United States sometimes, but I’m not living there I wouldn’t understand
2022-09-03 0
You guys don't know what you're talking about. People in poor countries want to come to Canada. Its Obviously better staying in Canada than in other third world countries. If you don't like it in Canada why not go back to where you came from? The taxes are expensive because that's what It takes to fund the security and law& order you're seeing here. You can actually make a lot of money even with the taxes you pay, become and entrepreneur or become a doctor or some other high paying profession and then you wouldn't have to worry about the taxes. As for the ''being boring '' you're probably a new immigrant and don't know a lot of places here where you can go for fun. You have to review what you're saying 100%

All u people saying u wouldn't go back home it's because u are poor but I have to tell u this don't burn the bridge behind u

I hate to see Africans complaining about a friendly country when they come from countries without opportunities.\nFrance wouldn't give you the advantage you got in Canada
2022-09-02 0
Quebec have the highest taxes in Canada, I think you probably talking about Quebec, not the rest of Canada.\n\nAnd Why she complained about taxes and wealth when her Nigerian country has even more taxes and she wouldn't be able to make money like that in Nigeria.

Just stop coming to Canada period. Don’t mean to be rude but it wouldn’t be so bad here if we stoped giving out handouts too everyone and supporting every country that’s broke or not doing too good. And we know y’all just come here and fill up the homeless shelters and collect government money till you get on your feet.\nCome to Canada if you have something to contribute to society \n\nYou can’t help everyone out and us real Canadians are struggling as is…

What people fail to understand is that the grass is always greener on the other side...until you get there and realise that its just different shades of green. There are so many benefits to living in Africa. And there are benefits to living in western countries too. If you like jobbing (being an employee), saving for retirement and having a stable government to protect your investment or give you welfare benefits and having free healthcare and generally living a risk-free life, then abroad is for you. There are downsides though - while you have good roads and healthcare, you can hardly save, your mental health is on the line, you probably will have no social life, the genetically modified food, polluted air, chemicalized everything will cut your life span down. You can be an enterpreneur but the taxes alone, the regulation, etc can discourage you. \n\nIn Africa, there are security concerns but the same security concerns exist in all countries, only they differ in their nature. In Africa, I can grow my food, I can build my house according to my budget (no mortgage), I can start a business any day, i can feed on little money ( you can find markets that sell cheap food produce). And most importantly for me, the health factor - organic food, family and friends to help with your mental health and laugh and cry with you as the occasion demands. \n\nAnd now the icing on the cake - you can make the same dollar you make abroad from your country! So many online platforms to be a freelancer, to work for companies and individuals abroad. So you are making the same money and not drowning in taxes, in high rents, insurance fees and you can afford top-notch healthcare, even better than what you can get abroad. \n So it's up to you. Stop believing that abroad is better. it's not actually. I swore I wouldn't raise a child in London because of the high rate of knife crimes on the streets and the government' s lax attitude towards it because such crimes involve black kids. I never felt such fear in Africa. To each his own. My African shade of green works well for me. Abeg

We are our own doctors ? I wouldn’t trust them anyway
2022-08-30 0
I wouldn't mind paying taxes considering my kids will get quality basic education for it and quality healthcare....compare that with what you would get in your home country where you still pay taxes and they don't benefit you ...broken system that won't serve you

Canada is similar to America minus the gun violence, when you come from a almost homogeneous society where you are the majority ethnicity/tribe is used more. Since both of you are young surprised that you wouldn't know people here are call colors white, brown etc. You notice it's not always accurate for those people who say my skin isnot literally black (its makes no difference.) propaganda. to all coming o the west learn the history of your new country donot relie only on social media and marketing propogranda.

Salam khala, thank you for sharing your story. It surely was very easy when you guys moved to Canada. Best part is your whole family is there.. so you guys wouldn't have felt home sick then. \n\nPlease do share how to move to Toronto and what kinda jobs can one get for moving there.. would be super helpful, as I'm seriously considering moving there w/ family for a better future. Also, what do you both do for living??

I'm Mexican, 16 years old, Living in the USA I can speak English fluently, How can I immigrate to Canada, I don't really like the USA, I want something new, I've heard there's a lot of green places in Canada, I guess that's what drawns to this country. I know that as an immigrant things are not gonna be easy, And that lots of hard work awaits me, But that's nothing to be afraid of, Also I'm a very simple person, I wouldn't waste a lot of money, It really would benefit me, waste less money and earn more money, Good luck y'all

Why wouldn't more people be interested in their heritage. We all can learn and teach each other about one another.
2022-08-18 0
Snowflakes everywhere. While this guy is clearly a tool, this ISN'T a CRIME you halfwits. I wouldn't be surprised he gets charged or something though since we live in liberal clown land.

Free healthcare really only works in smaller population countries in the USA the long waits for the hospital would be a lot of pain for USA and it would be people complaining so that’s the reason free healthcare wouldn’t work in the USA
2022-06-20 0
Quebec wouldn't be my number one pick. Montreal is a nice but the winters in Quebec are cold as are a lot of the residents. The government is socialist with high taxes and the worst covid lockdowns in North America. Not a welcoming place for Anglo Canadians or American traveller's. I would probably say BC is the best province. It has the best of everything.
