I am from Pakistan and all my friends and relatives moved to UK, US, Australia and Canada. When I say all I mean 18 out of 20 left Pakistan and they don't want to come back to Pakistan ever because who doesn't want a better lifestyle for themselves and for their future generations but my father advised me never to leave your country because no matter what other countries will never accept you as their own citizens. Instead of leaving your country try to make it better. \n\nToday I see exactly that happening throughout the world. They want their countries back and you see their hearts filled with hatred against these immigrants. Sooner or later these immigrants will have to sell everything and come back to their countries. What a wise man my father was!

Just last month I heard a recent Canadian immigrant blaming immigrants for the problems in Canada. Ironic.

One in four Canadians, and growing are living below the poverty line or homeless in such a traditionally stable and wealthy country, which indicates one thing, the country is broken and has been mismanaged or deliberately ruined by corrupt politicians and political parties. A big part of the problem in Ontario at least are the huge numbers of foreign students.The government of Ontario allowed a large number of fly by night schools to open up to attract foreign students with the promise of a high quality Canada education. The schools charge the foreign students very high tuition, but give very poor service. They have no student housing, no proper campus and often don't even have classrooms or lecture halls that can handle the number of students they have enrolled. The students end up paying a fortune for a second class education, it is little more than a scam.

Canada has always been a country of immigrants, but in my country, Poland, that hasn't traditionally been the case. We're also seeing an influx of people from developing countries, many of whom come under false pretenses, enroll in private universities, or attempt to cross our borders illegally to reach Germany. Right now, we're at a loss, and the most frustrating part is that while we need skilled immigrants, we're instead getting unskilled individuals who don't even make an effort to learn the language.
