I'm Indian, i never understood why people want to leave our own country to become secondhand citizen in another country. But the problem is, the caste based reservation in education and jobs make it difficult for the indian creamy layer to find opportunities in our own country. Education is high, but no work opportunities proportionately.

American here. After watching this video I will say This is STILL staggeringly better than living in America. The same problems exist here but also add mass shootings, outlandish violence, and general systemic racism. I'd much rather be poor in Canada than in America.

The problem of feeling locals as immigrants in their own country is due to addiction of drugs. So question that first. Secondly, immigrants are back bone for Canadian economy. When I partisapated in road checks in BC. Most all Indian truckers wore thongs or sandals, in winter. They had no idea how to put on chains or how to drive in winter . We even found some using others DL's , looked similar but not the right person. Drivers from Indian owned companies had their documents searched throughly. They were 80,000 lb death machines on the road. But our higher ups in BC would not do anything to correct this problem.

South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. The french lady should see Montreal, it is cool to see Indians, Chinese speaking French. Do you ask why there are too many Chinese in Chinatown? Others are temporary honest Indian students that are being ripped off by Canadian wrong policies of shameless cash grab. Assimilation for new immigrants could be something in common e.g. free classical piano lessons for everyone in school. Music and language is a great first step in communication. The drug problem has nothing to do with immigration, it is the result of their own culture of drug abuse and bad Canadian policies. I think it is sad that the woman seems to be so negative without realizing the she has to care and use her power for good by demanding that no Canadian should be on the streets, this is why ALL Canadians (especially include South Asian Indians) pay taxes. where is our money going? is not the Canadian Government responsible for the welfare of ALL Canadians? we were the peacekeepers. Deporting this man is not going to address the problem. While not sounding politically correct, many many of these new Canadians who are driving trucks either don’t know the driving rules here, or don’t care. Just drive on highway 1 and watch. They need better training or we need more police on the roads to stop the poor drivers. I can’t count how many times I’ve been following a truck with two 53’ trailers and it’s all over the road and if you’re brave enough to pass you can see the drivers on the phone more than looking ahead.

Did they deport the people of the company that trained him, as they are 100% responsible, how about the giivernment officals that gavd the training company their licence as they are 100% part of the problem as well, then may be this accident would not have happened as the driver would not have been approved to be on the road.

The goverment of Canada should control immigrant. Brampton have lots of Indian and the problem is this when I got my Canadiane citizenship people who took their oath were wearing their national costume. One more thing when my daughter was taking her test one person was being interview that can’t even speak english.???

I have had many interesting experiences at the Indian Consulate. But fortunately no one screamed at me! When my late beloved Mother passed away, I took the the tried and tested method which always works in India, my good friend had a friend who knew the Vice Consul at the Embassy, I was discreetly taken into his office, where I showed them my last Indian Passport, and within 20 minutes my American Passport was stamped with an Indian Visa. In the meanwhile my contact was engaged in a friendly conversation with the Vice Council. \nThe problem with our Consulates abroad are, they are understaffed. And with the growing numbers of our diaspora in these countries, they are unable to handle the huge workload. And we are not the most polite people on the planet. Hence both sides tend to get into frequent clashes. On the other hand I have been into other nation Consulates, here they all have a system, and an online form filing program that is user friendly and easy to fill out. Everything works like clockwork. In some countries the Indian Consulates do offer emergency services even on weekends.

While what u said is mostly true, I'd like to add that the top 10% indians dont immigrate to Canada coz the quality of life has degraded there.Your problem isn't too many indian immigrants, issue is too many underqualified indians. Don't allow just anyone to immigrate in your country. Allow only the best. Those who dont get into best Indian/ best US universities go to Canada.

Hello I'm a Christian. I think it's unacceptable to want more Islam in a Judeo Christian country. The secular government has already abused Christians in many ways, so much so that Christianity in Canada is dwindling. Sadly we have extremely weak leaders in Canada. Our Canadian young people thanks to DEI can’t find summer work so they can afford the next semester at school. They came under false pretences. The Liberal government will likely find some form of permit extension for about a year or 2, because to initiate any form of deportation will look bad politically. I just watched a bus get dropped off at an immigration visa service place by my kids school. Follow the money and see the problem b who’s making money off of people from conflict countries who would do anything for a change of location. I’ll bet that organization making 10k a head so dam right there’s incentive for them to operate. Upsettingly enough they usually aren’t originally from here and therefore even more capital leaving the country under the guise of “helping” is it safe here , for now, but the only jobs available are minimum wage fast food or entry level positions. So only come to Canada if you’re good with paying more for less and then getting taxed significantly.
