I love this. I’m also Canadian and have two young daughters and have had the same thoughts in my mind. I’d like to move to a Muslim country so badly!

How about this, let's enforce European customs and culture on Muslims in Europe? How about that huh?

I move from one country to another every five years because of the nature of my job. As a practising Muslim with children here are some of the countries I’ve lived in which you guys should consider :\n- Turkey is very developed and your family will have to make less adjustments in terms of quality of life. If you can speak Turkish then you are good to go.\n-Morocco has a very rich culture and the economy is relatively stable.\n- Malaysia is beautiful and has great community sense. Very helpful people. The main adjustment will be with the eastern culture which is very conservative. The cuisine is also very unique.\n- Qatar and UAE are both similar in the sense that finding jobs won’t be a problem and lots of people understand and speak english. Also these two countries are developed and the \n education standards are the highest I have seen in countries following sharia. Also these countries are less strict than Saudi Arabia which is my native country. I really hope you two \n aren’t considering it. Your girls will not grow up happy in Saudi. Trust a women who has done it. I love my religion but inshallah no child should go through that environment because her \n parents were attracted to the holy land.\n-Lastly this is a rather outlier in this list but you should consider India. There are mosques everywhere in almost every city and even the Hindus fondly wake up to the azaan. Most \ninclusive non-Muslim country I have lived in. My children loved it. We lived in one of the many Muslim communities near a mosque in a city called Hyderabad which was ruled by a Muslims for hundreds of years. Even though they have their own languages nearly everyone speaks english. The schools are great. The police create spaces for Muslims to worship on the roads so that traffic doesn’t disturb them. Very inclusive and the city itself is beautifully developed. The job market is great and it is a very affordable place to raise a family.\n\nI hope you guys check these places out. I’ve only listed the countries which I felt were the best options but I’ve lived in almost all the countries with a sizeable Muslim population. Best wishes to you folks from the Sayyid family. Muslim Somali Canadian American here…I couldn’t agree more with y’all reasons…ever since Oct. 7th, my family & I have made the conscious decision to do the same pronto!

This is the best, I wish I could do Hijra with my whole family and go to Indonesia or in any Islam country. \nAs a Muslim this is our duty to do Hijra to a Muslim nation

I know taking this decision was hard for you, but I am sooo happy you are leaving Canada and coming to a Muslim country. Yes, there are many downsides in muslim countries as well, but it all comes down to what you are willing to give up on, and I belive you are chosing to hold on to what actuallymatters. I hope you find the perfect place for you. I have a feeling it will be the best decision ever????

Even though I became Muslim only since mid March, I’ve been considering making the Hijra to a Muslim country Insha’Allah. I can’t relate to living in cold weather conditions being in Southern California, but I can relate to everything else. \n\nI’m not married. Insha’Allah one day I will. But I think about the safety my wife will have going out in public in her hijab. Insha’Allah I’ll have kids and I wonder about the indoctrination going on in society. \n\nBut the biggest thing for me is living in the US and knowing that whoever is in charge will endorse genocide. And for a country that prides itself on free speech, yet we see that speech being limited when it comes to standing up for what’s right. I actually had a feeling that was going to be your number one reason before you got to it.\n\nI can’t make this happen right now but Insha’Allah in the next few years, be able to work on it so it can happen.

Turkey, malaysia, indonesia, qatar, dubai these countries are nice and muslim friendly❤

(I hope you read this)\nOkay i have a few suggestions, having lived my whole childhood in Oman i can confirm it’s a beautiful place but Arab country's higher education(college wise) is not that great therefore ,my family moved to India(our roots are Indian) because this being a reason. (Like a lot of families move from gulf countries to their south asian countries for college,having personally experienced as well as my cousins who lived in Jeddah and loads of other relatives)\n1. So pls look for muslim countries that offer good education otherwise you will have to send them again to UK USA Canada for good college.\n2. Abu Dhabi can be a option as well\n3. Saudi Arabia\n4.Qatar\n5. Turkey\n6. Schooling works differently in gulf countries, for example you have Indian schools that run on the CBSE pattern of India, Pakistani schools, Sri Lankan schools, International School with a British curriculum, International schools with American style curriculum, proper Native schools of that country that teach in Arabic.( Again this my experience in Oman, my cousins in Jeddah went to Indian school of Jeddah, so pls wisely choose the school that you want your children to attend)\n\n(this comment is just an opinion, hope it helps. i started to practice islam in 2009 while living in spain. and left it in 2010 and relocated to turkey. would never go back. love spain and keep my best memories of living there. but now i have three kids and need to think about them first. and i think that a muslim should live in a muslim environment. istanbul is like a european city but with adhan and people who wont harass you for your religion.

Strong Muslim nations with honest leaders can save muslims living in unfavourable western countries...they can come to Muslim countries

Maybe you won't read this comment, but I'm from Uzbekistan??????. If you are looking for peace, mostly populated by muslims, cheapest and cleanest country, then you should check it out. And we are close to Pakistan, so you can visit your relatives. Also, we have lots of masjids?. Honestly, i think its very underrated ?. We have beautiful ancient cities you can visit.

I loved when you said about your first reason. Move because of your religion because of your Muslim brothers and sisters because of injustice of your government towards Palestinian. You leave to please Allah and Allah will never let you down. Wish you and your family all the best.

I’m leaving England to move somewhere that the very idea of a “Muslim community” is ridiculous…they hate us, they don’t want to integrate, they want to take over….it’s as simple as that!

You should do what is best for your family. But I don't really understand your first reason. As much as Western countries are complicit in what is happening, so are many Muslim countries like UAE, Saudi, Bahrain. And I assume you are definitely planning to move to one of the countries in the Gulf. Leaving aside the government, I have seen more support for the Palestinian cause among the general population in the West that in my whole life in a Middle East country. I was born and brought up in the Middle East. I learnt more about the Palestinian cause infact living in a Western country now. Living in a gulf country, I have infact seen less regards for the underprivileged amongst my Arab friends that I see amongst western people. It is true I am a good Muslim living in a Middle East country, but I realise I am a better human being because I live now in a Western country.

May Allah guide you and your family. We are truly living in difficult times and it is even hard to find a place which is safe for muslims to bring up their young. I would suggest somewhere like qatar as their schooling does not have include what muslims fear, although many schools in qatar and the middle east use the western curriculum and are being westernised. Perhaps homeschooling in a muslim country is the best and ideal solution. I know even non muslims who are fear for their kids now and are moving away ….

Canadian government dont really listen to Muslims and do not care about what they want and ask for. We vote in this country, pay taxes, contribute to the economy and still there is no one to listen our voice, and they support genoci** with our tax money.

Hai..i think all of your worries will easily disappear if u come n move to Malaysia??.. first of all we don't have winter season as u wanted.. secondly we are multi culture country with many races n ethnique people lives together like malay+Chinese+indian etc lives in harmony n respect of each other beliefs n background..Malaysian are friendly people n humble..also the easiest country to access halal food everywhere because 60% or more of the population is Muslim..so u can also practice Islamic education here .. n importantly even though we are multi cultures we still can practice our religion peacefully n respectfully..in fact we had our mosques, temple n churches besides each other..n when comes to celebrate holidays, we celebrate Ramadan, Eid, Christmas,thaipusam, deepavali or other celebration together respectfully regardless of our races.. Malaysia also a tropical country so u can enjoy modern city n nature together just in one country.. n lastly I think economically u guys can afford to living or retired here considering dollar are more higher than ringgit Malaysia..so financially I think its everything affordable here ..

The reality is how many Muslims face discrimination in the west. All Muslims are subject to some kind of harassment.

I completely agree and cosign with this. Canada is not anymore a living place especially for muslims. You perfectly nailed it and these are all the reason that i would like to leave this country. It is so hard to live here, there is no enjoyment, we work full time and cant even save to go on vacation and experience new things.

In first place why arab world should support Palestine because they are Muslims, but there are Christians also let the European and Christians countries support also,?

If you can afford it, Saudi Arabia is the best place for muslims.

Good decision brother...muslim should try to live in muslim countries...it would be much easier to relive in khalifah administration...every muslim should think to live in muslim country

Hi, we live in Luxembourg and are practising muslims and have a kid. yes, indeed it is very difficult to raise a kid with Islamic values in this society. also, it's challenging to practise for ourselves as well. we don't want to be liberal muslims, rather a true muslim. but that's difficult. so we are considering to move to a middle eastern country in a couple of years InshAllah. thanks in advance for sharing your journey, good luck to you wherever you choose to live❤?

Hi guys you guys are making good decision we moved 2 years ago because of our kids and the hatred of the Muslim community we moved to Jordan and Jordanian people are amazing very welcome the school is top 10 my kids the read right and speak Arabic I suggest you guys look in to it inshallah you guys find the best place

Would the Saleh family are willing to give up the canadian/European passports...and lets know which muslim country passport would they like ....some muslim countries don't give immigration or citizenship

Never mind what the imams say, it's all directed by sermons in mosques. ALL YOUNG GIRLS RAPED BY MUSLIM MEN OCURED IN MUSLIM AREAS as do drug gangs, human trafficking, criminality of every kind.

Regardless of all that I'd still say I want to live in a Muslim country, even if I leave my own country and work abroad, us and Canada isn't worth it. So much hate and so so much ignorance

I respect your decision to move and it is totally relatable as a Muslim living in the UK' but like where are you moving?

I lived in Canada for 5 years (1978-1983) as a student and the environment there then was a big challenge for practising Muslims. I never went back after that.

Consider republic Islamic of Mauritania though I can't say it's the best choice but not that bad for children islamic education. Dubai is a great choice but I am not sure there's a librity of speech in golf cities or countries in general. UK is very good I saw that many people went there after being bullied as Muslims in Sweden or afraid that their children will be took away from them. It has a great islamic comunity. Hongkong is good too for its international schools but liberty of speech again is a problem.

Guys please research about Singapore As This County is the best this County help to give aid to Palestine also And theirs no road protesting and Singapore Law is very justice law like they stay harmony with the Muslims here and With Malaysia Is their Good friend country also \nWe have lots of tons of Masjid here Masjid And Big Mosque also Well the azaan is not very loud but they r many Mosque here Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are Muslim Egyptian family, living in Berlin. we are considering the same move. same reasons almost exactly. I would advice you to check these countries in our list\n\n- Spain (mainly Barca); Weather, HUGE Muslim heritage, great stand against the genocide in Palestine, easier language to learn for english speakers.\n- Qatar (mainly Doha): Palestine, weather (a bit hot though), living quality, Muslim economic powerhouse.

I've seen some mischievous interviewers ask if Islam is so great why come here and not stay in Islamic countries. Now see Muslims packing up to go and look for an Islamic environment to live peacefully in. I wish you peace of mind in your search and new destination. Can I suggest Turkey or Singapore.

Türkiye is a great option I think, there are a lot of muslims from the west living in Türkiye. \nThey have left their home countries due to same reasons you mention.

You are right, all over the world there's inflation but in Canada there's no savings, huge tax, no job security all over Canada, where we can get lay off after years of hard work in a company. Canada encourages people to be in debts, tons of credit cards. As a Muslim I think the same for the upbringing of kids in Canada which is very difficult almost impossible. May Allah help the Muslims community in Canada, giving us guidance and contenant. You are bless that you take a goid decision at the right time. May Allah help you and make things easy for you❤
