Would you say the same for US too ? Yes, Canada isn't able to take load of more people and policies aren't evolving but showing the videos of particular places and calling the whole country horrible, is same as showing population and poverty problems in india calling it poor country. Healthcare is problematic because there are not many people qualified to do jobs. In the end. if you hate struggle, tough life, foreign countries are no place cos you are starting from zero. Leaving comfort zone and moving out is always challenging. Those who moved out earned good money and came back to India are happier now cos they have the money to function in india and international exposure. It depends where you are in life now and what you are leaving behind. Indian universities are great, and studies are top-notch. However unemployment is still big issue. Do your research, evaluate your options and take a call. And if it didn't work out you can always go back.

My friend was earning 25LPA here as software Engineer in a big MNC, he left the job and earning same as watchman over there for a software company and pursuing masters in Canada.

The BIG reason Montreal is so cheap is because it’s in French speaking Quebec. As soon as you go outside Montreal - you better speak perfect French or people will despise you - literally. All the other major Canadian cities are experiencing similar issues as major American cities. I am very well travelled.

I’ll give my honest opinion. I have stayed in Canada for 3 years from 2018 - 2021 during which I have also worked there. The good thing about that country is almost no pollution and less population and the people are also friendly. However, the costs of housing, medical and other expenses have risen considerably and it’s very difficult to save money and enjoy life freely. The big cities like Toronto and Vancouver are out of reach for the students in terms of rent. Also my own roommate was a victim of crime as 2 college students robbed him and fortunately he only suffered minor injuries. There is also shortage of jobs due to recession. Even though there are many problems in India but in today’s time the best country to live is India!! ????

5:56, although most information is correct, you can still afford home in some small cities and towns with lesser salary. Of course, you may not get a new luxurious house, but you can still afford a house (if available). The information you provided is true for bigger cities like Toronto or Vancouver, but people are now moving out of these big cities to a smaller town which are cheaper.

Being of indian origin, i fee the same about brampton. But i wonder if the Italians feel the same about Woodbridge. Jews feel the same about neighborhoods in thornhill, Chinese feel the same about Markham and Richmondhill. The short answer is 'No'. Or should i say they have not been made to feel that way. But the big question is why is this sort of one sided narrative being allowed to be streamed in Canada. The bigger question to ask is what the natives think about all this.

As a Native in a big city stuff is bad, they are not assimilating, actually they are forcing US TO ASSIMILATE TO THEM. They are flexing just how much power they have by discriminating and only hiring or renting their own race, they have inflitrated every level of government and have absoloutely 0 loyalty to our country. As a Native I have never been racist toward before UNTIL these people started showing up, they don’t say thank you, they don’t hold the door open, they just don’t like or respect us.

Both my wife and I are the children of immigrants. When our parents came, they brought their culture and assimilated it to Canadian culture. Modern immigrants simply refuse to do that now. Canada is just a giant club of ethnic groups all doing their own thing without any sort of patriotism or culture to unite us. The construction industry has seen an almost 4,000% increase in immingrant workers. Lowering our rates, wages, producing sub par products and making it more dangerous. This idoocracy has to stop! Just stumbled on your video . \nI would add that at what phase of life you make such big move also matters a lot. \nIt would have been different story if you would have moved 10 yrs back when you were at start of your career and not with 1 to 1.5Cr salary and when your kids where still in elementary school and not grown up. \nMoving anywhere is a huge life changing event and to different country, it is a huge cultural shock, so it not easy for anyone for initial 1-2 yrs.\nIt was lot different 2 decades back and now it doesn’t make any sense to even move out of India. Applying for Canada PR was a thing of past now, not lucrative anymore for skilled couple.Just my 2 cents on this topic.

I live in Quebec and out there and the ROC, I am freaking out how more and more people struggle to make ends meet and survive - just the Housing problem alone, it is freaking obscene and it is no longer a big city problem. I hail from a city in Northern Quebec and out there, many people have to say goodbye to the dream of owning their home. Vancouver and Toronto are out of control, Montreal is following suit. You know it is bad when more and more Canadians consider moving to Mexico or Portugal, like Americans. On my side, I am kind of pessismistic and upset, to think I might never have my own house in my own country (Quebec, that is).

Can new immigrants stop settling in big cities? Canada is massive and there are many others towns ! Invest in housing and enlarge the towns to live.

The $2 million home doesn't look small to me.. maybe that's the American 'everything needs to be huge thing'.. for a lot of people having a huge home isn't more important than which part of the world you want to be in. Lots of wealthy Europeans and New Yorkers live in apartments and like where lived.. I liked the video but that bit sounded so elitist (or out of touch). I am an immigrant as well. Came to Canada in 2005 as permanent resident and little became citizen. However, what is happening is mind blowing. They are replacing us. I got layoff from my job last year and was replaced by an Indian. The funny thing is that, the big bosses of this company are Indians, so all they do is hire more Indians of their kinds while laying off the Canadian citizens. This is not fair. We all want to make a living, but that's not the case.

The only way I see societies in the future surviving is where the government gives universal income because as you pointed out in your video growth in the private sector is really diminishing mostly in part to macroeconomic affects and technological advancement... soon it only will take 10 people to do what 1000 people did say 20 years ago.... the reason the public service is so big is the government trying to cover up that fact...and this can only last so long. My prediction and hope is for a universal income to help people survive. - otherwise you fact societal collapse through low birth rates and increased crime and corruption.

Been working with a lot of immigrants and the ones who complain the most… tend to have the same mentality. They apply for every social assistance program possible, they are very demanding, and often live outside of their means. Buying expensive cars and traveling often. My family immigrated here in the 90’s as refugees and both my parents worked hard. They never took out any handouts. If you need it, get it. The big difference is the mentality. Most of my parent’s friends were the same. Came to Canada with the mentality to work hard and get a better life.

The house prices will go down when people stop buying them. As long as there are people who can afford to pay what the homeowner wants, they will NOT go down. That's how a free market works. This video is 100% true.. where I live the majority of immigrants are Indian. I have nothing against them seeking better lives but in my opinion they need to do better screening. In my building alone there are 3 units, 2 of which are rented by Indian students. One is 4 bedroom 2 bath and other is 3 bedroom 1 bath there are no joke 16 people in both. I’ve made friends with multiple of them and they had no issue telling me they came here to work and live and barely attended any classes. If this keeps up we are in big trouble.
