100%. Not just students. Many industries are complaining about this. Logistics companies are the main issue as Sask is a problem maker as well issuing zero license for temp foreign farm workers just after the Humboldt crash. BC allowing foreign investment and stopping it cold turkey. These foreign investors have moved inward where they will continue to manipulate the economy until canada makes harsher sentencing for foreign interference and investment. We need more incentives and laws to keep manufacturing in Canada instead of allowing 3rd world outsourcing.

Being Indian, I think your government should have clear mapping between immigrant and value she is adding to economy. It wasn't like this 8 years ago and there's so many people of a certain demographic that outnumbers the others. Now, it's really hard to find a part-time job as student and our healthcare system is plummeting as well. Why we keep accepting them when we can't even afford to help our own citizens? This current government needs to step-down now; we don't speak for them. The fact that these people are able to rally in our country is absurd and they don't even have the rights in our country. This shows how weak the Canadian law is. They don't respect us and they mock our system.

It has nothing to do with Canadian culture..it is about the insecurity the Canadians have from South Asian immigrants that they will take over Canada, just because of their hunger for success. Ask any immigrant from India, he would be working 2-3 jobs while locals do not want to work. Ever wondered why employers want Indian students to work at Tim Hortons and grocery stores rather than Canadian kids??? Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. As a retired community college teacher I can attest to this so called 'international (immigration) students circumventing the legal system with the Government complicity, which by the way makes the afore mentioned colleges richer to the detriment to this country economy because is it not sustainable to have so many people with mediocre skills at best to inflate the labour work force artificially. Trudeau is using mass immigration to prop up his historic housing bubble. He's admitted that he needs them to create a housing shortage to keep prices high so boomers don't lose their retirement (which is basically all in housing). Clearly Trudeau has no plan for the next generation who won't even have a house for their retirement.

As an immigrant and now a proud Canadian citizen I firmly believe that Canadians comes first. Full stop. This whole issue falls not just on these students but also on the feds who abused the international education route to bring in more people and make it lenient so they get more votes and keep winning elections but it backfired. This happened in the UK about 10 years ago. All these fake immigration consultancies and mediocre colleges should be shut down so these folks don't throw all their money into this hoping to get a PR. Most of these students can't even form a sentence in English. Yet somehow they get here. We have a massive hole in our immigration system. I hope this changes if and when Pierre takes over.
