I am currently in Waterloo, Ontario. Definitely Canada is one of the beautiful country. However, the points you mentioned in this video are infinite percent correct. Sometimes, Canadians get fed up so much of seeing Indian students and they start abusing us. It certainly is not correct. But, some students literally occupy, do parties with loud music and act as if they own the place which riles up the natives. In addition, the health care is not responsive. The doctors are so scared of loosing their license that they do not even care of other than their patients (even if some one is in emergency). This is very scary. Sometimes, I think, India is so much better in health care.

Canadians: Why are we always ignored? Whenever Canadians are ignored they start denigrating America and they won't stop complaining until you say Canadians are better than Americans..

I been in Canada since age 11 and now 48. It is great to be part of both sides as I m an Indian born but got best of both countries and values. I work for a very large company and I feel I treated fairly and with utmost respect. Fact is Canada was hard for me when I started school from grade 6 to grade 10. I then changed schools and I was not bullied and face racist people. I went to diverse school. So diversity is good. Now my kids grew up here and feels at home but now there so many Indians here and clearly people here are annoyed and racism is become quiet high. I was verbally abused by strangers with racist slurs in the last few months. When I go shopping I been getting picked on by strangers at least 5 to 6 years the last 5 years or so. But now people don’t care and they act more and more racist. Indians sending there kids here should be aware of this. Also kids from India come here and try to do parties and drugs also. This becoming common. There is also many idiots from Punjab also. Many have criminal and drug and alcohol problems and they bring it here. It’s getting quiet messy. The government issues visa without checking peoples background. It’s madness. Stay safe. Canada is good country but the risks are also there now.

When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.

The city distance thing is so true, in my “little” city, when I was 15 I met this dude who lived 5 miles of south of me, when I first started going to his area, it felt like a completely different city, Their was so many restaurants and places that I never heard of and The culture in the city actually felt different (even though it’s a suburban city)

They should adopt our culture! That lady said it all! I’m an immigrant in Canada myself, been here for almost three years. I always tell my wife and kid “we’re the outlanders, we MUST adapt to the local culture and customs!” I put soccer aside and started learning about hockey, I started listening to Canadian rock bands (great, btw), I read two biographies about Terry Fox, Arctic expeditions, geography, etc. Despite my wife still getting along mostly with people from our mother country, I refuse to be part of these clans!

The problem is with how immigration is set up. The general population is ok with immigration as long as most people coming in adapt at least somewhat to Canadian culture while integrating their own.\n\nI'd say thats what Trudeau had/has in mind cause thats what Montreal is like. \nBut its like that cause the Quebec government focuses on secularism & French Nationality which creates a sort of blended dynamic that's still uniquely Quebecois.\n\nThat doesnt work so well in other Provinces.\n\nAlternately, the goverment may be trying to turn Canada into a true melting pot, which would create a different Canadian culture and identity than we currently have. \n\nHowever, that only works out when you bring in an equal # of people from different Countries wnd ethnicities.\n\nWhat we have right now is a system that seems to bring a certain percentage of immigrants per Country. Using that math, India and China will always send out more people as they're the most populous and crowded. Hence why Eastern Canada has a lot of Indian immigrants and Western has a lot of Chinese.\n\nThe government will need to get a handle on it and at least even it out if not also slow the flow, lest we risk a rise in xenophobia/isolationism and racism which has already started to make the rounds.

I moved to USA with my wife in 2022. Initially we felt very good being in a developed country. But eventually we started seeing the realty. In movies, USA is shown as the perfect place to be. Cops, healthcare, services, quality of life, everything. We reality is opposite. So many homelessness, theft, cops won't even take action, car breaks, expensive healthcare. I was shocked that USA isn't as perfect as advertised! The loneliness is so bad that US surgeon general declared loneliness as epidemic!! Mental health issues, so much depression, drugs. What is mental health I got to know only after being in USA. Seeing the reality of USA, me and my wife decided to move back to India in early 2024. We have started appreciating India alot! The kind of growth India is witnessing in last 10 years is mindboggling. Infact India is much ahead of USA in many things. Honestly we felt we downgraded our lifestyle when we moved to USA.

This video is exclusively for students and people who are going without any research. I was on temp visa and got PR in a year. Dru*s is a problem every big city in US too. Would you say the same for US too ? Yes, Canada isn't able to take load of more people and policies aren't evolving but showing the videos of particular places and calling the whole country horrible, is same as showing population and poverty problems in india calling it poor country. Healthcare is problematic because there are not many people qualified to do jobs. In the end. if you hate struggle, tough life, foreign countries are no place cos you are starting from zero. Leaving comfort zone and moving out is always challenging. If you're in your early 20s and you believe in yourself that you can MAKE IT and pay back the fees to the bank or your parents then, I highly recommend coming to Canada, the USA, or the UK. Travel to different places, learn new languages, explore different cultures and meet new people. Eventually, when you feel ready to settle down, choose the place you liked the most or return to your home country. But until then, embrace the journey and wander.

Canada is the most beautiful country in the world that’s its usp , again we Indians can learn something from Canada is the way they preserved their nature that is remarkable that gives them good oxygen rich air , water and hygiene that Indian people are far away or never witnessed in their life. Along with that Canada has strong tax system you really get tax return as well as strong labour protection act that guards its resident from exploitation and employees can sue the employer if exploitation is provable on table with facts. India doesn’t have any strong labour protection body this results even in corporate jobs you have to work more than 8 hours and no OT , plus Canada has EI (employment insurance) so that means is , if you loose your job for any reason you will get government assistance to help to pay your bills till you find your next job. Plus disability benefits , food banks , freedom to live your life the way you want, you can eat what you want, religion based stupidity doesn’t exist in that country. So yes it’s true I don’t like the Canadian PM either but overall Canada is really good country and we Indians can learn atleast some good things they carry and adapt to our country and make India bit better place to live. The moment some says truth we Indians start bashing and may say go to Canada but we don’t realize our own problems and don’t wanna work.

Not comparing apples to apples. Amazon returns, education, drugs, labour issues continue in not just Canada, but also US. I was really lucky to visit Toronto in 2000-2002 and practice some Portuguese and Italian. The first time, I came by train from Chicago and arrived at 1 AM. I was scared as I waited for the trolley on Dundas St. But to my surprise there was a young lady enjoying the late night and she even talked to me (something that wouldn't happen in Southern CA). I discovered that if was safe to walk until 2 AM in Toronto. It was really pleasant to explore Little Portugal, Chinatown and other neighborhoods. I remember that it hit the 30s with some humidity, but the reward was taking a bus to Niagara Falls at 50% off for being a student. However, I was sad to discover that the old transportation is gone, and prices have skyrocketed (food and hotels). It's not just Covid-19, but the corruption of thousands of politicians in NorthAmerica that have started wars and the flow of drugs and people. I would never think that Canada could change so drastically. But I still think that Toronto could be enjoyable ( what I really didn't like was the subway, since the stations are far away from important sites as opposed to Montréal that is so convenient). I still remember how Pearson airport was enjoyable to walk. But to see encampments like LA, SD or SF in Toronto is really sad. Hopefully, in the near future it gets cleaned up. You can't destroy what took decades to build and admire in a few years. Safety is always a concern in 2024, but Toronto is much better than CA.

As a Native in a big city stuff is bad, they are not assimilating, actually they are forcing US TO ASSIMILATE TO THEM. They are flexing just how much power they have by discriminating and only hiring or renting their own race, they have inflitrated every level of government and have absoloutely 0 loyalty to our country. As a Native I have never been racist toward before UNTIL these people started showing up, they don’t say thank you, they don’t hold the door open, they just don’t like or respect us.

Fact: Make 250-300k and come to India or Bangladesh, You can get a land and build your own home, a car and will have enough money left to start a business. You can live a luxurious life!

Get the immigration issue under control. Only bring in the amount that Canada can sustain, and start seriously demanding that they have (or are willing to obtain) skills Canada can benefit from. In addition, immigrants don't get their education paid for with Canadian tax dollars either!

Just stumbled on your video . \nI would add that at what phase of life you make such big move also matters a lot. \nIt would have been different story if you would have moved 10 yrs back when you were at start of your career and not with 1 to 1.5Cr salary and when your kids where still in elementary school and not grown up. \nMoving anywhere is a huge life changing event and to different country, it is a huge cultural shock, so it not easy for anyone for initial 1-2 yrs.\nIt was lot different 2 decades back and now it doesn’t make any sense to even move out of India. Applying for Canada PR was a thing of past now, not lucrative anymore for skilled couple.Just my 2 cents on this topic.
