Brother, you are lucky that you got a part-time job in Canada Post. I have been in Canada for 7 years and I started working in a Hasty Market for $4 an hour and that was night shifts. I have spent days without drinking water, food is way far. Today I have my family here (Wife and Brother) and I always smile when I think about the day I spent without water. This time will never come back so please enjoy.

Dear video maker , it's nothing new in your life in Canada. Even people around the world including local people and local students are doing same . And it's nothing new to travel 2 or 3 hours in bus . People who stays in USA from ages are travelling same in car . Every students are expecting same life with them who are living in foreign from ages . Those people might had struggled more . Student has to understand before going on Student visa that with situations rather than keeping intrest in how to make money. 99 % students are interested in only money from day one .But foreign governments think that you have shown your financial documents, are enough for you to survive there even if you have no Job . And it's depends on the country, in which country you have gone and what is your qualification. If students go to UK or USA , thay might make little more money comparing to Canada, Australia or New Zealand. All students should understand before going to any country that only in USA AND UK country are the best to earn money and getting out money from there to india. Otherwise except these two countries none country is there in the world that you can make money there and send maximum money to india. Except these two countries other countries have made situation that whatever you earn there , you will have to spend in that country only. You can't save money to india for living good life in India. And it is good and thankful those countries where person after 18 years has go for job rather than being dependent on parents. And working in bakery with standing whole hours during job is not a new in those English country. They don't force to do that by law . This job is kind of that. Person has to understand job profile before joining the job . By English country law before you start job they will call you for induction and will explain what job you have to do . Life person is happy for that job , he / she can join the job . I think specially students has to look into positive things which in India students are not doing and thay have to do there in foreign countries. I am not trolling you but look into students life where local students in foreign are living and same. If you think this is struggling life then I can say this is not struggling life , students has to think first if they have gone for study or making money from first day. If you are complaining than my suggestion is that look into positive things and if you are just informing that it's good. Good luck

People think that living in foreign countries us good and relaxing and you enjoy a lot. Well this is not true. I have one of my friends who told me the way he lives and works and studies in Canada. Believe me, you won't like to hear what he told me. He does two part time jobs starting from morning to afternoon at 3 and does another one from 4 to 8 and he barely gets 4 to 5 hours to study. At times when there are exams or tests in the college, he has to skip the work and go to the College but when he skips, he feels from deep inside that for today I don't have even this amount of money and believe me, staying in Canada or any other county is not as easy as eating a plate of rice and on the first time when you go to look for a job, you will get it at McDonald's or any type of restaurants. And the work my friend does is to cut meat at McDonald's in Canada.

Canada wants and needs people like that family who are here only to make a decent living and do not want to make trouble for us canadians...we are not racists but we don't like the muslims because they keep asking for special favors that are denied for us canadians and that is getting on the nerves of the population and Trudeau is the one responsible for this because he's the one who invited them over and now we are stuck with them because they are making trouble for us like they do all over the other countries who greeted them!!!But we intend to correct the situation by voting Trudeau and his liberals OUT and start cleaning up our country so it's livable again!

I remember when my family immigrated here over 15+ years ago and my brother was only 1 years old. 2 weeks after coming here he slipped on the floor and cut open his forehead on the hinges of our door and he was bleeding everywhere (he later had to get 6 stitches to fix it), my father was out working and we didn't know how to contact the police or hospital because we didn't have a home phone yet. We used our neighbors and the ambulance came and I strictly remember that because we didn't have our health cards yet they wouldn't start work even though my father said he will pay when he gets there. I remember my mother and I feeling helpless while my 1 year old brother was bleeding out (the hospital staff tried to stop the bleeding with cotton ball and bandage) and I distinctly remember that they did not start helping my brother even WHILE my father was paying but only started work after the bill was completed. Even though my family felt helpless at that time and we felt it was unfair, we never blamed Canada because it was their policy and they have every right to follow protocols. So it makes me angry to see people who walked into our country illegally getting far better treatment than my family ever got even though it might not be anything as life threatening as ours was. It makes me angry that our hard earned tax dollars are used to help people who have no motivation to help the country that gave them asylum during war.. It's actually the opposite as a lot of these families call their free housing "disgusting" and compare it to "living like a slave". I'm angry because little girls at my brothers own school are getting shoved and assaulted by refugee boys as young as 6-7 and are let off with a simple "don't do that again" and a meeting with the parents. This is not the Canada my family came to love and call home so I can't imagine the hardships of Canadians who are living here for 3, 4, 5+ generations 😔😔

Nice Video but such misleading comments by people. No you cant afford everything with the minimum wage. People here are doing 2 jobs a day. Only skilled resources make good money, but they dont want to put in the same effort in India. I am in Canada too, making good. Before I moved to Brampton, I had no idea HOW MANY Indians actually lived here. I'm of south Asian descent but I grew up here as a Canadian. I still keep my culture but I'm Canadian FIRST. It's true too, some of them don't believe in deodorant, holy shit I literally had to tell a guy who sat beside me on the bus that he smelled. I know it was rude but if someone doesn't tell these people, they will think not wearing deodorant is normal. I miss the Canada I grew up in. My friends were mostly white but there was a nice mix of us: white, black, asian so we all got along. Today, everyone is in their own groups, strangers are the enemy, there is so much more segregation than there has ever been. Not long ago at a Tim Hortons I heard an Indian guy who was clearly new to the country telling his friend he didn't have to learn English because everyone in Brampton speaks Punjabi, it was insulting hearing that.....Listen up Indians and any immigrants coming here: BEFORE you come here, learn English, LEARN the customs and learn the CANADIAN WAY. The way you need to do these things is not to show up on the border, but to apply from where you are. He started by being illegal in the U.S., rather than actually applying for entry as a refugee. Then, years later, he showed up on the border of Canada, again without first applying. All nations must have laws that are enforced, else you have anarchy.
