Canada, where we are told to go green, while they tear down millions of trees. Where we pay taxes on used items that other people paid taxes on already, In BC, where we pay the highest booze prices, where the working man struggles, while Counceller's and politicians buy $200 wine, on our money. Where heritage houses are torn down, where we are becoming a minority, where land and older homes are disappearing for million-dollar homes with a small patch of grass. Surrey B.C. has become little India. Wildlife murdered through development; no wildlife assessments being done anymore. B.C. the province of monopoly, high car insurance. Where government attacks on the homeless instead of helping. I see more and more homeless and drug usage. More litter in the streets. Canada the socialist country. Canada with laws that protects immorality. Say one bad thing go to jail. Canadian government, they freeze peoples bank accounts. Canada has political prisoners, Tamara Lich (Trucker Convoy). Canada where they sell horses to be slaughtered in other countries, Canada, where dog meat is legal. Canada soon to be another China. Canada one of the most expensive places to live in the world!

For those that says that Canada Sucks, go to Any country in Latin America and you will test the ugly truth, if we compare those Hispanic countries with Canada, CANADA IS THE PARADISE, I've been living many years in Mexico, and let me tell you something, taxes are really high there as well, in any job they fire you with no previous advise, and about safety is on the floor, d4ed people everyday, g@nsh0ts, m4f!a, k!dn4p!ng in every normal day, you cannot go out alone in the night or at any hour, so Canada is not perfect but is much more better than docenes of other countries, including European countries....

Right now is probably the worst time to come here. With global recession and post-pandemic hardship, everyone is feeling the pinch. Small businesses are closing down as they could not repay back the relief loans given by the government during the pandemic. Trudeau’s policy of immigration through the educational stream and admitting so many refugees from Syria and Ukraine have caused massive rent increase - too many people chasing after lower real estate supply. Because people are feeling the pinch, crimes are up and homelessness has become a serious issue. But, here are the (long-term) advantages of living here, vs. The Philippines:\n- free healthcare - no matter how rich you are back home, wealth can be depleted if a major illness strikes;\n- free education for your kids up to highschool and opportunity for your kids to enter worldclass universities after highschool;\n- government programs that actually work - Worker rights are upheld, doleouts when you lose your job, 12-month mat/paternity leave, doleout/govt match when you save for yr kid’s university educ, tax rebates for whatever you save for retirement, retirement income even if you never held a job, infrastructures are maintained, transparency and stability of political system; \n- safer environment - yes, greater crimes lately, but still one of the safest places to live. I live in greater Toronto, and sometimes we forget to lock our door at night or leave a bicycle outside and nothing happens;\n- commitment to the environment - the country adheres to protecting the envt. You can drink water from the faucet. Strict laws on recycling and waste disposal. Greenbelt protection on forest and conservation park areas, even in the cities. Canada also has the world’s biggest water supply...in today’s global climate change, were decades away from water wars;\n- a beautiful country with friendly, humble and relaxed people who observe work-life balance

I left Canada almost 4 years ago. The quality of life outside Canada is much higher and you can actually afford to live a high quality lifestyle. Please stop politics of hatred and bloodshed. The greed for oil, gas, valuable energy resources will eventually destroy our mother earth.....a total destruction for all. No country is perfect due to so many reasons, the politics, the culture, natural resources, economic affairs, Healthcare and even the thinking pattern of inhabitants themselves. And it is natural for things to change over time in every aspect. We just need to look at these things with an open mind and make decisions. If Canada would not fulfill your desires simply stay in your homeland and may be try to make it a great place to live.

Too many immigrants and refugees are let into Canada and they expect a golden hand without realizing that Canada is a very large cold country for 6 months of the year, therefore everyone wants to live and work close too USA boarder which become so populated that the infrastructure can't keep up with the demands of the new immigrants and refugees.

Ive lived in Canada my entire life, and I am desperate to leave the country to make a better life for my family. The sad thing is, I dont see how I will ever be able to afford to leave. With two jobs working seven days a week, I cannot afford to pay all of my bills every month. I dont even own a house.

I was born and raised here. I am doing my exit plan as I cannot afford to live here as young-adult living on my own. The government knew exactly what they were doing when they allowed 9 million people to come here in a short amount of time. How can you provide billions for foreign aid but can't provide basic necessities to your own citizens? I have cut EVERYTHING extra out of my life and even while working a full-time job I cannot survive in my own country. Canada is a country for the elite, cliche style immigrants, and for the ultra wealthy who pass down intergeneration wealth. A failed health care system that provides little to no services at which you pay out of pocket to get access with private health care providers. The dereliction of duty and greed by Western leaders is everywhere not just in Canada. In Canada you can make $300,000 in a couple of months. It depends what you’re into what you can do if it’s legal or not legal but legally you can make $300,000 $400,000 up to 1 million a year if you know what you’re doing and you have the opportunity to do it as a bottom of the food chain your rent is $1000 for one bedroom that you will be sharing with with complete strangers you have winter that it’s six months long it’s like you’re living in North India in the Himalayas mountains and then you have Ray schism all different type of race schism from all over Europe that came to this North American country. In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.\n\n\nTheir are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. I am a Mexican living in Mexico, I have visited Canada on several occasions and I think it is an excellent place to live. The part I don't understand about this report is: if people are leaving Canada, why is the cost of housing still high? In my opinion, the people who are now leaving Canada realized too late that they cannot afford the standard of living in a country like Canada. The same would have happened if they had emigrated to England, France, the United States or Germany. The phenomenon has more to do with the value of work than with Canada. In the last two decades the value of unskilled work has plummeted, no one can live in a moderately developed country with an unskilled job, to make matters worse, now white collar jobs have also begun to disappear. Society is simply transformed again and the effects of this transformation begin to be noticed first in those countries where life is more expensive.

You can't run a country where the cost of living is so high the an ordinary person cannot afford to live there.

It’s crazy to immigrate to all countries in EU, USA and it allies except Norway and Swiss. All those countries are consider history that they were once the dream of everybody to reside in. Now they are the worst places to live. Crimes, drug abuse, civil disobedient, incompetence politician, firearms abuse, sex maniac, joblessness, racism and all social ill that you can imagine all are swallowing up those countries. Only mad people will chooses to live in those countries.

I am one of the victims who fell for it got a study permit spent $55000 to go there and got only a certificate and was asked to leave the country after an agency scammed me and messed up my paperwork plus I was living off credit cards for my last few months. Stay away from Canada too many of us have suffered it was a horrible experience the country is in-liveable even with my office job

Im Filipino. You have a no-nonesense style of unraveling things about living in Canada. My brother in law and one newly graduate grandson are aiming for that place. Of course, inspired by their preconceptions about that country. Living in Canada for more than 33 years.\nCanada has become a country in which lazy people are rewarded and hard working people is overtaxed. Not sustainable for those hard working people. Why work hard if all gouvernements take 50% and more of your income?

It's incredible how Indians emigrate in mass from their country. It is almost like they all hate living in their country and look to end up anywhere possible but in India, like UK, Canada, Australia, USA, Germany, Singapore, UAE, etc.

I agree with all the points, as a Muslim that have been raised in Europe and living currently in Canada, I always thought that Islam was stronger here than in Europe, one of the reasons why I decided to move here, until I came to see with my own eyes scary things, mostly the indoctrination part ? omg. India brings a complete opposite religion, language and ideology to foreign countries. It’s the Indian the does not participate in community activities, and integrate into a true Canadian national identity. This refusal has ultimately resulted in Indian being discouraged and quickly blaming others for the problem they have. If rent in downtown Vancouver on the 25th floor is to expensive, maybe try moving to more rural communities in Canada, where costs are different in living. If you come from a poor punjab province in India whereas you’ve sold the farm to come , then don’t expect a downtown Toronto sky rise , 1500 square foot 17th floor underground heated parking, to be the dream destination of your vision. It’s comparable to moving from the punjab to downtown Delhi and expecting the same cost comparisons to the punjab. Unfortunately it’s not sad to see the Indian people go. Hopefully Canada will begin immigration of more cultural like minded people and more people that have religious alliances, than some completely opposite ideology than a Canadian nationalist.

I have been living in Canada for over Half a Century. The Times have certainly changed over the years. I am a citizen of this great country and raised a family here. Agree Food Housing Rents etc have skyrocketed like most countries. My take on this is why did you leave India in the first place? Now you complain. All you have to do is pack up and move back. I am a third generation person of Indian origin and never been to India. I was born and brought up in Africa and live there. We have our problems but I will never leave my country and move elsewhere. The grass is rarely greener on the other side.

I really feel for students who are scammed. But being an international students myself, and as a young adult, I did my research on the rent, job market, living costs of the city I was going to: Vancouver. I knew it wasnt gonna be easy from the get go, I struggled but dedicated to school and to my part time job. My personal experience was that most of these students do not focus on their assignments and rely on others to do their part. It was 10x more stressful and, sadly, my strategy to survive (and my friends’) school was to avoid doing school projects with students from one particular country. And worst yet, professors would turn a blind eye to this systemic situation cause I guess everyone was paying their tuition fees.

Same immigrants don't conform . They get to Canada and still live like they are in their various countries. This make the country a very confused place to live cos people do everything along their community line leading to serious racism . It makes Canada useless and fall .

LOL. People who come with very big unrealistic dreams without thinking are regrets and leaves. If you think you’re coming today and within months living in big mansion and driving Mercedes or Ferrari, that’s not possible. You have to work hard. Even harder than your own country. Because you’re starting from zero. Many people failed to understand this
