Kick these students out of Canada and let India deal with them. They didn’t go to study, just to get citizenship. Let it be a lesson.

Hey, have you noticed that even though there are a lot of Filipinos in Canada, they don't seem to get as much attention as other groups? I mean, they're the third largest nationality here, but it's like they're not really seen or heard. I wonder if anyone else feels the same way.

Little late to the conversation, but i only recently discovered this channel. I can agree with the majority of opinions in general, politics, guns, healthcare etc are all better here in Canada. Sure there may be safe pockets in the US but that’s not typically an issue in Canada. You don’t need to strategize where to live here based on that stuff, but may need to take into account the weather as it drastically varies within Canada. \nMoving to the US would typically be based on a job opportunity and likely wouldn’t provide much choice in location - go where the work is and unless it’s opening a small shop somewhere or working in a rural setting, you’re likely going to be in a bigger city where the majority of the violence is. Even so, with laws like ‘stand your ground’ you could get shit anywhere if you piss off the wring person. In Canada, you might yell at each & flip them off, then you just walk away without concern of being shot. You might get jerseyed though. ?

Dated a chick in Toronto who was from Romania. She didn’t even get her Canadian citizenship yet. Only having the residency of Canada. I tried to get her to come to America so many times and try to show her that things aren’t as bad as what you’ve probably heard in Romania/ Canada. I even was willing to move over her parents. The father is an hardworking immigrant and her mother doesn’t work. I told her the economics and she just didn’t get it. I shared her my vision, getting married etc she just didn’t get it. Smh, I truly hope Canada figures their shit out for the sake of people like them.

Over one million international student comes to Canada every mostly from punjab Indian, most of them stay and live in canada , add the couple hundreds we get as immigrants and you ll realize why canada is Turner into bombay

Yes, please stop moving to our over saturated economy. Canadas economy is not ready to sustain such a large number of immigrants. When you have an extra 451,000 people flooding in per year that require jobs in a very sparsely populated country you’re going to run into housing and job shortages, which increase demands, increasing prices and therefore increasing homeless because people can’t afford living and they can’t get a job because a requirement for being an immigrant is full time employment.

Canada is now a hub of criminals. Look at immigration policies. All khalistanis and fake refugees enter through easy immi policies. It's time to reform your policies and, instead of unskilled cheap labour immigrants , try to get educated immigrants all around the world, not just Indians.

If their intention was not studies why canada give them visa. Canada actually can take interview or has facility to reject without reason. Canada is greedy to take 5 to 6 times more money from international students and so can give facility to citizens. If person become it is OK but country become greedy it is not great for region. Canada actually even not get the best talent of india they get average talent people who are little hopeless with competition.

The problem of feeling locals as immigrants in their own country is due to addiction of drugs. So question that first. Secondly, immigrants are back bone for Canadian economy. So if we live in Canada that means we are paying taxes in our high paying jobs like physicians, IT software or establishing stores. So better not to cry on immigrants, and get a life!

It amazes me that his lawyer talks about what he and his family are going through. Im sorry but how about the families of those killed or injured in that accident, imagine the horror they have and continue to live through. This man including the owner of the company immigrated here . When you move to another country you must adapt to that country's laws. If i went to India damn certain if i broke their law i would be held to account. I feel no pitty here. Honestly you should have to drive 10 years in Canada with a G class licence and safe record in order to get your AZ. I don’t think deportation is the answer but he should have had to do a longer prison sentence, 2 years community service, never be allowed to drive that class of a vehicle and wait 5 years once released to reapply for a drivers license. Too much tax dollars already spent behind this man. The real victims will never have a voice and their families will never have closure.

Both federal and provincial governments are complicit regarding the housing shortage. They knew WELL in advance that accepting too many immigrants, and not building a matching number of dwellings for them would cause housing shortages and push up prices greatly. They also knew WELL in advance that higher housing costs would destroy discretionary income and push living standards down for the working class. There's no surprises here. I live in Bangladesh. If I want private healthcare, I can book an appointment today and possibly see the doctor this evening for $5-$7 per session. The really really good doctors? The professor / vip level ones? $10-$15.\nIf I need to do tests, I'll get em done the same day and probably get the results the day after.\n\nThe government ones? ¢10 but then I would be standing in a line for like 2 hours.\nIn my hometown alone there are 35-40 private hospitals. It's a suburb-ish kinda town. There is also one semi-giant 500 bed government hospital. Most services are free there except AC cabins.\n\nI personally don't wish to go to Canada.

Im currently 15 years old. And i wanted to go to Canada for education. I never wanted to live in America, cause every day i heard about a pretty bad police and Health care and obviously people. \nNiether go to Australia cause there are a lot of dangerous plants and animals (Im not going to lose an eye to a bird, or life to a spider). \nAnd i honestly praying that to the time i get 18-19, Canada became better. Cause i do believe that this insane crisis Canada is right now, isn't permanent. \nAll countries were in a crisis, and most pf them got out of it. Like England, France, America, Belgium and etc.

While what u said is mostly true, I'd like to add that the top 10% indians dont immigrate to Canada coz the quality of life has degraded there.Your problem isn't too many indian immigrants, issue is too many underqualified indians. Don't allow just anyone to immigrate in your country. Allow only the best. Those who dont get into best Indian/ best US universities go to Canada.

As an Indian these so called students were dumb to leave India where growth is taking place and go to Canada, I think in long run it is good if a few get dissed. Rent here is no more expensive in the US in fact probably more expensive in New York than in a city like Ottawa Toronto or Montreal. Yes Vancouver is an expensive place to live but not all of it. Tue there are many Indians. Many do really really well but what do Indian have to do with whites dying of addiction! Majority of the homeless in Canada are whites. Indians on other hand band together and survive. Thats why live appaling living conditions like 16 people living in same house. Since they are willing to do that some land do exploit them. Most of these landlords are Indian in Brampton and Chinese. However most dont complain because they are willing take pain save some money. This is heartbreaking for me personally. I’ve followed all the rules, provided excellent marks for both English and French, spent tens of thousands of dollars and seven years of work experience to get my PR. Seeing these people being granted the right to stay in Canada based on a fake admission letter is simply disgusting.

I’m an international student from China and I never worked here. My Indian classmates ruined our final project. Wearing slippers for presentations and even cannot finish a simple website, my roommates are Indians as well, and they are all good. But some students they’re not come here to study, just for work. But just keeping the balance between study and work, will make other students have bad experiences. I also want to get the PR here, but it depends on my abilities and other factors. I love country music, K-pop, and pop Jazz, I watched a documentary about Canada before I came, and I was a volunteer at the London Air Show, Comic Con, Food Bank and Ronald Macdonald House. In addition, I also help the Church group make posters and videos. You come here is to integrate local culture and accept the rules and order, you can keep your own identity a features. Don’t forget you are a foreigner, you are the guest now.
