There is a distinction between legal heavily regulated migration and illegal unregulated mass migration . I am British so as you know we are experiencing the same issue it’s honestly the lack of assimilation, a large portion of migrants essentially replicating their home culture and a lack of respect for the host culture, also as much as we dislike to acknowledge it ,some cultures are incompatible with others , that’s not racist it’s the unfortunate reality . Dear migrants you must change for Canada not Canada changing for you

People easily associate immigration as the reason for all the homeless people.\nMost of these homeless people are in this situation due to their financial condition or they are refugees.\nGo to any homeless camp, you will not find any international student ot immigrant from India there.\nImmigrants from India will be working late hours, double shifts to survive but they never beg like refugees which Canada has taken in through Roxam road or through its other refugee policies. \nChange your government. I'm 27 and I have 35k saved. I've made so much money over the years that has been spent on rent, paying back student debt, braces, food, taxes, my business expenses, and life in general. Canada needs people for low end/tough jobs, but also high end jobs. The problem is importing a bunch of people into a broken system is not going to do anything but cause problems for the most part. Canada should have invested in the people already here, change the laws and policies, get rid of the red tape and have common sense legislation.

I used to date a girl who was an immigrant in Canada and it was incredible when I visited her the conditions immigrants (other than the wealthy ones) lived in. She lived in a converted basement and most immigrants lived in shared housing. There were homeless people everywhere and it was appalling. \n\n(Btw, one thing they forgot to mention was housing supplies being bought up by wealthy investors.)

Anyhow Canada is far far developed and better than india .

It's about time! I'm an immigrant who never collected unemployment, welfare etc. I worked as an RN by working and going to school. The riff raffs around makes me so angry. Look at housing, crime, healthcare ...Trudeau has brought shame and disgust to once beautiful Canada. Now its so broken. It's a shame.

Nope.. it's not about migration. Canada is mostly empty, it just doesnt make sense if they say they don't need more people. They need more people, more spesifically: white Christian, preferably British or American born people.

For every hundred people who are looking for the same job there is sn employment problem. For every hundred people looking for the same apartment you have a rental problem. For every hundred people looking to buy the same house there's going to be a housing problem. For every hundred people looking to take the same thing as the other hundred people you have a society with a big problem. In many cities daycare is a big problem because of the number of new people coming into the country and replacing those who are already in line for social services. Language services replace the priority of local citizens who have to move to the sidelines in order for new comers can be equal but when too many people are coming into the country things will never be equal. Anyone coming to Canada must be fluent in English so as to not put a strain on local social services..

Why should Canada's future population of for generations and generations and generations and indigenous pay with the future of those who have been here

Imagine if we as Americans let everyone through the border and into Canada, Canadians would start to understand our struggle with immigration much more

It all comes down to how many babies Canada makes versus the cost of social services. We have anti-family systems, crushing living costs and aging population. Our socialist system needs tax dollars to fund “free healthcare” and other election promises that require funding. So, Canada realized this, and the bandaid approach is to fill the country with young immigrants. To hear this is about population growth is flat out, wrong.

Honestly Canadian dream looks scarier than American dreams\nBefore coming to Canada in Nov 2019 I used to work in Singapore for 7 years. After migrating to Toronto I gotta do extra part time. Job to make the ends meet. I was blessed with so many part time jobs but they were all survival jobs honestly. After few years I returned back to Singapote to retry my luck here again and I got a job doing gov project.

Immigration policy in Canada is totally brainless. There is no plan, only an unwillingness to analyse the effects of bad policy.

This documentary conveniently doesn’t report on the corrupt Indian immigration agents back in India not telling hopeful immigrants the truth about Canada. These immigration reps forge documents and are paid by hopeful clients to facilitate their settling in Canada. The aim of the documentary appears to be intended to make Canadians feel guilty about something.

Part of the problem is where immigrants chose to settle in Canada. I am sure the reception they would receive in small town Yorkton Saskatchewan would be better than the future ghetto of Brampton Ontario.

Well, obviously the masses need a scapegoat — there's too many refugees fleeing crises Western governments exacerbate abroad (to the benefit of mostly only a few corporations' profit), and we can't have people pointing the finger at the ones really doing the exploiting!\n\nYou know, the same exploiters that fund lobbying groups & think tanks here that point the direction our government's policy goes, regardless of the wants of anyone else. Right now it just looks like the Canadian Government is exploiting immigrants they let in Canada. All they want is the money that these immigrants will bring in and will use to spend here in Canada and once these immigrants settle and get jobs they will be after the taxes that they can get from these immigrants as well. If you cannot call that exploitation I do not know what else you can call that.

Canadas natural immigration rate is about 350k/yr. At the same time we were facing a housing crisis caused mainly (at the time) by oppressive and inefficient regulatory systems. That was before Trudeau, without explanation, increased immigration to 1.5 Million per year. Canada used to immigrate primary families with a 50:50 male female ratio. Now we primarily import single military aged males resulting in the current near-70:30 male female ratio. This is a massive concern.

Foreign Investment is leaving at a staggering rate! Where are the jobs outside of fast food and Gov jobs? NOTHING! Travel to Europe nd you'll see. Canada is behind!

I am an international student and if my visa expires then I should leave Canada, they should not blame other people that they are being lured to get PR, it is their responsibility to check if their immigration consultant is legit. Immigrants should respect Canadian Law.

I apologize to all my American family and friends. Since Justin Castro took office in 2015 we’ve gone from 36 million to 41 million in population. Our system can’t handle that amount, so off they go to the US. I’m convinced Justin in his narcissistic mind dream’s about someday ruling India.

Hundreds of musslims float over across Detroit River from Canada every day and disappear into the United States. Nice 15 minute boat ride from Canada to US. No one gives a damn. Customs agents say they can leave but they can NOT return to Canada.

As a Canadian whose grandparents were born here, trust me, its not our fault. Its our corrupt leadership. Or, its WEF influence.
