I feel bad for them but as a Canadian, do I want them to become Canadian (prob will not pay income tax cause they won’t make a lot of money, being near poverty line)(and will require lots of help from the government)? Or someone from a rich country that goes through investment method to gain PR card (injecting 100-200k into local companies in cash for pr card)(they will most likely buy expensive stuff from our local economy). Let me know what you think guys think. I want 90% of the immigrants to be the latter. Can’t let all the poor peoples in or we will go bankrupt as a nation. This is reality

I had a friend that years ago she was living in the UAE. She was expected to cover up or else. Well being the rebel she is, she dared to show her shoulders. For this act of rebellion she was cut on her arms by a group of men. \n\nThis is the reality of Muslim countries. So they leave their oppressive societies and come to the west and think we should allow them to continue this oppression here.\n\nI don't think so....like the Canadian in the UAE, they should adapt to their host country, period.

I think both cultures are too severe/extreme. women covering their faces in hot summer while Canadian women stand waiting outside for taxis to go get drunk wearing skirts even hooker's wouldn't wear in the eighties. or wearing nylons as pants and that's it. where is modesty that doesn't make you almost pass out from heat exhaustion, or modesty that doesn't make you look like a hooker? where is that old saying......happy medium?

I'm a Canadian and I think it okay for them to wear what they want and they have a right to seek safety....they are humans too

Unlike Americans, Canadians don't want to acknowledge that racism exists in Canada. Just Look at the comments, many deny racism or think that this program is garbage. This is sick.

Canada sounds identical to Australia except the weather is warm here not cold I think I'd say Canadian people I prefer but than America has everything available which can be a good thing or a bad thing thoughts from melbourne

I am muslim and I completely understand why would canadians hate muslims being part of their land. well it's their land not ours (muslims) .. so I actually think that muslims have no right to impose themselves unless they are canadians and not immigrants. well any case I'm neither this not that. I am sure the Canadian govt. knows what is BEST for Canada or they would of NOT let them in , in the first place.  Maybe the Canadians love muslims.  I mean why would you let people in you don't like,  it don't make sense.  I think the Canadians love muslims.  I think Europe loves muslims. IF you don't like them, why do they all come pouring into your country. I think they all love muslims. Why would the queen and gov let these people into the country if the people didn't like muslims.  I don't think the queen or govts would do this without the peoples conscent.  I am sure the queen and gov will continue to do what is BEST for the peoples.  The queen is to be trusted. She is royalty.

Children dying. So do we, they need care and parents can not afford it. Tax me for i want to help every CANADIAN. When we are home free maybe we can splurge. I'm also Canadian and moved to the USA to marry my (now) husband, and I definitely notice some major differences. I think much of this really depends on where you're living in the US. I spent most of my life in Ottawa, and now live in South Central Pennsylvania. I'm surrounded by hillbillies, haha. In some ways healthcare is better in the US - I have waited much less time for health care, and also if you're paying in cash for the doctor many places offer a discount here. And I hear you on Amazon Prime! I use it all the time here! Not to mention so many cool vegan foods I could never get in Canada are easily available here.

I live in Canada, retired and am thinking of moving down to the US to live with my husband's sister and husband. They are going to buy a house in Sun City, Hilton Head. I was wondering Derek if you had to get someone to sponsor you or did you just move there? Have you since gotten health care, I was wondering how much you are paying. I read somewhere also that you have to take your drivers test, written and driving test since most states do not acknowledge Canadian license. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. so pro women is wearing nothing?????? i am roman catholic and when i go to mass, i wear a veil. and remember it wasnt that long ago that women, no matter where, had to wear long dresses. and what do canadians think of nuns wearing their habits? should nuns ( and some here in italy, dress almost like muslims) change because of stupid, uneducated prejudice people?

When there is taxpayor subsidized housing for only worshippers of muhammad and Canadians who were on waiting lists for subsidizing housing are flat out denied and taken off waiting lists, there is a huge problem with taxpayors paying for religion. Hijab, niqab and buurka are all about reminding women that they are property. They have to be subjugated to being invisible.They are brainwashed into thinking it is because they are more respected that way. They are shamed into feeling like they are temptresses or sluts if they aren't invisible. Its all about male dominance.

Why do the media keep on asking the muslims what they think? Why don't they ask the Canadians? And the Swedes? And the English? And the French?

Blacks arent the problem in canada as much as it is in the US. There was no KKK here. The people that do deserve the knowledge is the Aboriginals. The government treated them bad and so did the churches. They are what the Canadian government should be addressing and not so much the blacks as they are just as equal as a white man in Canada now. Jobs for the government 1 year have to hire more minorities then another year females and what not. I cant speak for what it is like in the US but where I live blacks are treated the same as whites. There are some arabs that think they are the gangsters and hate white peopl for ni reason. I asked them why they hates whites so much and they said its because they are pussys. That aint no damn reason. If you disagree please enlighten me with your knowledge.
