There are lots of ways to stop this-- among , employers charged, no medical of any type, renting,selling,housing illegals gets jail and fined , No schooling ,any employer found getting, aiding , goving jobs to illegals means jail time --- \nSuppose any of these measures will be used, after all, justin had c hinese p olice s s tations in our country without telling anyone --- this is the last straw with all these illegals.

In 2010 I had a one way ticket to Florida to visit some friends. At the airport they pulled me aside and said that if I didn’t come back to Canada within 14 days I’d never be allowed back into America again. I was traumatized and never went back. But here we are 13 years later and I can just walk wherever I want to go on this side of the world lol…but for real, this is sad. If you aren’t used to Canadian temperatures your in trouble. Hope everyone is okay. It is rough though, I was in a shelter for two months, but some families were there for almost a year because of the housing crisis. I’m not exactly sure how this will work. ?

We have too big of government, too many regulations, too many taxes. Who would do business in Canada? Name a Canadian company other than shopify. Blackberry... Oh wait its dead. I am an American. I am looking to relocate to Canada because of the bad experiences I have had as a California Licensed Structural Engineer with 25+ years of experience. This US license is really difficult to obtain because the exam has a 25% pass rate. In California, it is much tougher because of the earthquakes the state experiences.\n\nInstead of being treated with respect for having this Structural Engineer License, I have been treated badly by structural engineering firms in the US. In the US, you can be fired for no reason at all. They use Performance Improvement Plans to lay me off because I am much smarter than the people I work with. Licensed Structural Engineers do not have job security - so expect to work only a few months.\n\nIn the US, you will have a job for 4 months because your boss has decided to hire someone cheaper and give himself a raise. This happened to me at the City and County of Denver.\n\nLicensed Structural Engineers do not have job security at all because employers do not care about their employees. With workplaces like that, the US is not the place to be. American is not the greatest nation when you have morons like Harry Dunn and Lloyd Christmas from the movie Dumb and Dumber running things! Americans are downright stupid! That is why I am considering relocating to Canada.\n\nI started taking structural engineering courses at the University of British Columbia so I could better myself and get some Canadian experience. I moved to Canada in 2012. I used to love Canada as even with $11 per hour job was more than enough to survive (during studies, part time job). I used to live happy life. But, since Liberal government was elected in 2015, things are going crap. Just between 2016 when I signed lease of 1+1 apartment for 1140$, in 2019 it was getting rented for $2400. Prices went up for house and lots of things. Liberals had messed up affordability that most people in Toronto region are living paycheque to paycheque. On top of it Carbon tax in hide of saving environment which literally not working out, is killing Canadians. \n\nAfter living in Canada for 11 years, I don’t see this country has any good future overall. Our banking to technology sector everything is outdated. World is moving so fast, Canada is not able to catch up. I am looking for easy was to get green card of USA, the country which I hated, it seems USA is far better. I have many relatives in USA, I asked around and it broke lots of my stereotypes about USA which I had developed living in Canada and from Canadians. Even met few people who lived in Canada for 10-15 years and moved to USA and living there for last 5-10 years. Worst decision of my life was choosing Canada in 2012 for easy immigration. My classmates who chose USA and moved there in 2012 are in much better position career wise as well salary wise and they files are also in progress. Living lavish life with great weather, while Canada is depressive as hell.

Great video! Another issue is childcare for working parents. There is no free childcare for working couples, both parents have to work to afford bills and the mother staying at home is not an option for the majority of working class Canadians since life is too expensive. For this reason a lot of people decide not to have children in this country simply because of unaffordability. Considering all the taxes Canadians pay this would greatly help people. The government gladly keeps bringing more and more new people into Canada ( mostly to get voters) but ignores the needs of existing Canadians. Not only you cannot find a house to live or afford one but having a family is nearly impossible without 3 or 4 jobs and using the food bank because after paying the rent there is no money to buy food.

Canada is not worth coming to if you own a home in your current country and are generally happy, have a decent job and family, don't come here because it will not be easy or better than what you have. You will have to start from nothing, working the worst jobs cleaning hotels and toilets or working minimum wage in a retail store, even if you are a professional in your home country. There is nothing better here, nothing is free unless you come as a refugee. This country is the anti-dream of America. The taxes are very hi, the rent is unaffordable, to buy a house you have to make $200,000k a year, so basically you will be screwed. There is no way to save for retirement in Canada, so don't think life will get easier. In Canada you will get stuck working well beyond your retirement years like into your 70's you will work here until you drop dead. My parents are 70 and still work because they are still paying off their mortgage, while they get retirement $1,300 per month which is the standard is a joke since it doesn't cover the basics, you need $6,000 at least to survive for a month, to buy food, gas for your car, carinsurance, phone bill, utilities, anything else, just the basics. What the government gives you is completely unrealistic to the times, considering the amount of money people pay in taxes you don't get enough during your retirement years, the government has no use for you so they dont care about you when you get old.

After studying the issue, and having lived in other countries I see now how Canada differs from every other OECD country. \nIt’s a rationed, inefficient govt monopoly. \nPublic sector: Only 1 medical insurance provider: Provincial Medicare. Other countries allow NON profit competing insurance providers to “simulate” free markets and provide healthy competition. Allows more choice and keeps administrative bloat at a minimum. \n\nPrivate sector: allow a fully functioning for profit private sector (for those that want a non-govt choice)Again, allows a 2nd employer, more choice and healthy competition. \n\nI cannot wait for the Supreme Court of Canada to hear the Cambie case and break up the Monopoly. That's so funny and true at the same time. Sadly, I was born in the falsely advertised 'Best place on Earth, 'Canada' and therefore, cannot claim asylum in any other country, so I will pass away alone in hospice with 5 other dying strangers. Luckily, I moved away just in time through the UK ancestry scheme and live my dreams with my partner I met in a home we bought in a city where I don't have to look at the price tags as I know it's already 6x cheaper than Canada! However, there's a catch in that you can only go back as far as your grandparents to use the Ancestry Escape Pod, so if your grandparents were born in Canada I wish you all the luck and who knows, maybe you'll eventually merge with the USA and freedom and happiness is yours. Life is better on the outside. I moved 15yrs ago and never look back. I calculated a week to visit my siblings in Canada costs the same as 6 months worth of mortgage payments (my share).

I am originally from Buffalo, NY and we are literally 5 to 10 minutes away from Ontario CA, 1 hour away from Toronto, CA. It is better to me than American. The streets are clean, it is not segregated and food portions are smaller. The only thing I never understood is when Canadians came to Buffalo how they totally switched gears and started acting router then how they normally at the Canada. And I guess there's not a cheesecake factory Canada. But we used to always get slammed because of how close we were to Canada and how Canadians love cheesecake factory. I am from the Northeast and went to Canada as a teen for the George Bernard Shaw Festival and I was amazed by how clean the area was. People leave trash everywhere here and it only has gotten worse. Not only that, but I uses to work at a hotel in my area and would assist with breakfasts and the cleanest, most polite people I ever assisted were from Canada. Other visitors from the states would leave trash, syrup, cereal, dirty paper plates everywhere... Canadians cleaned up after themselves. Shout out to Canadians!

I love Canada. It's fantastic that we don't have to worry about safety. One thing I do like about America is that you have the right to defend your home with as much force as you want. In Canada it can be difficult to defend yourself because they can make the claim that you used too much force to remove someone. I think that's bs. If you're in my house without my consent, I should be able to do whatever I want to get you out. It's my house.

The cost of living in Canada can be high, just as the cost of loving in the US can be low. It just depends on location. You shouldn't use LA as your point of reference as it's (in my opinion) the worst big city in America. Canadian salaries are also extremely low, I started out at 75k USD, but the same role was only 33k CAD in Canada

I think those of us that live here in the states that are in states that are close to Canada are fortunate because we get the best of both worlds. I'm from Detroit and we visit regularly because it's right across the river. I've been to Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and use to visit Windsor often. We started going to Canada at a young age because it was legal to drink at 19 when we found that out we were there at least once a month back then. I've always enjoyed my time in Canada I'll be back there soon.
