Canada business system prefers the big franchises businesses that have millions of dollars. If you have a small shop or restaurant get beaten by the big corporations that has franchises. the food costs are high and when selling u just cant sell for a better profit that can actually make you money. The Chinese and Indians knows how to sell little many items at a low cost just to be on a very tinny profitable way to keep on going. The Multi big paying makes money in Canada not the small business immigrants come and create. Those business don't built wealth because the big corporations are pushed by the Gov more in creating jobs and paying the big corporate taxes that in turn the taxes help support the social programs for those that cant work and also providing the basic needs to those that needs it through the taxes paid. In many African states many of the individual business that strife and create wealth because there isn't too much huge corporations that competes with this small business like the first world nations. In SA for example we have seen an explosion of many migrants going there creating small business and striving better than they will be in Canada. The taxes are high in Canada that's true u cant be rich sorry u will work until you lose your hair f not your hair turns white in a very short time due to too much stress and worries. Canada is good for social programs it takes care off those that don't' work if you work forget about getting rich but supporting those that don't work through the allocated taxes. In fact when the economy falls those shops easily shut down entirely and when they do reopen they barely make profits. Racism in Canada is different from USA. In the USA its more racism as a generic term to describe discrimination against ethnical state while in Canada its more about cultural discrimination. I'm a Canadian, and can comfortably state that Canada's reputation was cemented in the early seventies, and anyone choosing to come here based on that reputation, does so under false pretences. The majority of the immigrants I have come into contact with quickly become disillusioned with Canada, and eventually feel compelled to leave. The cost of living, combined with a lack of opportunities, and low wages, means that leading a normal life here is largely out of the question. Crime is a huge problem in BC, as Vancouver has become the de facto money laundering centre for North America. As a result, Canada is now extremely attractive for all the wrong reasons. At present, Canada is experiencing internal mass migration patterns driven by economic necessity, as the cost of living is prohibitively expensive in most urban centres. There is also a corresponding mass migration pattern of those who were born here away from the major cities, as Canada now lets in 500K, largely unvetted, immigrants into the country each year, most of whom are from war-ravaged, or third world, countries. With so many disparate languages and cultures from all over the world, it makes life utterly chaotic. The different nationalities never mix, and there is no effort expended to integrate with the Canadians who were born here. The Chinese live in Richmond, the East Indians in Surrey, and they have NOTHING to do with each other. Having traveled abroad, it's shocking how primitive it is in Canada. My advice to anyone thinking of coming here: Would you buy a ticket for a cruise on a ship that has a massive hole under the waterline?

100% correct. I was one of those who left Canada. The funny thing is I found many Canadians (not migrants) who are engineers worked in the low income jobs in my place and a very good friend of mine who is a Caucasian Canadian at the end moved to South America. Another thing is it is not always easy to move on from low income jobs there. I met an Indian who is an engineer after living there for 30 years became a taxi driver.

My own family immigrated here from South Africa 40 years ago. They say the people here are dour, and unfriendly. Ironically over the years they have become the same. The country changes you, and each province seems to have it's own culture. Currently in my province there is a large influx of Indian students and Syrian refugees. Many students I've spoken to complained about the racism, poor weather and lack of things to do in my city specifically. Myself, I feel foreign now in a city I grew up in and am hoping to move out west, but maybe further south to be with my american boyfriend. I wonder what it's like immigrating to the States lol!

Local Brampton Mayors and Ontario gov never tried to put/invite some universities, hospitals and white collar jobs in Brampton, due to that Brampton became mostly bedroom community and all mix people started leaving city by seeing huge influx of South Asian population. Most people in Brampton are either truck driver, construction worker or labourer working in warehouse, while North-West part of Brampton is mostly young IT people working in Downtown or Mississuaga. I personally don’t know a single person who works in Brampton. But, still every Indian wants to live in Brampton just because of food & brown community. Now Brampton will become more brown and brown every year, just because there is no reason for other community to come and live in Brampton, no white collar jobs, not many hospitals or colleges or universty which can bring mix crowd. Brampton will be 100% south asian in next 10 years as most 50%+ new immigrants to Canada are from South Asia and every year 450000 new immigrants comes to Canada!

I went to canada with my family when i was 6 years old i thought it was so beautiful the native americans treated us with kindness my dad bought me some moccisens there. A chinese immagrant restaurant owner was nice to us the white people many of them wrent very nice this was in 1969 in the summer but i loved the wilderness and wanted to go back and see the indians. I was a dreamer. Unfortenately and through my own fault after i got out of the military honerably discharged . I got a dui again it was my stupidity but i payed my fine did my jail time and got educated about not drinking and driving. It is not a felony i the US but it is in Canada so canada gets ahold of my driving records maybe they hacked in. And said i could not go into canada. I noticed they let george w.
