Yknow this puzzles me, so many of these countries talk so much shit about The U.S but yet here's tons of mfs trying to get in :/ like if we are so bad why the fuck you trying to come in?? Stay the fuck out of our home U.S citizens are already having housing problems due to cost of living/inflation we don't need a bunch of immigrants begging for jobs or housing idc what problems their having we as the untied states we have our own problems to take care of.

Immigration laws have to be enforced we cannot continue taking the worlds immigrants we have homeless problems already we have people that have problems supporting their families as it is..we need to solve our own problems at home before we can solve problems abroad.i have zero problems with someone emigrating to the u.s. but it needs to be done legally..the rich in the United States keeps getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer.solve that problem first..

And my life turned upside down this Friday by illegal immigrants here in Louisiana. They ran a red light, smash my car, totaled it. While running from border patrol and customs. I counted eight people running out of the vehicle and not one gave two shits to check on me, even though I was injured. Seven of them got away the only one they caught was a 14 year old Honduran child that claimed amnesty. So vehicle which they stole, which had stolen license plate, and apparently was full of stolen tools all was seized. The owners will be lucky if they get anything back since it is being held as evidence. I was told by My Attorney chances are my insurance will not pay me in full for my vehicle. Also, I only have a few payments on my car left, and I’m forced to pay it even though now I have no vehicle to get to work, because all my equity is tied up in it, funny thing is I recognize this kid from one of the jobsites down the street. They literally beat me in a bid on. Mind you only buy $400 differences I’m having to pay taxes it’s a joke when you say these people take jobs and no one else wants thing is it’s not jobs no one else wants it’s jobs that have become jobs. No one wants because of the pay continues to fall prices continue to increase, everyone thinks he’s illegal immigrants make no money on these jobsites most of them have nicer vehicles and live in nicer places than the guys I know. The Democrats who are used to vote for because I thought they were for the workingman have completely switched. Their allegiance is to the large corporations that just want to drive down competition and raise their profit margins. They don’t care about America. They want a global economic system in which we have to compete with people that are willing to do the same work as us for a little less because they don’t have to pay what we have to pay and they go back to their countries and live like kings where our dollar buys a lot. They literally use their influence and corruption to take down Trump‘s administration because he was actually doing something about America’s problems. What a damn shame it’s time to change the system. If you’re not voting for a Bernie Sanders or Trump you might as well not voted off because you will get no change. Frankly, I think Bernie Sanders is a terrible choice, but it beats Joe Biden, because at least Bernie Sanders does care. Trump 4 more years!!!!

What if we just let them? I’m not pro illegal immigration but would it really be all that bad? Most people attempting to come here are not criminals or free loaders like the media has made you believe. We are suffering population decline to the point we will have too many elderly and not enough tax payers to support the elderly. This can help solve that problem as well increase our economy. Meh.

I thought the US and Canada had a legal agreement not to accept immigrants coming to Canada from the USA? I have no problem people seeking asylum and I feel we have a duty to process them. I have a problem if they come through the US as they should be processed there and applying for immigration to Canada.

Although I've been against illegal immigration (but NOT legal immigration), we have got to realize that it is the politicians of our day who have caused this problem, not the immigrants. If you were given a promise of a better life than you currently have, with no strings attached, wouldn't you take it? The current politicians RULING Canada (not governing) have allowed this situation to continue only so as to line their political pockets with people willing to thank them by voting for them in the next election. About time, I don't have a problem with controlled immigration with proper vetting but illegal immigrants crossing by shortcuts could include criminals.

Nice! move the problem to another location 10-15 mins away, how the hell will that solve anything, we already feel like we're immigrants in our own country. I keep saying it, the Government of Canada should poll resources with the USA, Build huge biodomes up north near Churchill or something... minimizing the risk of escape. Keep them there for two years while they work in the biodomes tending crops in the biodomes, while being educated in the form of teaching them our ways and speak English and French, If after two years they have not been able to, pack them in a plane and ship them back to where they came from and let their own government take care of them.

I’m sorry your life in your own country sucks but you cannot just rush into our country the wrong way, sorry. Immigrants have gone through the proper process for decades and you do not deserve a shortcut. Don’t blame the US for your hardship when YOU made the choices that led you to being stuck at the border bc YOU though you could just force your way in. And United States we have a huge immigration problem that needs to be dealt with. We take in almost fifty percent of the world's immigrants it's unsustainable. Regardless of your political affiliation. It's just common sense like literally any other country in the world to protect its borders. That being said most of our Southern immigrants a simulate pretty well to u.s. cultural standards and actually take a lot of pride and they start their lives in this country

This problem arose from the southern states not following democratic policies in which the democrats were allowing illegal immigrants into the the US.. the southern republican states said F that and sent these immigrants up north to the democratic states and now here they are trying to enter Canada

As a Canadian this irks me so much. It is a slap in the face to all Immigrants that came to Canada through legal channels.\nI think the message this sends is: Fuck going the legal way, this is way easier.\n\nI've heard the Premier of Quebec say this is a huge problem for his province, it costs the Govt of Quebec a lot of money to house, feed, and provide medical care to these illegal aliens.\n\nHard to believe that Jelly Ass Trudeau not only encourages these people to come here illegally but welcomes them.\nAs PM the first thing I would have done is erect a huge fence to discourage these illegals.

The Vegetable In Chief has allowed for an infestation of illegal immigrants. The U.S. should take over Mexico to first, take control of the border, and secondly, get rid of the cartels. There is too much volatility in Mexico. Having that much chaos so close to the country is obviously an issue. The longer it goes unchecked, the more of a problem it will be.

Poor people nobody wants them and they do need help, but why should Mexico and US have to resolve their problems. The Mexicans of the city are sick and tired of that situation. There are a lot of poverty in Mexico and with more immigrants the situation have worsened. US and Mexico need to get into an agreement and get these people home with better opportunities in their home country.

Sorry but no USA, no Canada or Europe cares about illegal immigrants because there is a work shortage everywhere and in every profession, those countries need them, and will have economy problems without them. Maybe in 1 year they stop that for just a year and start all over again.

If these immigrants are asking for a better life then that’s not a problem but they should not get it for free. The main problem that US/ nyc is facing with these immigrants is that they get everything for free (food stamps, Medicaid, shelter etc from taxpayers). Go ahead & give them work permits & make it mandatory to show 5yrs tax papers to get citizenship.

I don't understand why these people feel entitled to live wherever they want. I don't understand why they run from their troubles at home instead of confronting them. The South American illegal immigration problem is one of pure cowardace and stupidity. If your going to risk you life on a journey to run away from a broken country, when you could stay home and fight FOR YOUR HOME at about the same risk, that's cowardly.

Decades of pretending we don't know how to solve the immigration problem.

This problem needs to be solved by punishing the countries that send these migrants without any check. And meanwhile, the process for legal immigration needs to be mainstreamed.

Both US have negative birth rates and job openings. That's what the real problem is. Limited access to Legal Immigration. No immigration is economic suicide for both countries. Many small businesses are opened by immigrates. They bring skills and money. America creates the drug war for drugs and appetite for drugs in US, then doesnn't want to accept asylum seekes fleeing from the choas.

I’m the son of immigrants. However, my parents asked for asylum by going to us embassy in Bangkok Thailand. So born and raised in America. But when I see this it breaks my heart, on one hand I feel for those who want a better life for themselves. On the other, we cannot let this type of chaos unfold before our eyes. Is the solution a militarized wall that mirrors the Korean DMZ or West Bank barrier- maybe, I hope not, i prefer not to build walls but bridges of friendship, trade, problem solving, and unity. The biggest problem Canada has, is the people have intentionally been dumbed down to the point they are easily convinced to vote for a politically correct moron like Justin Trudeau who has never had a single full-time job in his life and who thought it would be great for his first full-time job to be the leader of a G7 country. The Trudeaus and Liberal Party were/are supported by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation which is the tax payer funded propaganda arm of the Liberal Party and no one knew it. Canadians are so stupid they'll probably re-elect Justin. Canada's immigration policy thanks to the Trudeaus, is making sure that Canadians founding peoples and cultures will rapidly become a slim minority and be taken over by third-world toilet cultures. Canada deserves to self-destruct.

I'm tired of people immigrating here and complaining about how it is. A lot of Canada's problems have been caused by the influx of immigrants moving here over the last 20 years. A literal shock to the Canadian system in EVERY way. Toronto is now 50% 1st Generation Canadians. A 2020 report showed out of 35 million Canadians, 8 million were immigrants... but yet people immigrate here, then have the audacity to complain. Like seriously, why move here then?... AND CALL US RACIST?! Like we didn't just let you move here? Like we're not a Country that's been built on Multiculturalism and Respect. Like we don't hold the highest immigration rate in the world. Like we don't have laws that protect people from it. How does your home country treat minority groups? How does it protect them?
