I can’t find the proper words to describe how I’m feeling about the life in Canada! I feel extremely disappointed and angry. EVERYTHING has changed since the early 80s unrecognizably, even the service and how different people treat or mistreat each other!! There is no more courtesy, politeness and human respect in hospitals, government offices, banks, etc. \nThe elected government officials are mostly corrupt, unfit for their duties and pursue only a personal agendas in promotion to a higher level! \nRight now, as of January 2025 we are again expecting endless flows of refugees from Gaza along to anticipated tax increases imposed by Trump. \nI have no more words! I feel that this country becoming a dump with an unbearable quality of life. I am feeling mostly depressed and feel no joy due to current conditions and limited opportunities here. I simple cannot even stand it any more and can’t wait when I would be able to find a new place of my residence outside of Canada!

As far as healthcare goes the US is a 3rd world country, where, only the rich can afford to see a doctor, or visit a hospital. You have thousands of people living on the streets, with NO help, or concern. America is no different than Bangladesh, or Ethiopia, for having a part of your society living on the street, begging for food, or money. When the US starts caring for ALL of it's people, regardless of skin color, race, or background, and give them a hand up, like most CIVILIZED societies do, you'll always be a 3rd world country. America had a chance to elect a president that would have turned America into a first world power with Kamala Harris, and Tim Waiz, but, you blew it, you re-elected the worst president, EVER with trump, who will finish the job of ruining America, and make it totally poverty-stricken. WOW, you'd think Americans are all millionaires, the way they turned out, for trump! Did NONE of you listen to what Kamala was offering? Because this half blind, mostly deaf old Canadian heard every word, her promise of a bottom-up building more opportunities for poor, and working class families, new taxes on the rich, and corporations to pay for it. Kamala offered a GREAT deal, a more secure future, more OPPORTUNITIES,,,,, And you all turned her down. You voted for a stalker and rapist, a traitor, and criminal, with multiple convictions, a liar, and cheat, trump. I guess you get what you deserve.

Trump voters are to ignorant to understand that the billionaire class and their control over our politicians including Trump is why everything is expensive now. They would rather blame immigrants and that’s never going to solve the problems that we face as a country. As someone who has done the immigration process legally, and know of people who have done it legally, I think it’s unfair that these illegal migrants can just come while I and those who done the process right had to pay a lot of money and wait a long time. People who are against this why don’t you understand? I have family who in their own country had to wait a LONG time for a visa just to visit the US and pay a lot too. I’m grateful for that Trump came into the office

I’ve been waiting for my husbands marriage visa for 14 months freezing the legal visa processes for Colombians who are married to a U.S. disabled veteran citizen born and raised in the Midwest is wrong. I pray the President restarts processing legal visas for this married to U.S. citizens \nI am not able to walk well and my only caregiver is my husband so I’m stuck in colombia until my husbands visa is approved. Border control and immigration are absolutely a major issue that needs to be addressed. For instance, Canada should have been on top of border control a long time ago. Safety for Canadiand AND Americans. But Canada can't just give in. Where does it end. Everytime Trump wants something he is just going to keep threatening with tariffs. Do as i say or 25% tariffs. This is not a way to deal with other countries.

This fits Trump's narrative too well. CNN coverage has changed since ownership switched hands. We knew it would be gradual perceptive switch but it has indeed fallen from the standards of the past. Closer to a fox for the next caste up. You only know what you are shown. You work the same job and see the same people. If you watch the same news outlets you are exposing yourself to information crafted from the same perspective. My world is small vs reality and yours is too. Think about the decades of Americans trying to keep them out, investing money in walls and barriers and wire when we could have helped stabilize these countries to where these guys wouldn't feel like they HAD to come here to live with dignity. All To be treated like this. We have had decades to fix the problem acknowledge the root problem, but we spend our tax money, time, and efforts reapplying bandaids and barriers at the border.

Amazing how these fine people who should remain in America (according to some) were not wanted back by their own country. When they were willing (for about an hour, LOL) to have a trade war because that's how badly they did not want them back, it goes a long way to prove that Trump is right.
