Instead of taking advantage of a class of working age people who can immediately start paying taxes we have allowed capitalists who own both parties with their lobbyists to extract wealth from rent farms and using their monopolies to overcharge us for basic needs under the guise of inflation. If this were true and you have to raise prices by 25%, how come they dont also raise wages by 25% if their profit and overhead have increased proportionally? Increased profits during a slow economy with the pandemic is so blatant whats happening. We are being robbed by long established canadian nepotism families that run our government and point the finger at immigrants. Economies are supposed to scale with population, in the case of immigrants many dont require the necessary fortune we spend on native born peoples public education so they are able to work. We spend nothing on integration efforts our schools abuse them charge the massive international fee. These are rich people coming here with families capable of paying the additional 10-20k a year being international students, and we are not benefitting from this extremely successful industry only the rich are. Imagine if we could be proud of the fact our education is so good people will pay our country double just to get it. Squandered opportunity on every side.

It is not a self sustainable country as there is no atmosphere for organic growth. \nWealthy Canadian are cashing the assets and moving to other countries like Mexico etc

I know were all talking about the popular cities and popular states but from a state thats frequently overlooked Alaska is a different deal than 90% of the US. I live in Montreal. The city is beautiful and has a great vibe. But the roads are really bad, housing is shitty, healthcare is the worst in Canada (imagine that!). I had a gynaecological issue where I was bleeding for over a month. You cannot go to a specialist by yourself without a referral. When I got the referral I could not get an appointment for the next 4 months. I had to immediately run to India to get treated. My friends have all had similar experiences. I’ve been living here for 6 yrs now and still don’t have a family doctor. I’m on the waitlist for the past 4 yrs. And family doc doesn’t mean your entire family gets one doc nah uh. My husband will get a different one and I’ll get a different one. Homelessness is rampant. Every month 100s of working people are going homeless. They are rushing to hospitals to take shelter from heat and rain. 60% of Canada is atheist and churches have been turned into bars, cabarets, libraries, homeless shelters etc. Most international students rely on food banks because you can’t afford groceries here. But Indians living in Canada only flaunt their branded clothes and accessories to fake their luxury life and hide that they do hard labor to make ends meet

I am a Canadian and I have seen the sharp decline of Canada over the past decade which makes me very sad. According to many 'experts' they paint a dire picture of the nations future as the rate of inflation spirals out of control and we are buried beneath a mountain of debt. On the ground level, homelessness is an epidemic that the powers that should not be seem to want to sweep under the rug, while they race bait and spout off about woke ideology. They are more worried about transgender rights and castrating children while with anyone with eyes to see are witnessing the very breakdown of their society around them, people are dying in the streets from fentanyl overdose. My wife volunteered at our old church which catored to the homeless and I have known many that are no longer with us, nobody wants to acknowledge it because they do not want to face the fact that they are fellow human beings. In the end no one is better than any one else, it is all vanity.?\nIt would seem like we are run by lunatics with severe cognitive dissonance by the fact that we have mass immigration while are own \npopulation is suffering, I admit that mental health and addictions are potent variables that constitute the crisis, I am not niave to those facts. I myself have had long term Sobriety. But it is odd that only a decade ago, homelessness /addiction were problems confined to major cities like Vancouver and Toronto, and now we have tent cities in almost every town with a population of more than 20 thousand people. It would seem like utter stupidity to keep pouring water into a bucket that is overflowing. What made Canada rich was the older generations, the country is still running on the steam of those previous generations.
