Haven’t people studied abroad in the past with no issue? Like exchange students ect? Why now are there all these expectations of staying afterwards? I feel bad that they were lied to by agencies in their home country, but their anger should be towards them (the people that lied to them) not the country they are a guest in. \n\nAlso, I haven’t researched this but, I wonder if they behave the same and make demands of other countries they study in, or if it’s just Canada they think they can walk all over and push around.

They have flooded the plains with these people. In no time at all, our entire social landscape has changed. From the ground up. Its a bit of a soft coup. All jobs, everywhere. All voices, language and accents have emtirly changed. Our civil laws. How they ate applied and respected. Business conduct changed. Communal quality completely diminished. Local government bias. Civil enforcement open corruption. Common exchanges, xut in half. Social behaviors completely transformed. A spiritual, physical and financial war and gutting out is what j can expect when this lot turn up. Public and private hygiene standards, I mesn eberythimg goes. Here in the uk, being swallowed alive by this mass drowning of the natives is a frightening thing to have happen to u. The machine decided we would all be replaced by the chosen ones. It feels surreal. Im black and am seeing a complete white washing and replacement model is brutally underway. I used to respect their culture amd people. That is not the case now, having this downpour drown out everythimg else. Tough fact: poor white folks are drunk, drug addicted and do not offer the economy enough stimulus. Its these areas where The new ones move in, re establish, modify and then own as a neighborhood. This social engineering exercise is a reason why Ive lost my respect for the group. Never comment on someone's weight. I have had several people from other cultures think that is OK. Also, never ever ask or assume a woman is pregnant. Even if you are helping her deliver the baby never mention it. I was a little bloated once and a new Canadian thought it was sweet to mention that it is exciting to see my little baby bump showing. It's sad that so many Canadians have to move from their hometowns/provinces in droves to financially survive and get ahead a little. Unfortunately, the droves of people fleeing Ontario and BC are driving up prices now (to buy/rent) in other parts of Canada like Alberta and Atlantic Canada where this is having a trickle effect creating Albertans, Nova Scotians, etc. to be homeless and strains on their provincial healthcare systems. It's a sad state of affairs, and I do not think a politician can fix this, unless they start demanding more and curtailing the power of corporations. A big rebalance needs to occur, but it seems unlikely when politicians and business leaders are on the same side (aka corruption / conflict of their own interests). Canada needs a division between government and business which is the case in many Scandinavian countries.

As an Indian (not living in Canada), I want to beg Canadians to stop calling them Indians. Most of them are from just 1 region of India. Don't know why you are interested in people from this 1 region only instead of providing visas to diverse group of Indians. Secondly, as you have seen recently, most of these people are anti-India and hate India and want their home region to get separated from India even if they are not living in India, they want to comment on India's sovereignty. All the racists stereotypes that you guys have are originating from this 1 community only who themselves don't think they are Indians. Your anti-India PM Trudeau found their support in these anti-India elements and now your own country is suffering because of them. Do whatever you want to do with them, just don't send them to India.

This is why I'm leaving Toronto! If we went to India and did what they do here, it would never work. Yet they want us to change our ways for them, but they treat the people that aren't Indian like trash. Personally think it's getting ridiculous.

I agree, the high prices of daily spendings on food and groceries is due to lack of competition.\n\nI realised this even in Europe ,particularly France. There is absolutely no logic behind those high prices of daily items in France when people can easily move to warmer climates, live in world class modern cities like Singapore or some city in China or those in South East Asia and spend much, much less on those without compromising on real quality.\n\nWhat i mean by real quality is maintenance of quality which ensures proper sampling and testing of those items are conducted regularly and proper rules are followed in production and business and consumers are protected from health hazards and sabotage. I think most of the rest are just unnecessary decorations in name of maintenance of quality. That is wrong on so many fronts , biggest is on business ethics and it hammers on any kind of Christian value which i know of.\n\nOligarchy or monopoly is a major problem i feel. Compared to france , Germany appears much more on right track from outside though I do not have personal experience.

i grew up in Brampton 20 years ago, a child of Caribbean parents. Whenever I go back I can say Yes, Brampton has changed over the years. I also remember that white/Canadian people were always the population struggling with substance abuse- particularly in the downtown area. Conflating the influx of indians with the downturn of white canadians seems to just fuel animosity and scape goat the issue onto a population of people that's probably just trying to seek a better life. why not ask the government to provide better social programs for those in need rather than fueling hate ? Why not investigate the structural issues that have contributed to this situation i.e. politicians gaining votes by doing xyz, or look into what people may be facing in the homelands? That would be a better piece of journalism imo. I think this video is highlighting this issue in ways history has seen before... can't we do better?

Why am i seeing middle eastern conflicts now being fought out in europe…. I think in general it should be forbidden for war camps to carry violent conflicts over…. My family moved to Montréal from the largest Greek island Crete in 1965 when I was 9 got a great education worked in mechanical/ engineering design 44 years and simultaneously 33 years as media/wedding and sports photographer as I work with top major sports team’s photographer. I’m now retired and thinking after visiting my hometown in Chania Crete the last 6-7 years I have met people that are offering me teaching jobs in AutoCAD tutoring or even night school teaching sports photography as I have a portfolio in many different sports of 40 years .. I’m proud born Greek and never gave up of my goals as I was the only Greek of 2,000 employees for a tool designer and pattern designer for a Pulp and Paper manufacturing company for 10 years in the 80s. Planning to visit again in October 2024 when schools open and kind of give back to my hometown Chania Crete.. life there is very peaceful with 100 meters to 3 beaches where all neighbours are from different parts of the world bought a house or hotel… ??❤️??

The real question is Canada vs Florida because the U.S. consists of many mini countries that have agreed on a common constitutional document and basic laws but otherwise are different countries. With that said Canada loses on every metric that matters to Florida. From economics to taxes to business to self defense and personal property Florida wins. The U.S. is secular but politicians of all nations will bring it up to some degree thinking this is somehow unique to the U.S. means you don’t understand the U.S. When it comes to political and religious diversity the U.S. has a larger population consisting of the entire world its by definition diverse. Canada doesn’t have sensible gun laws it just leaves those who can’t defend themselves at great risk.\n\nCrime is high in cities that have laws & culture closer to Canada than they do the U.S. Which have the strictest gun laws in the country. It’s bad politics & culture which are most similar to Canada that has resulted in higher crime rates. \n\nGun laws in the U.S. are for Americans to have the option to fight against a tyrannical government like we have scene in Canada with the truckers and mass freezing of bank accounts. That is what the right to bear arms was for first and foremost not just self defense. Canada ignores this entirely and instead has the perspective of give the government all the power and expect government to be “good” and act in good faith to the people which it has continually failed to do so. Canada’s statistics are no different than Australia, USA and France for example in terms of homelessness and home ownership. Our foreign born population is about 20% -Australia it’s 22% - the USA the most immigrant fearing nation around has only 13% - that’s something to strive for lady!. \n\nCanada needs immigrants and lots of them to fill positions Canadian borns are too posh to do. \n\nWorld wide interest rates are high, housing developers are running into delays with things like world wide shortages and local communities having long convoluted permit processes, and volatile prices for home construction materials etc. \n\nWe Canadians are happy to buy from Chinese and USA manufacturers to the point we depend yet again on global markets. \n\nThe bottom line is the Provinces have authority over housing and haven’t wanted the Federal Government to butt in at all. There's nothing wrong with immigration as long as it's controlled, people enter legally and do what it takes to adapt to the host countries' values. I'm from India too; I fully support nationalism, irrespective of the country; it isn't racist, as the media likes to push that narrative. The sense of community is reducing because I think there's this wall between ethnic groups. The only way to tear down the wall is to have the immigrants adapt to the host country's culture and values.\n\nI have a cousin who moved to England, and she bought a home in a predominantly white neighbourhood. A few people we know are thinking about stopping donating monthly to food banks because of the scam that some people are pulling using food banks when they are financially secure and don't need to. They just caught one foreign student who was employed for $90+ per year. He had a youtube video showing people how he eats for free using food banks.

I feel badly for this guy. He's being deported while his family is here in Canada. He's served time and I don't feel as though this was any kind of homicide. He was a novice rig driver.
