Remember how Trudeau treats the indigenous population in Canada. Police there often killed indigenous people, and will literally leave native in the wilderness so they can freeze to death and be eaten by animals in the woods.

Spot on with everything. I always rant to my friends about all of this. I’m moving to Europe from Toronto. I have a few options thanks to my work but still trying to decide which country. I guess theres a reason most Europeans don't immigrant to Canada anymore compared 2nd/3rd world countries.
\n
\nLifestyle, food quality, work culture etc. I love F1, soccer and European history, so thats always a treat while im there. I can’t see myself getting married and raising a family in Canada. Europe is beautiful and the center of the best of everything.
\n
\nCovid also exposed how corrupt the government is here as-well as the media. But people In Canada obey and love it.
\n
\nI'm thankful for the education and childhood I had in Canada but its time to move on.

Indian are usually sarcastically racist but if you are visiting India they will treat you like you are really special. They have a saying for this, they treat their guests pretty well. You might get some looks but Indians will never treat you like this Karen. Also isn't 1 in 5 doctors in USA an Indian, americans will have a health crisis if all these people decided to move back.

Hum fir se dosti ka haath badhayenge, voh hume fir se dhoka denge uri yaa pathankot ki tarah. \nYeh aman ki asha, gaana bajana, naye rishte kayam karna ek hadd tak theek hai..\nPakistan ek dushman mulk hai aur use usi tarah treat krna chahiye. Earlier i used to think about the same but now i dont.\nAur haan..\nMeri narrow minded soch mujhe mubarak, aur aap logo ki broad minded soch aapko.

I know of a few taxi drivers that have law degrees or a PhD in the way they get treated is astounding the young need to be educated not just the Young the ignorant people say they're taking our jobs they're taking our jobs because they're work ethic is 100 times better in some cases in most cases people that are from a country that has benefited them wouldn't know damn thing about a hard life. I have experienced or found amount of trauma in my life in and out of foster homes the day I was born adopted at age 9 back in foster care , addicted to opiates I thought life couldn't get any worse I am now 6 years clean from opiates I find myself among the luckiest women or person on this Earth. Good for you two for educating people thank you I hope you ladies get everything you have worked hard for and then some even though what you're saying sounds unfair it is unfair it sounds to me extremely difficult you remain hopeful and humble. Women such as yourselves are the ones that actually make Canada a great country thank you take care

Most racist type of people are Punjabis. They have no regard to other people, they don’t speak English and expect people to speak in Punjabi. They have zero respect for local customs and any place they immigrate to they try to write and speak in Punjabi and don’t adapt. The racism even flows down to their kids who look down upon others and don’t treat non punjabi kids with respect.

Quebec...get right. I was born in that hell-hole and as an English kid growing up in the highly separatist east end of Montreal my childhood was miserable. The french are so bent on having their own little country they treated anglos like dirt. Try driving east towards New Brunswick and stopping anywhere to get food or whatever, you better parlez the francais or you'll be looked at like you a criminal. How dare you speak the hinglich au Quebec. Best province my ass. They don't even consider themselves a part of Canada. Take the once named St. Jean Baptiste holiday on June 24th, it's now la fete nationale. Sure sounds Canadian right! You got your list upside down, this video is garbage.

Retirement! senior care is terrible in Canada, especially in Quebec.\nKnowing how seniors are treated, I would leave when I reach retirement age

So.... The #1 province in Canada is also the one province that threatened to leave Canada on how many occassions?? Referendum in 1980, another in 1995, and..also one in 1919...when they first wanted to separate. The Quebec gov't treats Anglos that live there like 2nd class citizens and pass out language fines if French isn't displayed 2x as large on storefront signs...English family speaking kids cannot attend public schools in English, all are taught in French. There are only 3 english speaking higher education schools out of 17 universities and over 70 colleges.\nImmigrants have 6 months to learn French in that province, after that, correspondence with the gov't is all in French.\nAhh...Plus...\nHow many political and social organizations are there in this province that actually PROMOTE the separation and outright superiority of Quebec over the rest of Canada? \n\nFrench supremacist much??\n\n?\nRiiiiiiighttttt....

Throughout the decades, Quebecers have voted in legions of woefully ignorant politicians who understand virtually nothing of the day to lives of the people they purport to represent and politicians that have never wavered in their misguided attempts to create disharmony amongst citizens in the name of protecting the French language which should have been an integral part of the education system from the beginning. Most people get along very well with one another and; politics aside and as one who has travelled extensively throughout Canada, I concur with Quebec being the number one best province to live in. On the other hand, if you are part of the native population throughout Canada which has been treated criminally and shamelessly by all that came later and will still be seeking completion of restitution for culture, freedom, land and life that was taken from you and your forebears a century from now, I totally appreciate that you may be offended by this entire exercise.

My close friend’s father successfully treated the brain cancer at the stage when the surgery was too late to do. So, you do get the real help when you need and it will be free

Your better off doing it on your own even in a different country, if you are treated better, with lower taxes and better standard if life, then go for it, because if your hoping your vote and your government will be their for you, your living in a dream, they don't care, especially in Canada, which has gotten worst over the years. Has nothing to do with bring a patriot, its your choice if you want a better life. Don't believe the hype.

In the U.S., for healthcare, you would pay something like $7,500 for a 'bronze' package, $11,000 for a 'silver' package, and $17,000 for a 'gold' package. In Canada, on average, citizens pay about $7000 in taxes which covers it all, only does it for everyone. You'll hear people complain about government mismanagement, but most of the countries in the world do a damn good job of it. Much better than the heartless system the U.S. has. My father collapsed and went to have his heart-valve replaced at the Heart institute in Ottawa. I paid for parking and needing a place to stay, they allowed me to stay at the doctor's onsite residence. That was it. My father-in-law had his knee-replacement surgery pushed back because more critical needs were placed on the operating room. Healthcare in Canada is a team effort, so treating things like Covid with respect was done much more diligent. Canada had less deaths than places like Florida or Texas. Don't understand where this 80% coverage statement comes from.

I can’t agree with you more. I think they don’t trust their neighbours and also too much formality kills openness and friendship. We in India enjoy our neighbours’ company and children play and cycle outside. Also we keep visiting our neighbours’ house and exchange treats and food. \nIndians visiting the west complain about these unfriendly ways quite a lot and dread to go there.

I wished there were more videos like this one. When it comes renting its just unbelievable how hard is to get renting when you are black women and Muslims. My stories will shocked the World if I tell how I was treated when I was looking for an apartment for rent. So sad

hi there, boring Canadian here lol I found your take on Canada from an immigrant from an immigrant point of view interesting and informative. particularly your take on Canadians as indirect rather than polite and also as a history buff I have long wondered if your country's very late exist from the serfdum system contributed to the continuing acceptance and swing from swing from a far left then to the far right system authoritarian. this question isn't meant as any type of personal criticism and definitely predates most resent current events. also is your tshirt a pun or strictly in reference to the yummy but unhealthy treat lol

So sad, when Canada sends billions of $$$ to foreign countries, when Canada is in so much debt, and temporary refugees are not treated like humans, they should get what they need to live with dignity????✝️?

If Ukrainians were Muslim jihadist they'd be getting treated like loyalty.
|
| 2022-03-30 | 1 |
Why are the Muslims who we don't want here to begin with get all the favoritism and Goldstar Healthcare and money to be here? Why are Ukraine's not treated the same way we actually want them here
|

relax ppl. Ukrainians receive work permits upon arrival and no ohip, no any benefits are availableforbthem. so don't worry. imagine the stink if other refugees in Canada receive just work permit right in airport and zero other support. no shelters, no food lol. ?\nBut thank you Canadian government for letting people some temporary safe place. it's more than enough and better than being killed. but all refugees should be treated same way. aren't that be fare? love to all

To be racist is to lack empathy towards fellow human beings and lack remorse for abusive actions.\nLack of empathy and remorse are a key traits of psychopaths/ sociopaths. \nTherefore Racist are psychopaths or Sociopaths. (A threat to society)\n\nRacism isn’t limited to just White ppl. Any person can be racist.\n\nWe all have to check ourselves and make sure we treat everyone the way we would like to be treated.\nOur goal should be to eradicate Racism. I truly believe we can do it in the 21 Century.

The housing market is out of control due to money laundering and low interest rates, national debt is rapidly increasing, inflation rising rapidly, the medical 'emergency' is out of control and destroying the economy and civil liberties. Europeans are becoming a minority in every major city, and If you think that white minority is going to be treated kindly, you're for a rude awakening.

I disagree that the treatment of Rory is treated. The hand shake and asking his name are indicators of interest while the other two have no indicators...that is big deal when making like decisions like finding a home

My wife moved here 25 years ago luckily she is a European trained musician, all her credentials were recognized and she is still teaching music here in Alberta. \nAt first she was very homesick understandably but.luckily we were able to move her aging parents here 16 years ago. They got treated like royalty by the Canadian Government compared to my Canadian born parents showered with benefits even though they never worked in Canada one day. I know this is no.longer the case for new.immigrants but on the whole Canada has one of the most generous immigration policies on the planet.\nI feel for new.immigrants it's a very rough transition to make but after 200 plus years in Canada I thank my ancestors for taking a huge risk in coming here every day.

To me, the problem is threefold. a) Toronto and Ontario in general - and perhaps the whole of Canada - are accepting way more immigrants than they have quality jobs for. If you need taxi drivers and plumbers, maybe this experience should be valued way higher than education as part of the existing immigration programs (which is not the case). At least then potential immigrants know this before they come and get stuck in low-paying or relatively OK-paying but repetitive and demoralizing jobs with debts and mortgages that become a trap preventing them from leaving. It's also partially on immigrants themselves who come to Toronto to only find out there's 100 people competing for one spot and that you need to be exceptional - or connected through your ethnic network - to work regular white-collar jobs. b) The official bipartisan policy of non-integration. The naive expectation that having people live in ethnic enclaves will somehow make the overall culture richer is not what happens: instead, people tend to stick to their own communities and the common culture thus gets eroded and limited to economic and financial matters. This makes some cities feel like one large business with everyone networking 24/7 instead of socializing normally. And arguably, having the right culture / social life is what motivates already successful people move in the first place. So when they come and they find out there's nothing but money talk and hustling, they leave (if they're smart). Quebec is doing better in that regard, but then Quebec is not really Canada and it's been pressured to cave in to the same money-centred, uncultured and disconnected society by the feds for decades now. The States is smarter in that it actually makes sure to integrate its immigrants (and let's be honest, many immigrants like being part of a new culture if it fits them) c) Treating real estate as an investment and not as a basic necessity (as Japan or some Nordic countries do, for example). That coupled with a lot of Asian money being laundered in Canada through immigration channels and private equity firms buying whole apartment blocks for rental purposes has led to the highest housing price increase in all of the developed world in the past 20 years or so. The median price of a condo in Toronto is higher than in New York despite the massive gap in salaries and the fact that New York is one of the most expensive cities in the world to begin with. Some draconian measures are needed here to prevent foreign - or even out-of-province ownership -, second property ownership and corporate ownership for renting purposes.

There's a form of discrimination that's rarely talked about but is certainly there - how physically attractive someone is. One of the problems with this, of course, is it's subjective but there are certainly some generalities like being considered pretty or handsome versus mediocre or unattractive. There's also body composition - slender vs not. How do these things have an effect on getting hired or finding an apartment. It may not be as significant but would it also affect shopping in how a person is treated, even if they aren't being closely monitored for theft.\n\nThen there's age-ism.

Well that was infuriating. Regina do better! Come on! Even if he was going to shoplift you don't have any empathy for the fact that the man was looking at BABY FOOD??? Seriously? Dude was just existing and they were treating him like they were undercover cops about to do a bust or sting operation. Ugh.

I was born here and lived in Canada all my life. I have travelled to many places as well. I love the country of my birth, but our government has corrupted things beyond an easy repair. These ladies are correct. We are no longer the “brand” as advertised. The government propaganda has people convinced we are the same country, while they steal what is left from our pockets and over-work those who still care for its’ people. It is not just immigrants who should consider other places to live. Go where you are treated the fairest - I have trouble finding real evidence that is here.

I am a British Columbian who briefly lived in Quebec, when the army posted me there for basic, I have to say Quebec is horrible, outside of Montreal, if you do not speak French. I also spent 5 years in Alberta & I would rank Alberta as number ☝️ of all of Canada’s provinces. \n\nThat all being said, I am sick of this country’s politics. I deeply regret serving this country due to how badly our current PM has treated us veterans, only PM to ever sue veterans & make massive cuts to veterans support funding. Furthermore, he is most corrupt in our history, & easily the least democratic or respectful to our laws and/or constitution… yet he has been re-elected TWICE!… because… reasons ??♂️ I do not know how dumb you have to be to vote liberal given Trudeau’s horrible track record on a laundry list of issues. I am personally done with this country, you stab veterans in the back & reward those who did the backstabbing… yeah, I’m out, bye. No one should be bothered with serving Canada, not worth it!!!

What exactly do a shoplifter looks like?\nAlso, I feel most African Americans are usually more open to accept all ethnicity. Now, you treat them wrong and their attitude will change towards the individual.

Aashir azeem sb aap nay baatain bauhat aachi key hain. No doubt Canada aik bauhat aacha mulk tha abhi bhi aachaiaan hain iss mulk mein, per zindagi kaafi tough ho chuki hai. GTA mein rents aasmaan ko chu rahay hain. Ziyadah tar logon kay pass chotti chotti jobs hai. Million dollar say kum ghar nahi. Car insurance intehai mehangi hai. Jab tak minimum 3 say 4 ghar kay banday na kama-ain guzarah mumkin nahi. Uss mulk mein koi kisi key help nahi karta specially Pakistanis, iss kay illawah be-inteha qanooni restrictions hain. Jahan tak Pakistan key baat hai Pakistan jannat bun sakta tha or ab bhi bun sakta hai agar bureaucracy, judiciary or politicians theek ho jaain. Yeh teen shobay bauhat taqatwar hain or qom ko Kuttay say bhi budtar treat kartay hain. Pakistan mein jis key lathi uss key bhans ka qanoon hai, per phir bhi mein Pakistan ko prefer karta hoon kyunkeh iss mulk per Allah key rehmat hai. Agar aap Allah key saheeh tariqah say ibadat kartay hain, her waqt Allah say maddad maangtay hain to kabhi bhi Allah aap ko ruswa nahi karta. Hum mein khud mein bhi to khaamiaan hain, Amreeka, Canada per bharosa kartay hain or Allah per nahi. Agar aap key aachi simple zindagi Pakistan mein guzar rahi hai to meri nazar mein yeh Amreeka, Canada say crore gunah behtar hai.

Might be true and it happens whenever you go .. specially to a new country \n\nSorry guys your information is nonsense and came from a personal experience !
