I find it interesting how much Canada claims too hate America but tries so hard to be America.

Tim hortons is all over in the U.S. and for some reason my sons new girl friend from Canada had to come here to become an eye doctor Weird. Student visa I guess. And we took her for breakfast the other day at a Cracker Barrel restaurant and she never had a biscuit before. We hear a great deal about racism, but never any comparative statistics that prove or disprove it. What I am trying to say is: is there any reason why this prejudice exists in the first place?\nIn Edmonton a few years ago an aboriginal man died of a stroke while waiting for triage in a hospital emergency area. IF I remember correctly, police and hospital staff alike assumed he was drunk, not suffering a stroke. I think the chances of someone in a downtown lower east side area being drunk is much higher than having a stroke. So staff just assumed he was drunk. \nIf more people of all ethnic backgrounds behaved more like whites would that suspicion disappear? I wonder if there is a logical and reasonable explanation for why shop keepers feel they way they do.

Hey Yes there is a problem of racism in Canada too. They will not show directly but indirectly will do that at most of the places. Its really rude especially when i try to help out somebody or don’t have any intentions to hurt people. I always try to make people happy and smile. Why is that? Before anything we are all humans, that should all matters. Please being respectful to everybody, you never know how the person is already going through in their lives. As a Muslim, I disagree with the Muslims coming to Canada and trying to change the culture. We have to respect the culture of the western world, just like how travellers who go to the east have to respect the rules. I know this seems weird, coming from Europe, but I absolutely love North American food culture (Mexico, Canada and U.S.A). Firstly they all drink A LOT of cola and although their food is unhealthy it just taste soooo good? God this documentary is so flawed. The symphony? Really? You are comparing the 50s from today? There were much less immigrants in Canada back then. There were less immigrants and ppl of color that played instruments. And those that did, less of them actually tried out for a symphony. And then the blind resume test totally proved no bias. While I am daily trying to pass the English test to be eligible for getting Canadian PR, these people just pay money and get PR easily. Even I knew a lot of foreign students are paying money for faked marriage to become Canadian citizen, what a shame on that. I can afford that money but I never want to break the rule. It is really disheartening to see all this. I had a dream of coming to canada for study when I was young but due to lack of money I failed to come. After that I always wanted to try find a job from outside canada I failed. I am in a situation that I see no way to come to canada . I always wanted to to come work hard make money and start a good life, moreover i had plans to setup my business there with that money and give others the job. And these scammers have it so easy way out . Seems like honesty has no place left. At least give them harsh punishments that will make genuine people feel better.

Canada is way tougher then the United States on immigration...in fact Trump would like to change the American system so it is more like Canada's. As a Canadian with a Honduran wife .. I tried to arrange a visit to Canada for my my wife and our small daughter and they rejected us...so I have lived in Honduras for the last 15 years.

I'm really not sure what Trudeau said to make him and other undocumented immigrants buy into this fallacy, but its a known fact that immigration to Canada is strict. Its actually far more stringent than even the US. He also does not qualify for asylum after having lived in the US for 15 years. I'm just confused about this whole thing?
