We live in N.Y. about 2 hrs from the border to Canada and we love to go to NOTL for a quick vacation whenever we can - usually 4 or 5 times a year! We find Canadians to be WAY more chill than Americans and we love visiting Canada. One thing I'll tell you is figure out the insurance because we've had employees who didn't bother to do this resulting in them having none. When that happens, and you file your income taxes, the IRS takes a fine out of your return. The first year it's like $100, but it goes up each year. After a few years they can fine you like $600. Depending on how much you earn you may be able to apply for assistance in paying your health care premium or may not have to pay at all. I would encourage you to do that before you start getting fined...and welcome to the USA lol!

Whenever I take a flight within the states they always let veterans and those who have served in the army board first which is fine by the way. I just find it interesting because we don't do that in Canada at all. Veterans get a special license plate and maybe a parade once a year?

first of all we should stop this guilt trip about Muslims. if anybody wants to study Qur'an he she will see the book is full of hate. Muslims want to conquer the world either by converting or beheading. Please people don't be stupid. how is it possible that Canada is selling its own heritage and absorbing ones of any ethnic groups that come here. it should be the the groups that come here to respect the heritage and law of this country. it is the fault of spineless politicians that will kiss the asses of any group that whines the loudest. our leaders contributed to tge destruction of muslim homes by going to their countries to rob them form OIL. Now the gutless, two faced politicians welcome them here and giving them what's ours. I tell you what to do......stay away from their countries, don't send our soldiers to their men, women and children. let them govern themselves. Canada is not fighting for freedom, those countries never attacked us. we follow Zionists, the small group of globalists who want to destroy nations. WAKE up sheeple.

To people who say That Canada is their country\nCanadian themselves are immigrants and they were immigrants once. Attacking natives and taking over their land is something that all Canadians should remember. What a steaming pile of bs. In Saudi Arabia 4 people a week are beheaded women are only 1/4 a person as a male, and on and on I am coming to the conclusion that Islam and freedom and democracy are mutually exclusive.  Canada was a free country before all this gender blending neo-Marxist culture war and we need to get back on track.  And by the way when it comes to analyzing the macro socio-economic situation I am intellectually a Marxist but I'm all about freedom and democracy being the first and most important first step.  These would be cultural relativists vanguard of the proletariat gender blending 3rd wavers need to go back to their offices and once again lose themselves in their navel gazing and pay heed to Plato's injunction in the Republic to leave the masses in the microcosm alone.

Speaking as a white man I have to admit I don't quite understand the need for anyone to organize as a race in Canada. First generation clubs from whatever country, sure, but as a race? Is it the elephant in the room... American slavery?  I can't help but think that most perceived problems blacks have in Canada are due to American issues we see in movies and media.\nWe in Canada bend over backwards to offer opportunity to succeed. Even touching on racism is widely and loudly crushed. I personally, as do most, give any individual the opportunities they deserve but it's up to them to screw it up or not. To me, if any minority can't make it in this society they aren't trying.\nIt's actually worse in my mind to be white male in public forums because our views and opinions are marginalized and shouted down. Youtube and the internet are the few forums where honest feelings and opinions can be spoken. No one with anything to lose would say this in public for fear of attacks from the thought police. Pretty sad we live in a free country that actually doesn't allow free speech from all. I guess some are more free than others.\nKeep telling me I'm unfair and bad, when I'm not and I might actually grow resentment and the very prejudice you're complaining about.
