Indian visa officials are always whimsical. They should have made their visa refusal policy transparent and stop acting like the next USA. Even the USA embassy is more transparent and efficient than any Indian visa office. I strongly believe it's not his personal fault but rather India as a country should change their policies.

We look for opportunities that’s why we are spreading all over the world wherever we see any. Future of world is Indians & Chinese. We both are culturally sound and capable enough to adopt & grow in any environment of any country. Now see in next 25 years Asians will take Canada to where Canadian themselves have never been able to take it to. Today we are getting Engineers Doctors to Aeronautical Specialists to Labour in Warehouses, Manufacturing plants & Crop fields to Professors, Politicians to scientists, bankers, investment planners to Food retailers, Restaurants workers, City workers to Skilled workers. We are everywhere trying our best to shape the beautiful future of ours as well as of this country now. So better stop spreading hate towards us. You will regret later.

Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

Well as an Indian living in India , I will come out clean their is joke in our friend group if you have no aspiration ( as it is very competitive here in india ) and have some cash lying around just dump some and move to canada . \nand i don't mean only they come there but ones with patents are mostly assimilated in America by some scholarship .\nSo you most likely get the worst of the lot . So if those Indians start taking drugs and go homeless like those Canadian-born junkies you talked to, that would mean integration and adapting to the new home's culture?! I'm neither Indian nor Canadian-born but c'mon! What's wrong if those Indians listen to their parents who advised them to go to college, get a degree and and then get good job while those Canadian-born white parents told their kids do whatever that pleases you and become what makes you happy? Instead why not white people try to teach their kids the value of education and learning new skills so that they won't turn to junkies and homeless in their 60s relying on churches to feed them?!

As a Pakistani immigrant, I worked on my accent, cultural education. I have almost no Pakistani or Indian friends, for the very reason that I came here for what Canada is and what it has to offer. To integrate. I have a hard time with folks whatever their nationality, but who are huddled around more of themselves all for the reason of familiarity and comfort. When I take the train in Edmonton from school, it’s hundreds of Indians talking full blast, in Indian and standing on the escalator, plugging it up, they never allow any movement like cattle cars. It’s a head fuck for sure.

The last time I went to Canada, the airport was so full of Indians. Truly didn't even feel like I was in North America at all.

Why don't Indians like India?

I bet another reason the government would rather have rentals is they usually pay twice the property taxes that homeowners do. That can amount to tens of thousands a year difference in tax revenue for each and every property on a street. Sad but true.....\nStill I have to agree with the high immigration numbers. It seems I've always had a general idea of what a Canadian looks like but the past years I'm regularly seeing people that look Chinese, Indian, African, Arab.... all kinds of ethnic looks calling themselves Canadian. i am from hamilton and we are still very diverse here. yes brampton is quiet loaded with indians. i think what has failed is the requirements for immigration has dropped. i mean we use to have highly educated people come in but now the standards have dropped. so anyone with low standards can come walk in. pubjabi votes for jagmeet or trudeau and they are the group with highest crimes in india the state of punjab and there is a big drug and drinking culture that comes here. the minute our standards grow up with immigration requirements then we will get more educated bunch coming in. when we have greedy power hungry people run the country this is what happens. now people are fed up. the other day i was at freshco and some white guys started to lecture me and he openly admitted he is a racist. i pulled out my camera and started to record. he backed off but he could have done anything. he rude and stupid. i was also quiet upset. people were not like this and were more accepting. i can understand his frustration but he said openly he was racist and called me Fxxxxxxx indian etc... this is out of line. i also gave him a mouth full. i told him i have been here 35 years and his mood changed but its quiet disappointing how people react. its not safe or respectful. not sure where we are headed in canada.

the exact same thing is happening in Ireland right now, there's Indians everywhere, they're mostly law abiding decent people but I don't want to be surrounded by Indians babbling in their own language and making me feel like I'm in a foreign land, imagine working all day with Indians and they hardly utter one word to you all day and just speak to each other in their own language, it's not fun, plus they are willing to work longer hours for less pay and worse conditions and live in worse conditions like paying high rent to share a room with multiple people, it's lowering the standard of living for us, not just Indians all migrants

Punjabis in foreign are very anti-India, yet they retain their OCI cards. Why do these Angrez- Sikhs have a say in Indian politics when they have become nationals of other countries like Canada, the UK, and the USA? I don't see Gujarati or other Indian communities that have settled abroad, become so anti-Indian. Only the Punjabi think it is only their issues that matter and need publicity. By the way, I have personally seen a lot of discrimination in their community, especially between Jatt and Dalit Sikhs. Maybe they should look within, before looking for a new state.

Whether you want Indians or Central Asians, Middle Easterners, their characteristics are not surgical, their characteristics are the same, so be careful, if immigrants want to look for work, give them work, don't give them citizenship rights, then things you don't want will happen, like in Europe and America.

There are some valid points in the video. However, I didn't get it when you said there are people here who don't look Canadian and don't feel Canadian. Punjabi Sikhs from India have been part of Canada since the early 1900s, and alot more came in the 1970s.... So the sikhs have been part of Canada for a long time... Now, coming back to immigration point, blame the federal govt. and not the people.... I have alot points on why Indian people live in Brampton but..... I'm a truck driver, my old workplace was about 80% Indian. The break room smelled like fish everyday it was horrible!!! Jokes aside there's a lot of Chad Indians, they come here to work and that's ALL they do. Literally nothing else, just work, pray and sleep. Nothing wrong with that but companies have started to expect you to work for nothing and work like 65 hour weeks because they have an endless stream low-income workers from India to do it. I don't blame them for the lack of good gigs but I do blame companies for exploiting newcomers to Canada and modelling their business on the fact they can hire temporary workers

Makes me sad. 1.4 billion Indians and expect to increase to another 400 million (!!!) in 75 years. Pakistan also has very, very high birth rates. Almost feels like reverse colonialization from all the British territories. First, they converted the UK and then to the other commonwealth nations. With China making up 18% of the world's population, India at 18% and Africa at 18% expect to see more from these 3 countries (the last is a continent). Although once they have citizenship they are all Canadians. Shame the interviewer only talked to almost homeless non-Indian Canadians! They will all have to learn English or French eventually, and drink Tim Hortons. Need for better integration and municipal planning. Let's see what the next election brings for the Prime Minister.
