You can be disillusioned or you can just accept the facts. I know a guy who's family moved from Spain to Argentina when Spain had a downturn in their economy. Now he has moved BACK to Spain when Argentina's economy took a downturn. Iran was nice for women in the 70's, now not so much. Countries go up and down throughout time. As an American I am pleased that you've made this decision. Islamic values are TOTALLY incompatible with the West and I'm sure you'll be happy in any Muslim country. Muslims always had assimilation issues with the west and will continue to have, no matter how much a muslim tries to adjust to western values (which muslims actually don’t try anyways). Good for you. I hope you find a nice muslim country to move to. Where you will have a nice life in a total muslim country. When you are there please inform all muslims, especially the ones who are thinking to emigrate to any western country, that they should stay where they are. It will also be a very good thing if you can persuade other muslim in west to move back to their respective country. May I suggest one of the MENA countries. They are very religous there and you wouldn't be harassed by any Christins, jews , hindus or other religions. They simply don't exist there. You don't have to bother about elections and other western nonsens. Just pray 5 times a day and on Friday ,go to the mosque and the iman will tell you everthing you need to know.

Please leave, take other muslims. Iam not even canadian and I saw on news these muslims saying they need shariya law in canada. Shariya and democracy won't go hand in hand. Just leave and take that muslim idiology with you. Let canada live peacefully without your peaceful religion..

Also please do consider Oman. It’s a beautiful truly Islamic country. The Omani Arabs are most respectful and calm people. I loved living there. \nYou can drive and visit dubai in 4 hours. Believe me you don’t want to live there. It’s like Disney land. Visit have loads of fun then return home to wonderful Oman. If you work there as an expat you are provided lovely accommodation, tax free income and a tickets to your home country every year during your month off. \nIt’s super clean and many US, Canadian, European expats extend their contracts to stay longer because of the luxurious lifestyle.

I have to ask are you giving up your Canadian citizenship? And I have to tell you I bet you are going to keep it. And although I agree with some things eg: the extreme stance and slide into extreme liberalism, your move is one extreme to the other, and despite the cancel culture here it still stands for real freedom when compared to the middle east. So please do us a favor and if war breaks out where you are going to, please do not ask the Canadian people and government (like so many islamic homesick have in the past) to rescue you at the monetary expense and potential risk to our Canadian men and womens lives- that would be so insulting not to mention hypocritical and Canadians take note of such things and they don't forget. Having said that have a good trip or I guess I should say permanent move.
