I don’t think there would have been a Brampton if majority of white Canadians were welcoming to brown people irrespective of their nationality. Integration is only possible if there is a willingness to interact with new immigrants. This is not to say that immigrants who commit crimes shouldn’t be booted. There is an inherent problem of selective racism based on the skin colour in the Canadian society which is felt by the new immigrants and is the only reason they find comfort in their own people and stay together. Also, government should put a cap on the number of immigrants from one country like the US has done.

For the reason that old white generation was aging and demanding Pension and Health Care. Welfare Chest was showing bottom and had to be replenished by tax money. Young tax payers were needed. India, China and Black Carribian were overflowing with young workers...so they had swollow Colored immigrants. Country was the largest but most commercia cities are at border of America, because north is brutal cold. Canada could not build population. 30m (10% of USA.) And Economically behind CA$= 0.80USD. Let the Visa expire...and went back to my old country to Start my Consultancy office. Lived in upper middle class tier and retiring with comfortable cushion to survive . The common reasons why Brampton has so many Indians.\n1) Even in India there are 22 official languages, but unofficial 121 languages with over 700 different dialects. In Brampton, the majority are Punjabi and Gujarati. These names first come from the language they speak, later to the Indian State. Each language represents a culture. I'm not a huge fan of massive immigration but I honestly think the reason some of the white Canadians are homeless is because they don't want to work. Indians who come here all support each other and they're willing to do anything to make money; pizza delivery, 7/11 clerk, etc...they live in small spaces...many of them together and within a few years of hardship they save enough money to buy homes. This is not the case with some of the Canadians or Quebecors for that matter. They make fun of immigrants but are unwilling to do dirty jobs and would prefer to live off welfare....once I told a white bum who seemed in good health to go and find work, he got very aggressive. I retuned to Canada, and now live in Toronto, after 16 years overseas, and I believe that your comments are fair, balanced and reasonable. I believe that the issues are primarily the result of failure of governance at every level. We all know that we need significant immigration if we are to support our rapidly aging population, but simply bringing new people in without effective plans to integrate them into our society is a predictable recipe for trouble.

I am American born. Came to Canada in 1981 after marrying a Cdn girl. Also, I became a Canadian in 1989, holding on to two citizenships. Fast forward 20 years, and divorce finally showed up. I moved back Stateside when my brother had his 2nd heart attack, to help him with every day things. I was there 10 years before finally moving back to Canada. I knew I would always move back to Canada anyway. Life is just less stressful here. Less to worry about. No fighting for retirement like so many do in the USA for their Social Security for example. No fighting for disability if you need that here. Concerns like that are well looked after in Canada, helping to make sure everyone can live a reasonable standard and quality of life without a battle to do so. The social structure is safer as well. No big gun issues. In the States, I had a reaction to ALEVE which forced me into hospital. 7 hours in, and 5,000 later, I was released. 700 for the EMT ride as well. 1/2 mile ride. In 2017, I had a mild heart attack in Canada. 7 days in. MRI's and every other test you can imagine was done. My total bill was 49 .00. That was for parking, as I drove myself the few blocks to the hospital. It was the only time I had to be in hospital in the 30 years i've been in Canada and I was thankful that we all pitch in to take care of each other with out healthcare. The USA is fine for some but it's no Canada :)

The delivery guy made the mistake of not recording the customer as well! This type of behavior by anyone is unprofessional and should be reported to the place of the customer's employment. The customer also talks in an accent and not because hes mocking the indian accent but it seems he has a jamaican ,Haitian , or African accent. He calls the indian guy brown and thats clearly an indication of racism. Putting the food on the ground and mocking him to pick it up is an indication of superiority and he is trying to degrade the delivery person. this in itself is a form of harassment i can venture a guess as to what color the customer is! I see alot of negative comments against indians and a lack of support for indians and thats only because most other races simply dislike indians. If the delivery person was a black man or hispanic i bet there would be riots all over the place. The name of the game is..if you are too kind you will get stepped all over.
