i see these types of videos all the time, i'm sure there are a lot of videos similar saying something about why ppl are leaving that country (Italy, Japan, Bulgaria, Greece etc ...) \ni think the title is correct, there are a lot of delusional ppl in the world who want \na) amazing 6 figure salary \nb) affordable housing \nc) perfect weather\nd) safety with zero violence \ne) perfect infrastructure (health care, transportation, police etc ...)\nf) easy immigration process\nseriously? try getting a Citizenship in the Scandinavian countries and see how that goes!\nthere is NO country that checks all those boxes and in the it's always these immigrants who talk trash about a country they are TRYING to immigrate to while their country is rapidly declining\ni'm grateful for this country and i'm not ignorant, i've travelled to more than 60 countries so i've seen how ppl live around the world and Canada is in the top 5 countries to live in the world maybe top 3 honestly (i'm not being biased, i wasn't even born here) \nppl need to realize that \na) not many countries have open doors where you can just pick where you wanna immigrate to\nb) immigration process is painfully long and expensive, especially to countries where many ppl wanna immigrate to\nc) quality of life is RELEVANT to cost of living so stop thinking that you can get this AMAZING quality of life for a cheap cost\nd) your College Degree from some school nobody has heard of is pretty much useless wherever you immigrate to so don't think you'll be flooded with jobs and that you'll be making 6 figures in a matter of months\ne) you're not that special and the country will not revolve around you, what you want and what you need\nf) there are probably millions of ppl at this very moment who live in much worse conditions than you do so stop complaining about it and be grateful

I am German , lived in Ontario Toronto area from 2007 to 2010 houses and rent was half of it what you pay today. Houses in Canada are 5 times the price as the equivalent in the US.

I moved up from the USA with my family 5 years ago. I like it here a lot. Now we all have PR and soon to be citizens. I like the fact I can live in Canada or the USA (Also Japan as my wife is Japanese citizen). Canada is very good place to live though it is hard to make friends especially if your not in school anymore.

The problem is the US, we need to fix our problems at home with immigration first!!!! \nWe have immigrants on the waiting list, doing the right thing by following the law!!! Waiting in line to have there case and situation heard.\n\n Immigrants from the 60s 80s never got free housing free food were never allowed to enter the country the way the immigrants today are just entering and they're staying in 5 star hotels in New York City never in the country's history has it been seen.\n Never in the country's history has resources from US citizens been given to immigrants I have entered illegally.\n And now if you are from Venezuela you're ahead of the line ahead of all the people that've been waiting to legalize their status these people are just getting documents faster than everybody else why is that.\n We need to fix the situation in our country first and take care of the people that are in line doing it the right way.

as a canadian i look at their immagration and wish we had that strict of a immigration, fucking immigrants ruined our economy and house, now new generations of canadian cant fucking afford to live in a house, and fucking lettuce is $5, so food is also becoming unaffordable as well, fuck this country

But some Mainland China immigrants have lived in Canada for 5 years have become Canadian citizen cannot have dual citizenship in China and then fly back to China can get foreigners pr card in China.

These are the people who resort to juggars, which is why they spent a decade in Australia without PR. Now they’re branding themselves as a success story whereas all they are doing is discouraging people coming through the right pathway. I still know people who got their passports (not just PR) within 5 years of landing in Australia. Hope those kind of people can also come forward as examples.

schools in America and Canada are DAYCARE. they aren't Schools. also you seriously forgot to mention the rampant BULLYING that goes on., your child WILL be made fun of whether he is white black or any other race. dealing with that is scary frustrating and really hurtful. even priyanka Chopra was bullied as was I many many times by all races except Indian (I am Indian NRI living and working in New York City as a teacher in public and private schools including college courses for 20 years now). your children WILL suffer in the primary and secondary school systems here. ONLY college is where you can actually be expelled or arrested for certain types of bullying. Have been living in Toronto about 5 years . Constant living on Survival mode, do whatever it takes to pay the bills. Very stressful. Not a lot of opportunities. The housing is very expensive. The income and housing is not balance. Example: $1.5 million house, 5%interest, about $8500 months mortgage, plus insurance, bills,payments, food, how many people can afford???.

Why do we need a 45 yr old mother of 5 from the Philippines to come and make sandwiches at Subway. I mean if free market means a Canadian can open a franchise however their staff is hired by foreign workers. Then this is not capitalism working for Canadians.

So you leave your home country that is not the best in the world that we understand … to come live in a better place that’s so so far so so cold just to find yourself paying 80% of your income to rent a crappy 1 bedroom then after work you watch tv because it’s too cold and too boring and too expensive to go out … or you can work night and day so after 5 to 10 years you can put a down payment for a million dollar old town house that needs tons of work …. Well to be honest pretty much all of North America shares these symptoms and has been on a downhill the last 5 years, some faster, some slower.. drugs and housing are ruining it everywhere.

I came here as a student back in 2017 it took me more than 5 years to understand the system.. I lost so many things after all this years.. Now things have changed for everyone.. My time has come to live my rest of my life in a better place...

Third party services always reject visas,OCI for some small little nonsense reasons so they can keep on charging fees again and again. This is the way they make money. They rejected my visa even after all the documents filled out and completed properly. Even to call them they charge 4/5 dollars per minutes. And though you have spoken 3 minutes, they charge you for 5 to 10 minutes.

If I can afford a home, why would I want to leave? The housing crisis is a big deal for many. You can't find suitable rental in the GTA when you make well over 120k cad a year. It's not just the barriers in professions. It's the lies about prosperity and growth fed to the immigrants. You just need to work hard, and you'll live your dream is a lie. Immigrants end up eating from their savings instead of saving. Fix the housing crisis, invest in public education and health, and no will will want to leave this beautiful country. The more you earn, the more you are taxed and if you are a single earner in your family, you're punished for it. I don't want to go out and work and leave my kids in daycare when my husbad is doing a good job. I don't want my kids being raised by strangers while me and my husband struggle to maintain a decent lifestyle. When 120k isn't enough for a family of 5, it's time to leave.

Gone are the days of Coming to Canada with 5 dollars in your pocket and working your way up to a middle class lifestyle with a house and kids ..Its gotten to the point where even people with full time jobs are homeless and having to use food banks . plus there is not enough infrastructure for all the immigrants in the last few years putting strain on public health , schools , ect...

Who in the hell would now want to immigrate to Canada ? Outrageous housing costs which consume most of your income . One has to work at least two to three jobs just to try to keep from completely drowning economically . A healthcare system which is on life support . It is next to impossible to get a doctor . Emergency waits times at hospitals can range from 4 to 24 hours . Traffic from hell in all of the major cities .... particularly Toronto , Montreal and Vancouver . The crushing cost of living . A political leader who is a complete fool who has basically destroyed the country in just 8 years . As if all of this wasn't bad enough ...... 5 months of winter from hell . Living in Canada is now an extreme struggle in every way imaginable . One will always struggle . One will always work like a dog . One will very likely fall into extreme debt in Canada just to survive . One has to pay outrageous taxes on their income leaving them with about 50% of what they actually earn after they have paid all of the combined taxes on everything that they buy or services that they use . Forget about ever being able to save money . Incomes are about about 35% less than other advanced than those in other advanced countries for the same skilled job . One will never own a home . One will never be able to start a family . One will always freeze in the winter . Life in Canada has become an absolute hell . The Canadian dream is as dead as dead can be . It is no longer a country where one can earn a decent living , own a home and live a good life . On top of all of this it has an authoritarian government which keeps passing new laws to reduce free speech and civil rights .

Canada is not perfect. If it was the case, the population will be booming. Cost of living is cheap compare to NYC or California but is still high compared to other countries. If you think that you can make a new life within 5 years, it really depends on your skillset and capacity. If you are from France, England or any western world it will be easier as your degree will be probably recognized, there will be no language and cultural barriers. Otherwise, you will need to start from bottom. You will notice that immigrants like to show off their success in the community or back in their countries, and this make false idea of the North American dream is easy. Absolutely not.

Cause before we came, when we had very solid work history and sought after credentials ( teachers, doctors, nurses) we were told that our credentials would be recognized. It turns out that there is endless redtape, overworked or incompetent institutions, and after 4, 5, or 6 years we are still dealing with bureaucracy and unable to work in our field and paying insane living costs. By the time we get our credentials recognized we have bern out of our field so long that our CV looks like crap. The smart ones leave before that, the dumb ones like me leave after, worse off, angry, and after having wasted their own money along with Canada's money fir years

I know a lot from working all over canada and they come for the free money and health care and school, as soon at they are legal canadians every single one I know/knew left because they don't want to pay the high tax and cost of living, 1 guy I was friends with for a year showed me what he got to come here and it was = to 10 years pay for me at that time. Then he sold the house and cars and left after his temp visa expired, I know of people in AB and on the east coast working here and living 5 and 6 guys in a 3 bedroom and they send every cent back to their own country so they can buy land and housing, For them it's a great get rich quick plan, The one guy I knew for a year offered to pay to have my car fixed and I said no but he insisted it was free on his free tax payer supplied credit cards, If I was not from here and they offered me all this money and stuff Id be here doing the same thing, 5 years here makes you rich when you go home. 2 bedroom condo in Mexico is $85g so if I offered you a good job that will get you a house paid off and lifetime of saving in just 5 years but you have to live in another country would you do it. 100% I would Im looking at my adult kids who will never own a home if they stay here vs the people coming over for 5 years then their set, All my kids are planning to move to a new country for this very reason they are saving and then getting out when the depression hits.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. I'm leaving next year as well. I've been in Canada for 5 years now and I love Canada.\nBut practically i don't think i can ever buy a house here and start a family. I'm 24 and i came here when i was 19. But looking at the way things are changing in Canada, the amount of tax burden it puts on honest tax payers because of illetrate immigrants from some parts of the world, refugees and people who don't wanna work is astonishing.\n\nMoreover Trudeau keeps giving away the money which is ours and keeps feeding others. Hence I've had enough. Canadians are nice but the government and some sections of society especially some Punjabi's are way too much for me to handle now. Canada isn't Canada anymore. We came here 5 years ago. Work and bought a a house. Now we are planing to move to US. Opportunity is much better. My wife can practice nursing there with no problem. cost of living is much better too i guess.

A majority of tradesmen and labourers are set to retire in the next 5 years so immigration will definitely benefit Canada as a whole. It will create economic growth and also fill the giant gap in the labour force due to the boomer gen retiring (they make up 70 percent of the laboir force) and a younger population who are becoming less interested in labour intensive jobs. .

For nurses to write a long exam of 4 hours and make i harder every time, local nurses there many that graduate every year, but they are home or not working as nurses because they can not past their exams and work, why not make them work for free for 5 months to 6 months at the hospital and gain experience, the exam will not solve the problem! Hands on rather than an exam that at the end will not be followed by nurses!! compassion and care not every nurse follows that at the hospital!

I moved to Canada in 2009 and just couple months ago I was finally able to find a family doctor. I am waiting for a knee surgery for the past 8 months and a friend of a friend who was waiting for the same kind of surgery for the past 5 years decided to go to US and pay for his surgery because he was struggling with his life quality.

I have worked in the oil industry for the last 30 years and through constant attack from Canadians in places that dont have an oil industry the industry in Canada is a shell of what it once was. I gained employment in the US 5 years ago and moved to the US 2 years ago. I and my family have applied for green cards. I appreciate living in a country where individual rights and freedoms are enshrined within the constitution.

Immigration without proper infrastructure. people with the means are leaving. We were 3 international students in a single class of 40 in 2012, now 100 international students and probably 5 or 6 local. that shows.

I am a c++ programmar moved to canada 5 years ago looking for a job in tech . Three years of searching not found any job in tech . i did cleaning, taxi driver and restaurant job just get by . I was working in a very reputable company in back home. I made a mistake was move to Canada.

I have been here for 17 years.. I am 31 now, will be immigrating again to somewhere else. Canada has really changed for the worse in the past 5 years.

I love Canada, especially Toronto, my home for 20+ years. But I totally agree, in the past 5+ years, since 2015/2016, I noticed lots of changes to terrible, and never the same anymore. Although, I'm still very positive, there are still things that are amazing (i.e. events, volunteer opportunities), with extra caution, and visit other cities. Just living day-by-day, count blessings, focus on positivity, appreciate, and be thankful.
