It’s very sad and sick. What’s happening to people in Canada? It shouldn’t be happening they have to clean it up. I understand people fall in their lives but they gotta realize they need to not give up on life. That’s what happens now. With all the migrants they’re bringing in majority of them Are OK but they gotta bring in people that wanna work learn a trade and work for the lives. This should stop immigration for now. Our system can’t take any more of the stuff in the software for the Canadians that worked hard all their lives to deal with all this and stuff for themselves.

Canada has benefitted a lot from immigration. Just go and check any restraunt, and you will see only immigrants working there. The problem with toronto is that its over immigrated and the government has failed to move people to smaller cities.

These immigrants will never go a work. This immigrants are are militants.

If we have a housing crisis and healthcare crisis, why do we keep bringing in enormous numbers of people we can neither house nor care for?\nThe answer is simple... The problem with immigration is the quality of immigrants, this country still needs quality immigrants to fulfill top level positions, in the recent years Canada got flooded with too many international students for various college degrees, as i’ve heard there are some colleges in Toronto which only has one classroom in a building but they have so many students enrolled ? and bringing in more refugees makes the housing and job situation even worse. On the other hand government had to remove the 20hour work cap of international students to run this economy ?

Flood the country with immigrants and make it unlivable for them. What kind of planning is going on in Ottawa. At least have some plans. Just bring in construction workers then. BC changed their labour laws to where an employer only has to give 2 hours of paid work in a day and they call that a job. Saskatchewan changed their labour laws to where an employer only has to give 3 hours of paid work in a day and they also call that a job. If employers would get the same kick backs and perks for hiring Canadians then there wouldn't be a need for hiring temporary foreign workers and the illegal immigrants and providing them with housing that Canadians, especially veterans, don't get. Plus the federal government allows China to buy Canadian businesses and all they have to hire is 1 Canadian and after that they can bring in all the Chinese workers they want. That is what needs to be stopped andCanadians would hopefully get a full time liveable wage job and not become homeless.

Most international students who come to Canada are more educated than most average Canadians. So don’t say they’re low skilled immigrants. Canada just doesn’t have enough technical jobs for them. They’re forced to work for such minimum wage jobs.

I still believe Trudeau and jagmeet are trying to destabilize Canada. We have so many people who can and need to work, we don't want or need any of these asylum seekers they're not immigrants they're coming into this country illegally. Actually it is really simple, the main reason that educational institutes (businesses in reality) and the country have been bringing in international students (whether India or elsewhere) is that *the international students pay 4-5x more in tuition* and so *educational institutes and the country wants to bring them in as cash cows, to milk them for the money!* *They have been using them as cash cows and milking them* There are so many institutes where there is such an imbalance, where 80-90% are international students and the local minority, the reason again is, $$. \n From international students and imgs there is a boost in the economy because of the high tuition they pay and the tax that is collected from that tuition, they spend on rent (crazy expensive as you know) transport, basic cost of living like food etc, entertainment etc, so the economy did benefit from immigrants and international students, but I completely agree that there is way too much influx. It is not good for them nor for the country, as everything has become so expensive, rent and housing affordability is gone crazy, due to crazy demand and low supply. \n So the problem is greed! I totally agree with True North's the Timz example, and the other places mentioned, and I really think that the government should work on affordability, the housing crisis, health care, sustainability, and fair and equal employment.

Does the data also apply to the northern territories or provinces which are very cold? Why dont we talk about the indigenous community whose culture and ecnomomy was destroyed by canadians and there resources snatched away, atleast the majority of immigrants come here, work and pay taxes.

We have a job shortage, not a labour shortage. In addition to the international students, the liberals created many special immigration pathways, one of which issues to almost everyone in Hong Kong a 3year work permit followed by a PR giveaway. These Hong Kong people are highly educated and skilled, but some of them I met said it is very difficult to find a job in Canada now. They have to accept a junior position with 6 years of experience or even work a survival job. The reasons that keep them here are cheaper house price and can stay away from China and they are gladly being lowballed. Helping people is a good thing but I feel that our young people are being sold, I've heard from many of them who cannot find a job recently.

Liberals say they are bringing skilled labour yet those lines are as long a 4-9 buses, Skilled workers don’t come in lines of 300 people like that. Even if you are an amazing engineer with 20yrs of experience. They want even skilled people to get canadian experience by working entry level jobs.\nAnd you are crying about how immigrants are applying for entry level jobs. Food and housing inflation is due to immigration. Supply cant keep up with demand….therefore prices go up. Interest rate hikes are not working.

As someone with immigrant parents... we work hard and do our best for the community we are in.\n\nIssue today is... no infrastructure to support new immigrants. As an immigrant myself who came 12 years ago I had to work 2 jobs and study at night French to be able to adapt. When I came I already had a university degree and then did my masters degree here in Canada . At the end it pay off I had a good job now. The main requirement for people coming to Canada should be an university degree at least as in the past . That shows you are able to learn and adapt to new things plus you have knowledge about a specific field .

Immigrants are paying huge amounts of money to come work in Canada, and businesses are being subsidized by the govt to hire them. This is an all out attack on Canadian citizens who are being overlooked and thrown to the wayside in the name of inclusivity and diversity.

As an immigrant myself, but Canadian citizen. This mass migration that Trudeau has embarked on is part of their globalization agenda. The influx of low/non skilled people, that do not carry the same traditional Canadian values, is specifically designed to dilute the existing Canadian culture, and weaken the middle class, only to replace it with the elites globalist control. In the long run, not bringing in skilled workers that can positively impact and grow the economy will be very detrimental in the long run. Also, in speaking with many of these immigrants their allegiances and not with Canada, if you ask them if the are willing to join the armed forces to defend Canada, they say no. Hence, Canada is also importing ideologies that don't intend to integrate into our society. If you want to come to Canada, integrate or leave! There are also enough skilled and non-skilled workers, that are ready and able to work, it is visible - everywhere you go there are more and more homeless and out of work people.

I'm all for bringing in the 'skills & talent' with new immigrants. But these new Canadians must fit the criteria that Canada needs and they must come in through the legal system, be properly vetted and willing to abide by the laws of the land. Instead, what Trudeau is bringing in through open borders are freeloaders, people who take advantage of the welfare system and refuse to work. And many of them have long criminal histories. Some even insist on bringing their quarrels with them along with the hatred they harbour for other groups of people. Then they proceed to protest in the streets about what is going on in the countries they left and worse, they harass others on college campuses and elsewhere because they don't like their race, culture or ethnicity. We see it everywhere. And if we Canadians complain about it, we're called every name in the book. Not fair to Canadians. Not fair to those who are waiting in line to come in legally.

There is nothing wrong with immigration. What needs to happen is we need faster processing to get these people working. There are doctors, nurses and others sitting on welfare waiting to actually fill these jobs. Every hospital is crying for staff. Senior's homes also. They take jobs that the lazy Canadians don't want or are too proud to do. I was trying to hire labourers and plenty of times was told they wouldn't get out of bed for less than twenty dollars. FFS

My country is planning on opening up to Indian immigrants at the end of the year. People are outraged as our society cares a lot about cleanliness and manners which India is not really known for. However, we are only allowing the elite and educated ones in to our system. Why? Because look at what happened to all the western world now that is dealing with mass immigration. But to be fair though, I had work with Indians in my previous jobs and some are pleasant to work with. But a lot are not. I got bullied and being called ‘Chinese’ even though I am not.

I am curious to know how many people under 30, who are from Canada, still see their future here? or are planning to move to another country. I am in my 40s, and watch every day as justin gives away everything I have worked for in my life. I will be selling my home soon, most probably to an immigrant family, because the cost of existing here has become way too high. The labour shortage is because the welfare hand out system is too generous. Stop these hand outs and these people will work and then no need for mass immigration. It’s this simple.

Their was never a labour shortage but now they did bring in a excessive amount if people where their is now a work shortage and companies are hiring these immigrants at a cut rate just to fill the position because sure you may have to hire 2 or 3 too replace the position their taking but the government will give you tax breaks on hiring them and you onkt have to pay them a third of what you would have paid a actual canadian. I am shocked to learn that people coming on Tourist visa (from developing countries) to Canada can apply for Job here and once hired can change visa status while in Canada. Never have I ever heard about this while staying in UK on work permit for 4 years that UKBA /Home Office has ever approved such low quality visa that Trudeau is flexible about. Neither Harper's/Kenney's administration (under which I immigrated to Canada back in 2014) has ever approved such cockamamie change of visa status. This is unfair to those who paid all legal fees/been working hard and never relied on the benefits proposed by the Canadian..yikes!Turdo has made Canada into a 3rd world dump...

My oldest son lives in Cambridge and works at the Toyota assembly plant. His starting wage there a few years ago was LOWER than the starting wage when the plant opened in the 80's. Mass immigration is killing wages.
