lol\n\nIn area, Canada is the second biggest country in the world but unfortunately it is managed as a small country like Monaco, Andorra or the Vatican. \nThe housing issues we see in Vancouver and GTA is caused by the lack of high-speed trains like we see in Tokyo, Seoul and many Chinese or European cities, where lots of people can live 300Km away from their jobs. \nThe government need to build in Canada these urban high-speed train lines: \n- Vancouver island-Kamloops-Calgary-Edmonton \n- Quebec city-Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto-Windsor \n \nThese two high speed train lines will serve more than 70% of population in Canada, allow them to live hundred of kilometers away form their jobs, buying houses where land price are cheaper. \n \nThe second factor that makes Canadians houses not affordable is manpower price, and that can be easily with temporary working visas like we see in the agricultural sector, but this is not easy to do because the unions in Canada are strong, and will force electricians, plumbers, drywallers, etc. of years of training and certifications, when in other developed countries a professional engineer signatures to certify the construction is the only thing that is needed. \nIn lots of Europeans countries, professional engineers train their trades apprentices to build houses, and sign and become responsible for the quality and safety of the construction. \nMunicipalities also employ professional engineers that visit work sites to check if all construction rules are being followed. \n \nCanada cannot implement this plan because that will bring ruin to the Ponzi scheme we see in the housing market, causing million of mortgages payers going under water, and multiple banks to collapse like we saw in USA and Europe during the 2008 Great Recession. \n \nThe only solution for this situation is a communist regime implemented by the NDP, replicating the quiet revolution that started in Quebec last century (1960).

Twenty years ago I left Canada and boy am I glad I did so. The country has turned into a disaster unless you're rich. The obsene house and rental prices are obviously the result of gross mismanagement. I mean, the government employs economists who should be able to advise that too many buyers and too few houses is going to lead to major trouble. A rich country with so much land should not have this problem. When it comes to gas prices, Canadians have to drive some of the longest distances in the world and are forced to pay such high gas prices. Since there is almost no public transportation, what choice to people have but drive. Regarding the grocery situation, allowing a handful of massive companies hold Canadians ransom is complete bullshit. This is where the government needs to do something to rein in this behavior. Obviously people need to eat but allowing these companies to rake in obsene profits because of this basic need is a crime. I hate the idea of a PC government, but the Liberals have definitely failed.

So many Palestinians are trying to get out through egypt but the egypt borders have been closed since day one. How long will they be kept there as a tool to use against Israel. i lived there as economic immigrant in Toronto for 4 years back in 2009 to 2013, i loved the city it was vibrant, beautiful, multicultural, people were nice polite, rent was ok , house prices were affordable, i loved every inch of this city, yonge and bloor, Dundas, Chester greektown, high park, north york , Yorkville with the fancy restaurants bars and houses, spadina mansions, harbourfront, were all my favorite places, i have so many beautiful memories in this city, i studied and worked there, but unfortunately i came back in 2015 then 2018 for few days, it was changing gradually to the worse more homeless, more crimes, more mentally sick people, very expensive housing rent food, am so sad fo rthis wonderful city

Dated a chick in Toronto who was from Romania. She didn’t even get her Canadian citizenship yet. Only having the residency of Canada. I tried to get her to come to America so many times and try to show her that things aren’t as bad as what you’ve probably heard in Romania/ Canada. I even was willing to move over her parents. The father is an hardworking immigrant and her mother doesn’t work. I told her the economics and she just didn’t get it. I shared her my vision, getting married etc she just didn’t get it. You pass by my old apartment in this video. I literally had to leave Brampton because im disabled and worked in mississauga and could no longer take the bus anymore because of the influx of students. The buses would literally drive right by you if you had a stroller or mobility aid because there's no way for people to navigate on the bus. Theyre so overcrowded, i imagine theyre running at over max capacity. I would watch elderly people who were even more disabled than myself get on the bus and the international students who were sitting in the disabled seatinv would look up at them and then back down at their phones. I would be yelling at them to give up their seats for other people while i stood on the bus leaning on a cane. They litterally do not care about anyone but themselves. And no matter how many times i complained to Brampton transit about disabled people not being able to properly use their services anymore, nothing came of it

This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Even Indians from other indian state dint want to live in Brampton anymore, Let me tell u most indians dont want to leave in isolated community but want to leave in mixed community with local people and adopting their culture. Stats canada needs to objectively analyze and if rules permit share evidence of “brown truck drivers from india only” VS others being reckless or occasionally reckless leading to consequences. \n\nSubjectively speaking it sounds about right & freaking scary how they drive on 401 Montreal to Toronto. \n\nUnfortunately in many parts of the subcontinent this is how they drive. NEED FOR SPEED. Its terrible. \n\nThis need for speed action or violation of stop signs is being more common with young drivers here in Ontario also. \n\nIts about respecting the neighborhood, other people who share the road and the pedestrian. Being mindful of whats around you & keeping your eyes on the road. Driving is a responsibility. Teach your kids.

I have been to India and I was appalled at what I saw. It is a cultural thing, as they simply do not observe the rules of the road. They do not observe lanes and swerve all over the place...There are many deadly accidents and this is just accepted as being normal... The population is so huge that one human life is apparently not worth very much to them. To turn a newly arrived immigrant from India loose on the Canadian highways before having undergone extensive Canadian based diver training and testing is INSANE.

It's pathetic that it takes a tragedy and crime of this magnitude to substantiate deportation in Canada. Many, many more deportations are required for criminal residents.

South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. The french lady should see Montreal, it is cool to see Indians, Chinese speaking French. Do you ask why there are too many Chinese in Chinatown? Deporting this man is not going to address the problem. While not sounding politically correct, many many of these new Canadians who are driving trucks either don’t know the driving rules here, or don’t care. Just drive on highway 1 and watch. They need better training or we need more police on the roads to stop the poor drivers. I can’t count how many times I’ve been following a truck with two 53’ trailers and it’s all over the road and if you’re brave enough to pass you can see the drivers on the phone more than looking ahead.

There are too many, but it is the government’s fault. In the last couple of years Canada accepted 500k student immigrants, about 250k were from India. The other 250k were from different countries. The Canadian government has made no effort to assimilate them, so they act as if they are India, which stokes resentment from locals. In addition, they practice discriminatory hiring practices – hiring only Indians, when you confront them about it, they say you’re being racist but when in fact they are the ones being racist by hiring only Indians. Stoking more resentment. A lot of their student visas are set to expire, but the Canadian has given them an extension which in turn will give them more points to get their PR cards. Prolonging the current housing shortage. I believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity, but the Canadian government has given preference to a country that is clearly undermining it to a point where they are carrying out assassinations on Canadian soil. The assassins came here on student visas. The current Canadian government is ruining the cultural fabric of this country. Stephen Harper was a great prime minister after all.

I have had many interesting experiences at the Indian Consulate. But fortunately no one screamed at me! When my late beloved Mother passed away, I took the the tried and tested method which always works in India, my good friend had a friend who knew the Vice Consul at the Embassy, I was discreetly taken into his office, where I showed them my last Indian Passport, and within 20 minutes my American Passport was stamped with an Indian Visa. In the meanwhile my contact was engaged in a friendly conversation with the Vice Council. \nThe problem with our Consulates abroad are, they are understaffed. And with the growing numbers of our diaspora in these countries, they are unable to handle the huge workload. And we are not the most polite people on the planet. Hence both sides tend to get into frequent clashes. On the other hand I have been into other nation Consulates, here they all have a system, and an online form filing program that is user friendly and easy to fill out. Everything works like clockwork. In some countries the Indian Consulates do offer emergency services even on weekends.
