Lived in Canada all of my life; more than 40 years and am strongly considering leaving as it gets worse and worse. Sad to see this once great country a molested shell of its former self at the hands of corrupt governments and elected officials.

He is right, the war from Russia on Ukraine should end immediately but anyway I think it is a beautiful Christian thing that all the surrounding countries are willing to let in people that unwillingly have to leave their country in order not to die. It is a pity that we don’t see that kind of human gesture for Palestinians. But let’s talk about this blatantly obvious point abd instead focus on our hate for Jews… ?

Compared to America, being a disabled person in Canada is a dream. I lived in TO without a car for 5 years. You can't do that in the USA. Ever. Taxes are lower as there is an ancient infrastructure which is never updated (see Florida Condo meltdown, Texas power grid failure 2021). You spend hours in traffic as there is almost no public transportation. There are few or no environmental regulations so our country is beyond polluted. Rivers literally catch fire. Foreign companies bribe our officials (at least Canada has acknowledged this as a problem) so citizens can't get justice. Life expectancy in America fell sharply in 2020. It fell again in 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic certainly played a role, but that’s not the whole story. During this same time period, eight of the ten leading causes of death also increased. Even maternal and child and adolescent mortality increased. In August 2022, federal health officials released new data showing that across all demographic groups, Americans are dying younger. Welcome to the USA!

There were about 750k Palestinian refugees after the war in 1948, but the following year the neighboring Arab countries expelled as many Jews from their countries as some kind of revenge. The difference was that the Jews were assimilated by Israel, the United States and Canada, among others, while the Palestinians remained stateless. It cannot be a coincidence that for over 70 years they have failed to assimilate these refugees. It is hard to see it in any other way than the Arab neighbors see it as part of the struggle to keep these people in camps and increase hopelessness and anger.

hang on a sec. 800K-900K house looks quite cheap. you will rarely see 1M dollars house in Asia such as Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong and so on. you will need easily 2-3M dollars. the rental doesn’t look super expensive in Canada, either. which countries are cheaper than Canada unless you want to downgrade? if you think Canada is expensive, you will see other countries are crazy expensive. so stay there.

But it seems like Hamas’s only plan for them was to be disposable pawn martyrs caught in between them and Israeli forces. \n\nYou can’t torture, rape and kill 1,400 Israeli citizens/foreign nationals and take 200+ hostages back to Gaza during a depraved terrorist attack and then cry ceasefire when that country declares war and is winning. Especially when you’re still holding onto hostages and not honoring the terms of the first ceasefire by letting the Red Cross see the hostages. \n\nIf these other countries cared about the Palestinians, they’d take any refugees that wanted to leave. They clearly don’t want to do that for some reason. They’re watching from afar with their popcorn, saying “isn’t it terrible what the Israeli’s are doing.. but we won’t let them come here to escape, which would let the Israelis fight this war with Hamas, who initiated it, without civilians in between.” With no mention of how Hamas as put them in the middle and isn’t protecting them. Also no mention of any responsibility Hamas has for bring this war onto them by the large scale terrorist attack, that includes hundreds of civilian hostages of all ages.

I arrived in Canada when I was 5 and been here for almost 50 years. I think people forget how much the original folks struggled. You hardly found an Indian store and were discriminated against. I think you made some valid points Canada is heading in the wrong direction and we need to blame the government. We don't even have affordable housing or Healthcare to support the increase in immigration. These no name colleges are making money at the expense of poor students. These students then have to work in low paying jobs. I really don't see any scope for some of these students. Think twice before coming to Canada because even I am thinking about leaving this country now...high taxes and it will only get worse!!

Canada is owned by thirteen wealthy families, they are greedy and self serving. If you come to Canada and see ten different grocery stores - they are all owned by three people/families. Everyone works together to keep the wages low and depressive. They also are the lobbyists for government officials who regardless of party - seek to find wealth from other countries when their term ends.

And take in to account that english is a foreign language to him. When are u seeing US politicians speaking another language unless it is because of the country of their origin. A Mex-American man speaking spanish as second language is nothing compared to an Arab speaking english

Arabs countries have always refused palestinians refugees, after seeing what they did in Lebanon and Koweït… European are dumb enroule to continue to accept them… Palestinians and hamas destroyed Gaza after the Jews lifted this place…

The worst part is, you can see Americans opposing Afghan war, British opposing Iraq war, Western world and Jew organization opposing Gaza war But you will never find any body opposing vehemently ISIS/Hamas from islamic countries. What in happens in 4 weeks when this military operation is over? I mean the only countries that were giving (to the now 95% homeless Palestinians in Gaza) were European countries and Iran and Qatar. I’m asking myself if they are not willing or don’t accept the idea of Palestinians leaving, I want to see the Arab, especially the Gulf nations get involved and built up Gaza. They could have done this before with all their money. But instead the elites one yacht after another. they betrayed the Palestinians and the Abraham Accords are proof of this. The gulf countries are only interested in money and that’s it.

Don’t come to Canada. Housing is expensive, food is expensive, taxes are high and rising. If you do come to Canada bring your own tent so you have a place to live after you get tired of the homeless shelter. Don’t worry there are plenty of tent cities all over the country but do your research because some of them are dangerous. Don’t get sick because it’s hard to find a doctor and the emergency rooms are backed up for many hours to see a doctor. Violent crime is on the rise as well. I’m doing ok but will leave Canada when I retire.

I am a Canadian citizen who moved to Bangkok, Thailand, 26 years ago as I had a professional job there. At that time, I was attracted by the Thai culture, the weather and the quality of life. I have been married to my beautiful Thai wife (S.E. Asian ladies are stunning?) for 23 years and we have two grown up children (one is studying in Canada!). I feel that I have more personal freedom in my daily life here, under a military government, than I would in Canada. There is also fast fibre optic internet, reasonably priced phone plans, the low cost of living (I bought an apartment after the 1997 financial crisis), affordable and world class private hospitals. I have learned the language and this is the perfect country for me to retire in. I could not clearly see the future years ago, but I asked myself, where do we think the future is? With creditor nations or with debtor nations? I am so glad that I made the decision to leave Canada in 1997!

Just open borders and see if Palestinians want to settle in other Arab countries or not. You guys aren’t opening your borders because you knew some of them would be trouble makers for you. West is already facing their nonsense.

It's astonishing to see so many Canadians voicing serious complaints about their country. More to hear complaints coming from immigrants who then left Canada in disgust and found better lives elsewhere is even more astonishing.\n Yet I warn everyone else. It's okay for Canadians to complain about their own country. They have every right. As for immigrants or immigrants who left Canada, well, they were there and experienced the downside, so they have legitimacy.\n But for any other non-Canadian, including me, keep our mouths shut and say nothing. Let only the Canadians speak here. If you non-Canadians are foolish enough to open your mouth, a hundred angry Canadians will come here to loudly denounce you and maybe swear profanities for demeaning their perfect nation, Canada, and that all these complaints really don't exist and are made up.

As someone from Brazil, to me this video feels like just some champagne problems. You guys have no clue how easy you have it. But at the same time, I agree that easier times make people more soft, so you start to see problemas everywhere.\nEven with all of this problemas Canada still one of the best places to move in. In my province healthcare is ostensibly nonexistent. Wait times at ER's are well over 12 hours and you're often directed to go home without ever seeing a doctor. \nThere is an extreme deficit of doctors. I've been waiting 6 years for one and there are people who have waited much longer with no relief in sight. \nHousing is unaffordable. A decent (nothing special) one bedroom 1 bath apartment is around 1600 a month and this is a largely rural province, not a metropolitan city. \nHomes are being bought as fast as they go on the market at extremely inflated prices by people moving here to escape the more populated provinces. This has raised property taxes by 20% in the last 2 years.\nThe economy is in shambles. Homelessness is exploding and the government seems uninterested in fixing it in any realistic or helpful way.\nFederal and provincial income taxes are nearly 50% of your income (44% for me and a bit more for my wife). So, what money you do make you get to keep a little more than half.\nElectricity is about 3 times what it is in the US and the rate here is increasing by 29% over the next 3 years.\nGroceries are unreasonably expensive and becoming more pricey by the day. Provincial sales tax is 15% on top of those groceries as well. \nThis is a short list of a few of the more glaring issues but there are far more. Canada has transformed over the last 5 years into a place I hardly recognize anymore. If something isn't done about it soon we'll be living in a third world country by 2030.

most provinces are big with lack of diversity = expensive to move and see other landscape ; last 5 years realestate and cost of living gone bonkers - everywhere in the world it went up but canada definitely was one of the most significant- even with rise of salary its not as good anymore… fairly average health or care system - average political standing in world ( india china in a pinch usa 100% while usa doesnt seem to be canada 100% ) but we have lot of ressources tho costly to operate and not nature friendly - other than that - its a good country and better than most overall and a country you van have opportunities for sure but its not a paradise or eldorado

My wife waited 24 hours to see an emergency doctor 2 weeks ago in a winnipeg hospital and commented to me that a lady there had been waiting there for 48 hours also I waited for 2 years to see a specialist but part of that was during covid, also the wages are some of the lowest in the country here in winnipeg and still has some of the highest property taxes in the country and now with bill C11 and bill C19, with all of these Canada has a lower living standards than more than a few 3rd world countries. Our civil liberties here have changed for the worst and the future looks bleak, I would have moved away if I could but I can't as I wont leave my family behind some things are really more important than money and that's family but still I fight on and hope things will one day change. Also recently the canadian government did a standing ovation to a Nazi and froze the bank accounts of peaceful protestors, really not looking good for Canada.

Right answer ! The stupidity to ask this question is not seeing the agenda of Israel to take all the land in the name of self defense. It's like that from the beginning of colonisation with or without terrorist attacks. The lessons givers won't see that refugees are the treat for European countries where extremism are growing.

Indians who come to Canada are already middle class with good job and money in India, and they try to get the same type of jobs in Canada, this is a different environment that leads to loneliness as all of their friends and relatives are still in India. \nThere are families from refugee countries, if one member gets here they will bring their brothers, cousins, friends an al their families and everyone does restaurant, shops trucking and other jobs and then slowly get into the same Business you can see them get together on Weekends.

I was born in vermont, lived most of my life here in florida. Canada is my favorite country outside of the us. Sad to see them having all these problems like us.

Im leaving because Canada is one of the worst communist woke hellholes on the planet. Its also incredibly anti-whyte. 4 more years then I can retire and get the hell out of this frozen dump. I am American and I see Canada as three countries, eastern English, French and western Canada

As a European who lived for 3 years in Canada, I have to say that Canadians - as much as I love them - are very entitled. They live in a bubble and don't realise how good they have it. \n\nTheir country is beautiful, the lifestyle is phenomenal even if you aren't rich. A lot of things they complain about like rising house prices, food costs, and political divide is literally happening everywhere - I'm really not sure why they think only Canada is struggling with this right now. Perhaps because on their strong currency they can go and live like Kings in somewhere like Portugal or Bali, but then they don't realise that they are bringing over the cost of living crisis and making things harder for locals when they do that. \n\nThey want things to be perfect, which isn't something to discourage but they don't realise how much harder life is like in most other countries on the planet. The only ones who appreciated it were the people who had lived for a few years in the UK or Paris or Australia, or somewhere else they imagined that life was easier and then ended up actually miserable and actually struggling - and then soon fly back to Canada. I have to say though I do love the sense of always wanting things to be better, whilst in Europe we tend to accept having less, less options and struggle to the extent that we don't even see it as struggle.

I can see that most of your video was centered around Toronto (or Ontario). Other provinces have other, or additional problems. I feel sad to see immigrants coming to Quebec and being forced to send their kids to french school even if they speak english at home. 99% of jobs require knowledge of french. I feel sad for people coming from countries where the only 2nd language they know is english, but somehow I see them trying.

Here in America most folks seem to feel a sense of decline and negativity towards the country and who we are. But a little bit of positive energy sometimes gets through. \nBut Canada? Man I never see any Canadian happy to be Canadian atm lol. This is just my personal observation, of course. But sometimes Canada sounds worse than the US.

As a Canadian , I see most people trying to survive on a day to day bases these day's. \nWe can blame Black Face Justin Castro Trudeau & the Liberal Communist Party for this mess. I immigrated to Canada in 2010, and here are my experiences inside and outside Canada. I am grateful for a good education; having a Canadian passport opened up many opportunities in other countries to build a higher-level career. However, if I had known the amount of stress, health, and financial damage that I had to endure, I wouldn't have chosen to come to Canada. I would have remained in the US or EU countries where I could achieve even more without suffering to the level I did here. \n\nMisleading immigration promotion: The government-sponsored Canadian immigration program oversells what Canada can offer. It withholds information on the cost of living, chicken-and-egg problems like Canadian work experience is required to get a job at the same level as you are in, Canadian credit history is required to rent a proper apartment, Canadian education is required to secure a high-level job, etc. \n\nHiring process: I knew the Canadian system was not ideal for immigrants over a decade ago, but it got so bad now that even the born citizens are unable to survive. The Canadian government and employers lack a basic understanding that ambitious, high-achieving people immigrate to other countries for high-level positions using proper channels. It's ridiculous to see that Canada uses a point-based system to choose highly qualified personnel to enter their country yet expects them to pursue low-paying entry-level or labor jobs just because they have brown/black skin. At first, I thought having a Canadian degree and experience might help me get high-level jobs, and I didn't think how I spoke or looked would matter when I had high credentials to show off. So, I got my masters & Ph.D. from the Univesity of Toronto, which consistently ranks #1 in Canada. I have a bachelor's from a prestigious university in Asia and had a high-competitive, well-paid federal government job in another country. Still, none of that was recognized in Canada, and I had to volunteer for over 6 months, 10 to 12 hours/day, in a research lab that led to a funded PhD program. I worked even harder during my Ph.D. with many accomplishments, like 40+ research and leadership awards, internationally recognized scientific discoveries, and innovative technologies. I checked all the above and beyond in various domains (research, teaching, leadership, business, engineering consulting, collaborations, etc.). Yet, employers couldn't see past my race, gender, age, etc., and refused to give me the opportunity at the level of my qualifications. Luckily, I managed to secure short-term work in the UK & the US, and it changed even how I see myself. I was highly respected for my credentials, given higher positions than I applied for, and paid 3-4 times more salary and benefits. Of course, bias is an integral part of every society, but my race, gender, age, etc., were not as big of an issue to begin my career at the mid-career stage in these countries as opposed to Canada. \n\nHealthcare: Access to healthcare was another big challenge for me. When I moved to Canada in 2010, due to extremely low temperatures, I developed hives all over my body, my eyes got red, and I coughed for many months. The doctor said there was nothing wrong with me and refused to give me any medication. It took us years to get a family doctor, and we got one through my personal network. In 2015/2016, I developed an autoimmune disease, and my eyeballs popped out. As of today, I did not get to see an eye specialist as they have only 1 specialist in the area, and the waiting time is for years for the first consultation. Every time the family doctor told me that I had iron deficiency, even when I insisted that they should run additional tests and they cleared, they were flagged. The doctor never diagnosed my autoimmune condition. Luckily, during my short-term work in the UK, I saw competent interns who completed my care. NHS is poorer than the medical system in Canada... they are understaffed, don't have hospital beds after surgery, or don't have stock of paper gowns, yet the staff are highly competent and caring. Within 1-2 years, they did complete diagnosis by sending me to various specialists, completed eye surgery, and even found a lifelong condition that was preventing me from realizing my full potential. Following, in the US, the doctors confirmed the diagnosis of all the conditions within 1-2 months and put me on two small pills for life. It has dramatically changed my life, and I have even more admiration for the medical profession. While in Canada, I suffered for over a decade, and every time, I was treated as a hypochondriac and never given a single prescription. \n\nQuality of life: Big cities like Toronto are mainly affected by high crime rates, overpopulation, cost of living, low employment, low salaries, etc. A few months back, there was a huge auto theft, and one of my contacts lost their Lexus car within minutes of parking. Despite being a scientist, I have no faith in politicians or individuals fixing these problems. The salaries are not increasing, but the taxes and cost of living are on the exponential growth curve. The ridiculous part is that Canada expects you to pay taxes even when you are not employed or living in Canada! I lived in London and Boston, and they offer a much higher quality of life and pay. \n\nGrowth potential: No wonder Canada, being a G7 country, falls at the bottom of the list in innovation, equal opportunities, economic growth, etc. It has a decent education system but, due to its inherent bias in the hiring process and monopoly of certain businesses, loses talented immigrants and highly qualified Canadians to the US, the UK, and EU markets. Unless there is a dramatic shift in policies, Canadians, especially new immigrants, cannot expect any positive experience in Canada except for being discriminated against and losing valuable time and money by being there.

If avery journalist put himself in Palestinians position we will see much less stupid questions \nImagine you are peacefully living your life have a house and a job and family , you got bombed has to leave and the world instead of calling for a ceasefire , want you to live in tants as a refugee in an other country for the rest of your life , Palestinians are humans they have deginity

Prince Faisal is more than a little correct. The very idea that other countries should take in the Palestinians is the same argument used by Hitler. Palestine has been around for thousands of years and I see zero reason the children should be moved so Israel can get the oil and gas plus the gold mine recently found. Make them a state and let them thrive unmolested as they did all the way up to 1947.

I love Canada and could never imagine living anywhere else, it's not perfect but what country is. Everyone can have something that they can dislike and see things that need improvement but isn't that the case in every country. We are one of the most free countries in the world, and we are diverse and I love it, the housing is a issue now but in a few years it will be something else, people who believe that everything has to perfect will never find a home.

Countries in the Middle East should take in their brothers and sisters if they actually care. The west and Europe does it all the time. It’s their turn. Lacking of accountability is all I see. Yet they blame the countries that constantly take care of others.

Its shameful the rest of the world leaders are making humane responses while the US is funding the killing of innocents. Im so ashamed of my country. As ive grown up seeing lie after lie after lie. I just have no trust left of this government.

This is the reasoning i tell everyone when they say “ oh even Egypt, Saudi Jordan don’t want them” no it’s not that, they want Palestinians to keep their land and will never work to support a victory for the blue ⭐️, its like a surrender, all the Arab countries are with us. All communities, including the Jewish community, across the political and religious spectrum unambiguously condemned that hate crime. And it brought a sense of relief and security to Muslims in Ontario. \n\nRemember how, after more that 50 people were gunned down while worshipping at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, in 2019, political and religious leaders from all faiths stood behind Muslims and consoled them? \n\nAlso, after the Quebec mosque attack, almost all communities in Canada chose to stand with Muslims. There were images of people in Alberta who formed a human chain to protect Muslims. Similar scenes were witnessed elsewhere in the country. Jewish community leaders spoke out, loud and clear, in support of Muslims and against hate and bigotry. \n\nBut that is not what Elghawaby did. Instead, she makes it sounds as though it is Muslims who are the victims, while failing to mention the barbarity unleashed on Oct. 7. This is not leadership. This is not her mandate. Her job is to promote tolerance as enshrined in Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. \n\nNow imagine a scenario in which Muslims did what they ought to have done in the first place: condemned the Hamas attack, sided with the Jewish victims and dissociated themselves from terrorism. DEMAND is WAAAAY up, thats why the housing is expensive (see how that works?). We have been ranked second best country to live in, only beaten by Sweden. It is encouraging to see someone who may in fact be a Liberal sharing her grief of living in Canada. I am a 5th generation Canadian and have been appalled by the situation and the damage the Federal government has inflicted to the country. That is why many, myself included have moved out or now live abroad.
