That lady did not decide, the decision was made for her. I will not watch this video so not to fall into this trap, people make these videos to get the views and ratings. I will not watch it at all, it is better that you left Australia. Australia wants smart people, as I was an immigrant and now a proud Australian.

Hello Dear; My fellow Kenyans do research and read a lot about the Laws and policies of that country before you make a step or move; Outside here; No short cart I am in one country in Europe I did my application for self-employment/ work permit/residence permit\nThen I was told to wait for 7 months - to 1 year for my application to be terminated not in Kenyan but in this county I am currently; After waiting for 1 year, I received an email from the embassy that my application was approved to apply again for a VISA to come and collect my ID = Now am legally in Europe I can move anywhere without fear and also can do any business in Schengen Area, I can go to Kenya anytime I want and come back anytime I want, This country is very rich and productive, peaceful, Clean, life affordable government regulates everything, the population is 8.9+, and the services are top class and are among the top in Europe map, however, you shall never here them shouting. Is about being wise and doing due diligence.. as well as calculating and taking your time. Good things don't come when you rush.

Basic tip : if you travel legally, with the right channels into Canada you will not have to struggle. The government will even ensure you are getting support while at it. Once you 'cheat' your way in please expect repurcussions. The canadian government is as transparent as you'd like it to be. Every country in the whole world got opportunities but Kenyans wants short cuts and that's why they're conned by fake Agencies in kenya and they end sleeping on streets. If you want to come use the right channel and you will never regret. Fake Agencies in kenya they don't give a damn about anybody whether you're going to die or not so long as they make their money. They will even sell you off to Arab countries. Apply the necessary jobs for yourself don't be lazy.

Here in US average house mortgage is sh210,000 a month. Average income sh400,000 a month. Then you have bills and taxes. My niece who just came from Kenya last year on work visa is making sh13 million a year as an RN. That’s sh 1.1 million a month. I think she’ll be just fine! My advice, get a bachelors degree in Kenya , apply for masters program over here, graduate and apply for a work permit. Or get a two year nursing program (can even do online internationally), work in Kenya for 2-3 years, then come here through work visa. Or apply for green card and come with a work permit. People who suffer the most are undergraduates and visitor visa holders with no work permit. They work for minimum wage under the table.

Yes we have so many unregulated agents who are applying for visit visas which doesn't allow you to work. The only option is to destroy identity documents and seek refugee status afresh . Alot of jobs in Canada but it's almost impossible to change a visit visa to work permit .most Kenyans are going to Canada with visit visas hence can't get work and are suffering..if your going to Canada make sure you apply for skilled jobs such as nursing and get the job first before travelling.

Guess what? Every time we won the games, they promised to employ us. They will tell us to apply and write an essay to why you needed that job. I suffered for 4 years writing essays and applying. Little did I know, the secretary would hide my application in her drawer and bring in her family member. It happened I got a scholarship to play and go to school. I finished school, I work out of the country and never regret again. My point is, some of us left kenya because we were pushed to the edge, it is difficult to get a job and people are very mean in those offices. If you try to invest, you get conned too.

Am a kenyan Canadian and living in canada is the best decision I have ever taken. Lot of kenyan are paying agencies to come to canada through visit permit. People should blame agencies who promise them jobs not canada government . When you come to canada through visit permit you need to change to work permit or study permit. Actually there are thousands of kenyan who have come through visit permit and they are claiming refugee status. Canadian Government is doing its part by giving all claimed refugees shelter and give the money for upkeep. When you have visit permit you can't work in canada but you can convert it to work permit which is not easy but an expensive process. You need to get a company that can process you lMIA that labour market Impact assessment . You need skills to get a company to apply you Lmia or uende China ya maji you pay Indians who have companies in kenya $30-$40 to apply for you lmia. Or you can convert your visit permit to study permit and universities here are damn expensive. Getting a Canadian to marry you for status is very hard. In short am trying to say if you do not come through work permit or landed immigrants life wil be tough use the money you are paying agencies to start something in your country. They are so many opportunities in canada if you have the right papers or status. As for me am a happy single mom who as accomplished alot here and I love canada .

Everyone's experience is different. I've lived in America for many years, I have masters degree and a good job. I've managed to build several high end apartments in Kenya, buy a house here and invest in the stock market and fund a retirement account. Same applies to my brother and sister. You can make it here and you can make it anywhere in the world. He shouldn't generalize.
