I love Cape Breton. Canada is a big country. Our family immigrated to Halifax and then lived in Lake Simcoe area, then Kirkland Lake, Ontario, then lived in three or four homes in Edmonton. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. I live in Russia. The average salary in big cities is (CAD) 9K..11K, that is, 18K..22K per family. (Basically, this amount goes to renting housing, paying utility bills, food, communications, and travel.) In ten years, you could save up for an apartment, but all savings are eaten up by inflation, on average 10% per year. In most regions, average salaries are half that. You won’t find a one-room apartment in a big city for less than 70K. That is, it is basically impossible to save up for an apartment. And you cry that things are bad in Canada?!

It's messed up. Even if you stopped all immigration from India today, they could still bring in 300k a year with marriages. Canada has turned into india and they have zero interest in adapting. It's a huge mess and a big danger to the social cohesion. No one wants to live in India period.

The Asian Canadian population is pretty much only in the bigger cities that take up most of the population. If we also took into account anywhere outside of the big cities, then there is still a majority of Indigenous and European Canadians living there.
