Canada is very expensive. One of my friend who had moved there with her husband and is employed and well paid as usual in IT industry says it is much more difficult even with double salary on the higher levels to sustain in parts of Canada like Vancouver as the prices are extremely high including rental and commodity prices.\n\nI had tried for Canada but could not gather enough points due to my age, probably it has turned out a blessing

Canada’s statistics are no different than Australia, USA and France for example in terms of homelessness and home ownership. It's not that everyone is leaving. Eastern Europeans are going back. They go where there is no communism, simply. But there are plenty of black people coming, yesterday I was at a Highschool graduation here in Edmonton, and let me tell you, the days of white people in Canada are over. If it's any good, time will tell. I and my wife (also immigrants) will\nLeave eventually to spend our retirement in some warmth.

I get that the economy suffers from a job shortage in the truck driving sector, but this is NOT the way. We are doing this, Canada is importing immigrants for our economic benefit. We Canadians are all NIMBY and making it hard to build the housing we need, wanting our houses to increase in value indefinitively, not wanting the less comfortable jobs like truck driving, yet letting corporations profit by putting woefully inadequate truck drivers on the road.
