A lot of ignorant and common sense comments. USA has created the horrible conditions in Latin America (By intervening in many many many ways). These people are not emigrating because they are seeking a higher standard of living; they want to get the basic necessities of life. “They have to do that chaos on their country to get their freedom.” This type of comments are beyond stupid and it just shows how uneducated you are. We need more leaders like President Bukele of El Salvador and AMLO of Mexico. President Bukele incarcerated thousands of MS-13 gang members without trial. They are all in jail for life. We are not a very introspective country. Not that it ever makes the news but Mexico is home to 1.6 million Americans that are legally there and anther .5 to 1 million living in Mexico illegally. This act kept most of Central America’s governments weak and destabilized. We destabilized El Salvador all through the 70s and 80s. We destabilized Venezuela when our politics ran counter to theirs. Right or wrong our footprint is part of Latin America and the consequences of this still reverberate in todays’ immigration problems.

Notice how these people's clothes look somewhat new and how they seem to be well fed and not malnourished. So why do they need to be coming here? I have such mixed emotions about the immigrants I know that they should not be allowed to come in as that large of a group into our country because we have enough problems right now taking care of ourselves here in the United States I know that there's a lot of reasons why they should not be able to cross the border but at the same time I feel really sorry for them, look at them, they're crying they're starving they're hungry they have no home have nothing to go back to they have no job they have nothing and they're in the thousands .... what do we do?? what are we supposed to do, it just driving me crazy to know that many people are suffering like that but they can't come into the country too many of them... I am a for immigrants but this need to be fixed. How to fix it, is charge American a $10,000 fine if you hire a illegal. Then make these people apply from home where we have time to check there background and then given a date to come. A wall does not work so we need drones and more people on the boarder. Most of these people do not and we only need so many fruit pickers. Also I think new immigrants should be required to take a class to learn the ways of the country so they do not accidentally cause conflicts and problems.

I understand their need, their frustration and their feeling of impotence that they can’t do anything in their country. But what I will never understand is how many will demand help from here, Demand rights here and they don’t do it in their country. Why can’t they demand help from where they come from? We are seeing this right now because the entire world knows that our borders are wide open and everyone is welcome. We've become the laughing stock of the planet for more than one reason... The people coming in know that they aren't going to get shot so why not try? Worst case scenario they'll just get sent home. My heart tells me that everyone deserves a chance for a better life in our country but my brain tells me we are full up folks! People voted for this..how is anyone not concerned about who the fuck is coming over? Anyone who is criticizing these immigrants from wanting to come to America should ask them selves where did your grandparents or great grandparents come from? What situations were they in that they needed to flee from? Nobody wants to leave their home country. They’re desperate to do so because of war and crime. There is enough for everyone to be here. We have enough to help people. This is what the statue of liberty represents: help your hungry, and your poor. Even if we give them temporary refuge.

It's heartbreaking to see people desperate to want a better life for their families but you need strong borders so that you control who comes to your country and how they come and the population sees some order to it. Then they might support an orderly migration program. Here in Australia we do have the advantage of the world's largest moat, however, we have a very generous (relative to our population) refugee and immigration program that we can implement by keeping our borders secure.

This is why we need our own communities...we as Black people need to come together as a whole and separate from these people...build our own communities..PERIOD!

my dad got deported on 2001 he was punished and he could not enter the country for 20 years so he stayed in mexico and now after 3 years of me tryng to get him a greencard and 15k spent on a lawyer finally got him in, and this people want to be here just like that? back in the day was different there was no social media mo smartphones anybody that came yo america had real struggles the lesst thing this people can do is learn english and come here by legal means cmon i now is not easy but people always want a quick fix for all their life problems. its all politics this country is going downhill very quickly and we need a good leader
