I am dorry to say this, but you were lied to. People immigrate becourse they can. There are countries that are better to live in where you will have more security in life. im a huge advocate of diversity but this is just too much ... Everyone complaining should ask themselves a few questions. These Indians and by extent all immigrants have significant barriers. I'll refer to only indians here. They have names which are hard to pronounce. Some of them have a look only a mother can love. They cant speak as well as we do. We cannot understand them. Majority of them come here w nothing. Yet...yet...they have become THE Richest diaspora in America and they are not doing too badly here in Canada as well. Now you have to ask yourself why is this the case. They start frombthe bottom and in 20 years or less they end up at the top. I think most rational sane ppl will know the answer, other immigrants will know the answer. The answer is: they work hard at educating themselves and then they work hard at their jobs. Some of you will say they get tax breaks and child tax subsidies etc. But those things are handouts...its not designed for you to become rich from, just to keep from drowning. So its not handouts. They literally work hard all their lives. Do you see any of them at the ball game? Or out partying? Or out having a grand time. The same ones delivering your uber eats in 20 years will be richer than you. Even with all the barriers I mentioned before. I am an Eastern European national whos been here for the past 40 years.

Listen as a minority person who is proud of my heritage but grew up here with immigrant parents who were given refuge in Canada, I can understand immigration. But...its getting out of hand, most of them are from India, most of them have homes in India and often return there for long vacations, These are not refugees or a diverse spread of peoples coming here. I am not hateful in any way but sometimes you have to tell it like it is, A lot of these people are not adapting to the culture here, why? Because most of them are grown already and are used to their own customs, with an ever increasing population now living here they don't really feel the need to learn or adapt because there are less regular Canadians. When I was in school it was already pretty multi-cultural and diverse although yes in my area there are less asians and black people, we had a lot of European(Serbian/Romanian) in particular. Now I go to the store and it's like 80% brown/Indian people lol, even my neighbors, most have moved out and more indian families are moving in. My city is expanding into like a mini Toronto when we can't even handle it, people cant even find jobs, people need all this other stuff, Its just too many all at once, crime rates have gone up over the last few years, this doesn't help anyone, immigrants either.

When i was 16, I could find an entry level job. Let me say it, u didn't do ur research before moving abroad, abroad life is not for lazy ppl who don't want to work on their own. Didn't u know how was the life abroad wen u have ur relatives there. And the positions u r saying are voluntary for parents, it's not a job,it's called lunch duty. You didn't try to find how life, society is there. Who asked u to hire a basement, looks like that u weren't financially ok therefore u had to hire a basement. Ppl have nice houses there. Madam, ur qualification was not suitable to get a job in canada if u r in teaching. Ur english has to be iltes level. I have relatives who are in IT and have very good salary, live in big houses. So it seems u didn't have proper skills and qualifications to get a decent job there. If u have experience u don't have to start from the scratch. U are not fit to live abroad u seem a lazy person. Ppl like u are only suitable for india. Food options are alot in canada for veggies. Healthcare is good there and free. They have a discipline there. Canada is expensive may be u couldn't cope there. How can we help others when we cant even provide for our own? Born and raised canadians are ended up on the streets in record numbers and the cost of living is higher then its ever been. If this isnt a sign something is seriously wrong I dont know what is. Under these circumstances the only course of action is to reduce immigration until we can fix the the issues with housing and the cost of living. Doing anything else will only cause the problems to grow.

So many people move to Canada for easy PR and settlement. It it gets tough maybe an influx of people will find some other options. Even for those looking for an easy PR, Canada isnt an ideal option considering if you want to live with your parents which is gonna be really expensive and one person cant bear the expenses of other family members

Yes we are excepting to many international students. When the Canadian citizen cant even find a job in their home town, then thats a problem, and thats exactly whats happening. Companies see it as saving money when they hire these students, seeing the government pays half-wage subsidy for foreigners.
