So I reside in Ontario, I live in a city they call the armpit of Ontario. And everytime I come to this restaurant (I dont want to say what restaurant but if u ask id tell you) - I would see a lot of them coming in by groups and they wear clothes like they still live back to whatever country they are from and would sit on their chairs cross legged as other people eat their food. Every hour theres dozens of them coming and I came to think are these people even legally here. It is just crazy to me as a legal immigrant where me and my family waited for 8 years for the application process, spent hundreds of thousands of money meanwhile I see people that arent from here and not even try to assimilate to Canadian culture. It is just infuriating.

I love Punjabis. They are the most humble and kind people to be around. Chardi Kala high spirits all around. I feel very good around them and don't feel judged. Being myself feels ok around them. They like to to take care of others. They will commonly ask you if you are OK and need water, food, anything. Langar/ community kichen is inbedded in culture and makes sure everyone eats in the same humble setting. They think communally and make sure to ask all parties how they feel about a particular topic, especially before making a decision. They appreciate when you try to understand them. They love when you speak their language. These people are blessed and I love them. I really hope that people bridge the gap between each other and love thy neighbour. God Bless Chardi Kala rahin.

Sad to see the racist comments both in the video as well as in the comments. There is no doubt that Canada took too many immigrants in the past 5-7 years. The reasons are many - and the blame goes on both the provincial conservatives and federal liberals. The tuition freeze in Ontario caused colleges and universities to treat foreign students as an ATM to balance their budgets. Foreign enrollments skyrocketed, especially in colleges, with students paying top dollar for dubious degrees with no job prospects. This put strains on the job market, and the housing/rental market. As an educated Indian-American who now lives in Canada, it pains me to see my fellow countrymen dominating Uber, Uber Eats, Bicycle food delivery and Tim Hortons. No one uproots everything in their home country and comes all the way for this. Most of these people are here legally and they work really hard. A last word - leaving aside the Khalistan issue that has caused a wedge between Hindus and Sikhs - the Indian diaspora, especially the Sikh, are amazing in the amount of charitable work that they do. Their concept of seva is unmatched. No one goes hungry when there is a Gurdwara around, as there is always free nutritious food. Same is true for temples. Even a young poor Steve Jobs ate at Iskcon temples. Last point - while some of Canada's problems are because of excessive immigration, Canada would be nothing without immigrants. The population would decline, with a native fertility rate of under 1.4, and entitlement programs would be in deep trouble.

Many come with fake study visa, then go to downtown Toronto and do uber eats on their moped/ebikes. They drive extremely recklessly, often without lights at night or stopping in the middle of the bike lanes glued to their phone. Its absolutely ridiculous the amount of close calls i have had with them, going down the wrong way, running stop signs and red lights.

When I go to work building new homes, I am almost always the only person that speaks English. You ask someone to move their vehicle to get a truck in or something and they look at you like a Taxidermized fish. DONT let them eat lunch in the house, you'll never get the curry smell out. I've seen people drop out of buying new houses cause they just stink like India, the walls are already that yellow grease color and once that happens its ruined, like having a smoker live in the house but greasier.

My family immigrated during the war, my grandmother came here after escaping a concentration camp when she was a little girl, her and my mother taught me to appreciate what we have, because it was worked hard for, they worked hard to make a living and a future for their families, they were given money by family that was here and paid back every, single, cent, it wasn't just given to them for free by the government while the rest of the people here suffer, so many of the people are brought here and given everything, it's like people have never heard the phrase "Give a man to fish, he eats for a day. I am an immigrant,I never abused the system, never took what was not mine, I worked hard and I am nurse, I waited four years to purchase my dream car and 2 months in, the person who don’t use road codes or stop light hit my car! I don’t eat or drink and place my cup on store shelves with clothes that other people are about to purchase. Canada is not safe anymore! Driving in the dowtown area, u have to keep your foot on the break because there WILL be about 20 bikes that will ride in front of your car without notice . I work so hard and sometimes it’s so overwhelming, the last time this got to me…. I had to go and take a little vacation…. No I could not afford it but it’s better than getting stressed out because Canada is becoming a 3rd world country!!! There are HONEST people who work so hard and cannot afford anything , not even their rent! I live on $800 a month and I am much too disabled to work and I don’t have family. In addition, I’ve been told I’m not eligible for rent gear to income, but it’s not like I’m going to get well. Anyway, it seems people don’t like to put out for others and I get it because the folks at the top are always happy to see the little guys tear each other apart. None of our politicians have ever voluntarily Given up a pay cut to support those who can’t work any longer or who never could. That would be the pro life thing to do. I'm working full-time single women living pay cheque to pay cheque. I live in Vancouver and I can barely afford my basic living. My whole cheque goes into rent and rest in groceries. No saving, no fun activities. I can’t go out, eat out, if you really think about it, it's really depressing that you're working full-time still you're not able to live your life. Canada is going down and will lose good people because of affordability issues.

I feel for that lady,I'm a home owner, but not for long, I lost my job due to a back injury, I went back to school for DZ and heavy equipment tickets, graduated 7 months ago and unable to find work, I spent all my savings, in 3 years. I saved $75,000 over my 40 years, just to lose it all to the economy we live in today. I eat once every other day. I will be homeless by winter. And I see all the immigrants wearing Gucci, driving nice cars, living the life Canadians deserve. I'm ready to burn this government to the ground.
