I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! There is still good people out there and some are stupid people out there. Keep it up because being kind gets you to be positive to others and make things better when the world is fcked right now.

You know, I am an immigrant myself but I have always have had a beef how other immigrants act all entitled. Immigrating is like going to live in another people's house, you have to respect the rules of that house. I hate people trying to change the rules to their convenience. I know a lot of immigrants just living off the system, I work 2 jobs and the day I was laid off I refused to collect EI out of self respect, why because I knew I could find another job. But many is like they are looking forward to get laid off or fired to collect government benefits. I am a new permanent resident in Canada. This video is very true regarding our integration. You are absolutely right. Newcomers must integrate, as it is the beginning of a new life in a new environment. What I do not fully agree with is when you complain about the social benefits given by the government to newcomers. It is not free money; we will pay it back later in taxes. We cannot build life projects depending on these benefits. Ask each newcomer if they are satisfied with these benefits rather than a good job. We want to contribute to the economy of this beautiful country. For example, I came to Canada with specific goals, including starting an IT company, which was difficult to achieve at home due to lack of opportunities. So, don't blame immigrants too much; in my opinion, responsibilities should be shared among all of us, including the government.

Remove the child tax benefit. Family’s with 6 kids receive almost $60k a year completely tax free. I can’t even believe this is where our hard earned money is going.

Some politicians needed new votes to stay in power, so they opened wide the doors, inviting them and giving them benefits (paid for by taxpayers) without giving a dam that Canada was already in a housing crisis, Canada HAS to turn the "NO VACANCY" light on and send a bunch back. And before any governments send $$$ care packages to another country, Canadians should be asked if yes or no and about how much, NOT the governments. They are there to work FOR us not us for them!

I have only one question.. why is the government allowing them into the country ? What is the reason and who is it benefiting??? As I commented before , my parents came to Canada in 1966 I was just a baby , Canada had endless jobs in manufacturing, and especially in the construction sector , I will say that immigrants back then , Italians , and Portuguese really built this country , the men and women worked sometimes two jobs , no hand out from the government , no sick days , Canada was beautiful growing up , .. that’s how I remember it , other immigrants followed , from Poland , and then the Indians started to come in by the 80”s .. fast forward to now , I’m embarrassed of our country , it’s disgraceful and disgusting, the transition from back then to now , I feel like I’m living in India , dirty , scammers , gangs , thief’s , murders , ignorant , entitlement; disrespectful etc .. facts , one thing that I can’t wrap my head around is the language barrier , why are these people working in customer service ? The problem is the taxpayers pay for other peoples benefits plus the problem is the people voted for their own downfall, third the solutions are to not vote blindly and to start businesses so their are more jobs to fill, sell to the migrants.

wonderful channel ! There are several issues at play. Firstly, Canada belongs to the natives. Secondly. ENGLISH testing needs to be administered prior to arrival. Thirdly, every culture/religion can benefit others , this way society ideally can co-exist. The concern is the extreme bullying from new immigrants - INDIANS. My parents were refugees, came to Toronto in the 80s.... they didnt take advantage of the system even when they were eligible for benefits, worked their asses off in factories and never tried to alter Canada in any way, in return i sacrificed 8 years in my 20s to serve in the canadian forces as a thank you, and let me tell you the racism in the military was disgusting, it was happening before and itll get worse....

I am so happy people are starting to speak up. Sadly, I am changing. I am becoming angry. Angry at immigrants and the system. Am I becoming racist? Or just so lost at how things seem so wrong. My main upset is for my teen son. Turned 16 after Christmas. So excited about looking for a part-time job, earning some money, getting experiences and (unbeknownst to him ) expanding his social circle. This excitement came from me. LIke all us Canadians who remember our first part-time jobs (mine was at a McDonalds), I regaled my son in stories of that first part-time job. How much I learned from it, and the so many benefits it would have for me as I got older. He listened, and couldn't wait to turn 16. Also, like most parents, I raised him on the benefits of working hard in school, getting good grades, learning, getting involved, etc. Do these things son, and you will have a good future. He listened. Honours student all his life. Played on school teams. Performed in talent shows, Volunteered his time, etc., etc. Not a bad resume for a first time teen seeking a job. It is now heading into September. He has applied at all the traditional teen job hotspots, (all the fast food joints, grocery stores, drug stores, etc). Dozens of resumes, online and in-person applications. Not a single response. Then I walk into the local Burger King. Not a single Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, or Far Eastern employee. All East Indian (or Pakistani). Suddenly I am really noticing this trend everywhere, especially in the franchise fast food industry; especially upsetting when I even see it in a Harvey's (even more Canadian than Timmies). It's either East Indians or Arabs. I don't know for how long I have been hearing about diversity and fair hiring practices (which I have always supported); but to see this trend makes me furious. Are the owners of these franchise exempt from fair hiring practices? Are they not taught we are a diverse country? This is wrong. I want to finish with two sad situations which we should all be concerned about. When my eldest was looking for part-time work after the pandemic, he walked into a Mr. Submarine. He asked if he could leave his resume or fill out an application. The Arab cashier told him in broken English they were not hiring. As he was walking out, a young Arab man walked in. He approached the same cashier and asked for an application. She gave him one. WTF. My last comment, is the most concerning of all. My 16 year old, who works so hard at school, and at everything he does, recently commented, after yet another non-reply after handing out a slew of resumes, "Dad... what's the use of working so hard if I can't even get a job at McDonalds." I wonder how many other Canadian teens are feeling the same way. Not just white teens. Black, Hispanic, Indigenous and East Asian teens. Seems the broken English East Indian and Arab teens and young adults aren't asking themselves that. How long until my son thinks I am just spewing BS about this hard work thing? This is not about racism. This is about fair hiring practices, especially in more and more franchises; however, I do find myself listening to more and more of these videos, and find myself developing sucb negative feelings towards these two cultures. This is not Canadian. To be thinking this way, especially, is not Canadian. What do we do? Speak up, and we are racist. Stay quiet, and our teen kids move into adulthood without job experience, money put away, or just having a life experience that any of us over 30 (no matter our race) experienced. Something has to change; but I haven't a clue how to do that.

People come here never work in their life getting $1500 a month for pension,I came work my ass off 4 head injuries from resident in seniors home who should be in mental faculties, Injury to my back I am in plains two tear shoulders, and foot pains in my 60S came to Canada in my 50S young people come here in their 20S Never work getting everything in Canada. In the early 60's my wife and her family immigrated to Canada. The benefit they got were the opportunity to live and work here. Their story was the same as my (four) Grandparents. Come, work and don't commit crimes lest you be deported. They all got the same benefits ... the opportunity to live and work here. Too bad that;'s COMPLETELY changed.

My Granparents, parents, settled the homestead in 1896 near Rossland BC. How it used to work, how things are supposed to work, is the Government serves the needs and demands of the people. The people don't serve the Government nor any Corporation or Public/Private Partnership. This means that the Government doesn't prevent people from doing what they do and they don't use force to extort the fruit of everyone's labor to the point of enslavement. In 1896 and throughout my Grandfather's life from 1902 to 1976, one would do for themselves if they weren't working for someone else. In other words, you found something needed be done, something the community around you required or was lacking, you opened shop and got after it. You can't work today because you require licensing for everything, you require permission for everything, everything is regulated. People have it in their minds that it's so much better today then it was then, that it's "safer". But it's not, that's a lie. My family, although never wealthy, ate good food, always had a roof over their heads, plenty of family around and always had something to do or at least could always find something to work at. Most importantly, they always had hope because they had freedom. No one has any hope anymore and the people coming here aren't just bringing their culture to overtake our culture, they are coming with anger. With envy, resentment and malice. My family didn't come here with those things, they came to Canada with hope and determination to integrate and prosper with freedom. The other side of my family fled Bolshevism when they left Russia and came here and that side had the exact same hope in freedom to work hard and prosper. Now all generational wealth, freedom, prosperity and hope is all but completely stolen. We don't need more regulations. We don't need more benefits. We don't need more Government. We need less, we need it all to go away because I know for a fact, you give people the freedom to go about their lives, the society or community they form, always tends towards peaceful, prosperous organization. You give people the freedom to build and produce and they'll get after it immediately and that opens the door for all other manner of trades and skills that just fill any hole in a community or society. And that's a fact about the organizational tendencies of human beings. There's nothing stopping us from providing for ourselves but a cartel Government in the business of extortion and human enslavement. They foment chaos and division in order to justify the revoking of more freedoms to enslave more people. People themselves, they look to get along, get to work, raise families and, as best they can, enjoy life. Once we start expecting a Government to take care of us we've institutionalized prisoners who have lost all human dignity. When you "buy in" to all the rhetoric of so called autonomy, ask yourself, how autonomous are you without a family? Just because you're alone in a box in a city, stacked one on top of the other, weighted down by a landslide of rules, collecting benefits from the Government, doesn't make you autonomous. People say, "no one can afford a family". Yet those coming in have large families and they seem to be making out just fine. It's the brainwashing of our culture that set us up. Over time we've convinced the proper way to do things is everyone to grow up and go their own way, leaving each other relying on benefits from the government in old age or illness or whatever calamity might strike in life. There's always something that comes along. With family you have human resource, a plethora of skills and you have your "insurance", free of extortion. Everything that comes from a government is conditional and sooner or later their conditions rule over our condition, even though it's our labor that provides for them. The answer isn't more benefits, as I've said. The answer is simply less government, so we can all get to the business of providing for ourselves and helping our communities prosper. We need to do this with family because alone, we are all isolated and powerless. No one stands alone and a house divided cannot stand.

Hi from Indiana. I’m not familiar with life in Canada and I’m shocked to watch what is going on right now in your video. Maybe it’s not too late if your government can figure out to modify some of the immigration laws that will give back the power, the benefit, and advantage to a natural born Canadian. 800 thousand foreigners coming in in the last three months? What’s with that? That’s so shocking. Looks like a legalized invasion/occupation. I’m like you, I was a legal immigrant from Asia in the late 70s retired now and love my great state of Indiana. My family has been here for almost 50 years fully acculturated to the values and culture of American life with my husband and two grown boys. This is my adopted beloved country now. I am everything that it is about. I still know how to speak my birth language only when I go home for vacation. I don’t use it even to speak to a fellow Asian when I see that an English speaking native born American is within ear’s reach. That young lady might be dead with brain tumor before she gets her MRI. That’s unacceptable. Here you go to the ER and if you need an MRI you get admitted and most like have it the next day. Or Y

Heard from my nephews who are studying in Canada. They see more foreigners than Canada. Do expect such foreigners movement. A lot countries have the same issue. It is happening to my country (Singapore) now. And it is frustrating that these foreigners do not bother to integrate into our culture. Sickening. They are here for their own benefits.

I'm disappointed that the person who made this video did not see fit to provide real context to all this anti-immigrant sentiment. Inflating the problem is dangerous. The economic hurt is real, but throwing into the mix completely misleading figures about how fast the population is growing only serves to weaponize the pain being felt from the economy, against immigrants. We can't have a lucid conversation about the problem and the solutions, if the medium is this non-existent standard for fact-checking. Channel owner, please do better.

Our laws about accepting refugees and asylum seekers need to get better. These new comers are changing Canadas as I write this. Our Canadian ways are being disregarded and disrespected. And allowing this new comers to dictate how they can live here. It’s not like what it was where we need to be qualified to live and immigrate to Canada. Now these new comers are trashing our parks, scamming good samaritans, scheming to get support from our government, and lastly, changing the demographics in Canada. Our laws need a better champion so the majority of good law abiding, good hearted, true Canadian citizens a better Canada. A Canada that allows good lawful immigrants to create a good future for their families. Adapting to our Canadian ways like , qualifying for work base on knowledge, skill, adaptability, acceptance, tolerance, and the heart to show love not on the base of the color of your skin, religion, nationality, gender, or creed. Canada is so much more and shouldn’t be changed by new comers that want to push their ways, beliefs, religion and agenda for their own benefit. No Canadian should be pushed to accept these new comers ways into our future.

As an Indian I'd say it's cheap to move to another country for economic benefits... it's like extracting wealth from another country and their people. If one really likes some country then they should already have enough money to live and support themselves.

Crime, expensive houses, rent n groceries. It makes the rich richer like the corporate companies that can employ cheap labour with little or no benefits. Don’t come to Canada unless you are highly skilled. For ordinary Joe, you have to work 2-3 jobs to afford living here.
