I don't understand why India has to be so reliant on foreign countries. Especially with so many young and talented kids joining the workforce. Indians are smart people, and are bright and talented, and should focus on making work/life conditions better in their own country and focus on the growth of their own country. It's not like we lack intelligence, or culture, or values. I don't like this constant feeling of rejection if visa gets denied to move to a foreign country. Oh we can quadruple our income in a foreign country and send money home. Make changes in India to facilitate that, and not have to feel reliant on a foreign country to make that happen. It's time to make other countries want to come to India for a better future..

Thanks to trump now Canada has to stop the naivety. Indians are have to be the most invasive type of humans on the planet. No civic sense of where they move to, they just invade and bring their culture as if the host country has to adjust to them, smh

If white people are so evil and racist, why do you insist on coming to live in our homes?\nindian immigration has destroyed this country, it will never be fixed. These ‘people’ behave like utter animals, destroying nature, poisoning the water, using beaches as bathrooms. They are extremely nepotistic and will only hire other indians and family, it’s next to impossible for young native born Canadians to get even basic level entry jobs if the person hiring is indian. \nindians have abused the goodwill of our citizens and our social assistance programs. For the first time in nearly a hundred years our local food banks had to shutter and turn people away because INDIANS were using it as a free grocery store when they had FULL TIME JOBS and brand new bmws, then they post videos on social media saying ‘how to get free food in canada’, while some poor emaciated bastard gets turned away. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

India's economy has stalled. India also has the rare distinction of being a potential economic powerhouse that won't deliver for its citizens, so its citizens want to upend their lives and move abroad . . . by any means necessary, especially visa fraud - by pretending to be students and working full-time (in violation of student visa requirements), by engaging in sham marriage for sole (and unlawful) immigration benefit, just to name a few outrageous things Indians do. I'm a foreign national of Indian origin, and I support these rejections. Every sovereign country makes it owns decisions as to who is and isn't allowed to enter their country; India is no exception, given its history of refusing visas (many a times, for political reasons). Aap karo to sahi, aap par aayi to mirchi lagi? Oh, and companies abroad get Indian IT talent not because it is good, but because it is cheap (and eventually delivers projects) - big difference. If Indian IT was so dang awesome, you'd think they'd be visionaries in the field, but nope, by and large, Indians consume; they do not invent, but rather implement existing technologies, and have little to offer to the world in terms of scientific and technological breakthroughs at present - with some exceptions.

Indians ? moving to other countries must learn lessons n make their own country great ?

I am a UK citizen. I find it strange that Indian nationals claim to be 'proud' of their country, yet they all want to move elsewhere (UK, US, Canada, Australia etc). If their country is so great, then why do they want to keep going to other countries? And then there's the bureaucracy for those who want to visit destinations such as India. If India wants to impose endless paperwork and procedures to other countries, then it should expect the same. India was the one that started the childish tit-for-tat behaviour when the UK and Canada were restricting visa applications during the pandemic, so therefore India banned e-visa applications from Canadians and UK citizens. If India wants to behave like this, then why can't other nations? The UK is full of Indians who come here and don't want to integrate to our way of life etc, hence it's better for everyone if they just stayed in India.

There are one Indian couple moved in my upstairs apartment two weeks ago.since then I just couldn’t sleep at night cus they are making so much noises for hours constantly every night . Burkina Faso may not exactly be the poster child of stability as you said. But unfortunately for INDIA, it has become the poster child of SCAM and DECEIT - through the behaviour of those who moved abroad. India's over population is the biggest concern to the whole world. India should simply merge with Australia, USA, UK, Canada and NEW zealand. So many indians are dying to migrate to these counties. So many indians do not want to live in india due to lack of quality of life, corruption, pollution and over population. If india merges with these countries they can move half of the indian population to these countries and the quality of life in India will improve.

India is behind Burkina Faso and Kosovo because the Indian government itself does not want its citizen to have too much freedom abroad under their responsibility. The government just wants citizen to move enough to send some money back home but not more. Same is true for Pakistan Nepal Bangladesh and Sri lanka

Plain and simple, Indians brainwashed about holding citizenships abroad whereas the reality of those of us who are with foreign visas, realize it is just hype. We Indians are succors. Best advice is never ever believe touts, media or friends that it is greener in the West. Go on a short work contract not take a loan or sell up and leave. One of the family memvers may end up with a part time or casual or a fixed contract job. These Western countries are unlike job visas to the Gulf so be very careful before making a move in hope of a better life.

Indian Economy is still a generation away to develop i guess is 25=30 years, till then people try to move to countries where they can earn more money.

People talking a lot of negative things in the comment section about Indians being this or Indians being that ?. I think the Indian Govt is ensuring that the passport stays weak. Otherwise, what's stopping the govt from flexing its economic power. The reason is, when its complicated to get a visa to travel abroad, it dissuades Indians from going abroad for tourist purpose and those people travel withing India and that money gets spent in India and boosts Indian economy, and when its complicated to move abroad for work or study, it helps reduce brain drain (but that also needs quality higher education and good employment opportunities to work in the country's favor; not going into whether that's the case or not).

If I wanted to live amongst Indians I would move to india. They don't belong in Canada and are a blight on Canada.

Thank you for bringing this to the forefront. Also, I think what is equally if not more damaging is that our experience of Indians is that they cheat. Whether a driving school, moving company or other business, they are well known to bypass regulations and swindle Canadians. Demanding overcharges at the time of delivery etc. If there is a scam running, they are involved. In about 2004 almost every Indian real estate agent in Alberta had their license pulled because they were proven to be involved in mortgage fraud on a massive scale. Not to mention we can no longer enjoy peace and quiet in our own homes without having some Indian calling us from India, trying to plant viruses on our computer, steal our life savings, or otherwise do as much damage to Canadians as they can. If there is a way to cheat the government or cheat on immigration, they will have their hand in it. I will not even talk to an Indian on the phone anymore - period! As a general rule, Canadians have learned that they can't be trusted.

Diversity of newcomers made this country good, but now it is just concentrated. Toronto Union station was filled with Indians crossing the track like this is New Delhi..., like they brought their chaos straight into another country. Actually it is soo true. I have considered german for my education because it is less expensive than USA but I don’t see my full life in Germany because of language barriers and not promoting other nationals in higher positions. Go to USA you will find half of the top CEO or engineers Indians but come back to Germany and you won’t find many, this is because Germans don’t usually promote other nationals in managing positions higher than them. This is not welcoming so folks it is better if you come for your education, gain some work experience, explore europe as much as you can then move to USA and build your own home and raise kids, again push them to come to germany for free education of bachelors and masters ?

Can you break down the west coast cause holy moly, i feel like i live in india not Canada!!! My apt building is filling up with immigrants, all the whites are moving out as the landlord is letting our building turn into a slum, whenever i call, he is in India, he has not fixed a damn thing and as white people move out, he does not clean the apt between people, he let's them move in with other people's garbage, he did that to me and when i complained he asked for the keys back, he is also doubling the rent of the new immigrants. Why is it true Canadians are becoming homeless...i don't see any Indians living on the street at all!! I live in Canada and, as an immigrant, I study alongside many Indians. One of the biggest challenges I’ve observed is the difficulty some people have in adapting to Canadian culture. Indians, like many other groups, have a very strong and vibrant cultural identity, which is absolutely valid and important. However, when you choose to live in a country that is not your own, there is a certain responsibility to adapt to the new culture. After all, you made the decision to move to a different country, and part of that decision involves immersing yourself in the local culture.

They don't assimilate.... they infest and destroy. They have nothing to do with the creation of thos country. They are great at hiding in the shadows while everyone else fights & dies to build a democratic system. The true problem is the greed of colleges - bringing the wrong kind of international students. Remember - the same India supplies the brightest brains to the USA. Like myself - thousands of high skill STEM field Indians are finding Canada to be the North American ghetto. We had high paying jobs and comfortable life in India - we moved for better value of our taxes and overall high quality of life but we are finding ourselves surrounded by same chaos and much worse healthcare. Many like me pay 100s of thousands in taxes every year in Canada and yet find ourselves on flights to India to seek quick healthcare. Pls bring in healthcare workers and students - not the high schoolers seeking to live on Tim Horton and uber jobs for life.
