The sane Americans stand with Canada. Proud of our Canadian friends who are standing up to the bully who occupies the people's house. Canada, the new leader of the free world!

Canadian here- I hate Trudeau just as much as most Canadians, and as it seems most Republican Americans do as well. But I fully stand behind him at this hour. He might have shit the bed for most Canadians during his time as PM, but when it mattered he has stood up for Canada. Review the facts and educate yourself on the current situation between CAN and the US. I will be the first to admit, Canada has not done enough in terms of its own security and military, but these failures should not be the decay in our friendship as nations. The US DOES NOT subsidize Canada, it DOES NOT give money to Canada. In simple terms- the larger country, with the largest economy in the world (USA) buys more from its Northern brother, which produces vast amounts of natural resources which the larger southern country requires. As for the booing seen at most recent sports events in Canada, that is directed at the President, not the average American. I myself would never boo a national anthem, an anthem that millions have sacrificed to protect and defend. But I understand the pain and anger that is coming from my country. We have always been allies, friends, and to most even family. I do hope that in the future our relationship can heal and move forward but the current actions being taken by the American admistration are horrendus and upsetting to most of the world outside of the US. I wish us all the best in the future, be nice to one another, and always remember that the US and Canada have fought, spilled blood, and died alongside one another in the fight for democracy and freedom around the world.

Old stock Canadian here, the majority of us never asked for or voted for the taritors in our government that brought this mess to both our Countries! Those booing at the hockey games are not the majority of us! If any of our American brothers and sisters are unaware? They should look into how corrupt and treasonous our government actually is! Im a Canadian and only % of drugs or people go across our boarders so what Trump is saying is again not true. Americans kill Americans .... Canadians do not kill Americans. WE will not bow down to a bully. Trump cant manage his own drug problems so he has to blame others. Canadian will work hard and not buy American goods. Proud to be a Canadian and proud of Justin Trudeau for standing up to a bully. No question it is going to be a bumpy road but I would rather be a Canadian then an American knowing Trump is in charge and doesn't care what he does to his people because he will have a job, a roof over his head, groceries on his table and gas in his motorcade. It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. Landlords are taking advantage of supply and demand and over charge people. People I guess are saying F you! Were in a housing crisis and there are human rights laws . Peoples fundalmental rights under the code are being violated. I would say class action law suit against Canadian government. They increased immigration from 1x to 4x in a short period of time in a neglience way. I think Canadians are wimps compared to Americans...you know in the US everyone sues. Very different in that way. Here people just suck it up. Too polite and passive. Side note Look at line ups for fast food. Horrible service . No cashiers . As a Canadian who is living in an area facing rising crime and poverty, and not too far from the border, I stand with Americans who are tired of this nonsense, and the delusional tyrants who are deliberately destroying our society. God be with you all.

I am not A Canadian I’m an American, but I interact with lots of Canadians as they find themselves coming down here for one reason to the other and I’m not near the border either. I’m quite far into the US in a major US city.\n\nThere are two types of Canadians that distinct themselves. The first group is the ones that are themselves immigrants that are naturalized. I make this distinction because many cases they have not assimilated. They still have their own culture from another country and is pointed out by the narrator people from south Asia and Asia strongly have their culture And language \n\n( Canada is good for allowing people to live in communities to cut themselves off from the main screen. You have people who speak the Ukrainian language Going Back 4 generations)\n\nThen I’m gonna have to use a euphemism that might make peoples hair stand on the back of their neck. I’m gonna call them. The white Canadians has a euphemism. These are people who are going so far back from the British Isles for the most part and the French also speak another language who have no connection to Europe. The English-speaking Canadians who are you from white could walk down or come down to the US and fit right in in a matter of weeks if they’re not already assimilated into the US Culture ( I hope I don’t see any fireworks start coming from this comment) Many of these white Canadians are now more economically disadvantage than the newer Asian and south Asian immigrants and find themselves often times competing for resources with these newer immigrants. Many immigrants more effectively when it comes to investment funds and banking as they formed their own little cocoon communities that don’t interact with the white Canadians.\n\nUnderstandably the white Canadians feel like they’re shut out, unappreciated by the government and now disadvantage and if they raise any protest, they’re called racist and white supremacist. \n\nJust so you know, I am not a white American, but I have an immigrant father from East Asia and I have relatives of my fathers who are also from the same Asian country who immigrated the Canada that I’m in contact with\n\nCulturally when I run into white Canadians, what I noticed is that their diction and speech is so clean clear and polished. It’s almost like they went to a finishing school or a low level class in diplomacy and public speaking many of these people come off like human resource people in the US because their culture is one of accommodation and consideration for other people they know how to be mindful of other people and these are great qualities\n\nYes, the Canadian government is messing up right now and they’re gonna wind up, ruining the social cohesion of their country if they have any and also wasting their human capital

The balls on these people. They need to leave the country when they are supposed to legally do so. Canada and actual Canadians should take a stand on this and don’t back down. I do not drink coffee or eat fast food. So I have no need for these people. Get your education and get out. I am an immigrant that came to Canada legally. No one bent the rules for me nor for people whom I have met here that are also immigrants all legally from several different nations in Europe as well as Caribbean and South American. All actually hold decent paying jobs nurses, engineers business owners ect. They work hard to make a life for themselves and their families to become successful Canadians. Send all these students back when their time is up. If not it’s only going to cost Canadians and immigrants that contribute and wish to be Law abiding Canadians that do more than serve food and coffee.

You're free to judge but I have not seen any Indian/ Asian/ Latino immigrant homeless. Indians bring high skill in IT, banking and medicine which Canada desperately needs. Latino/ European ethnic immigrants also work very hard (construction/ farms etc.) and support their families and children. These basic skills keeps Canada running. Immigrant children are the highest number of graduate degree holders. Students line up in hundreds because they are willing to work and make a mark. They stand in freezing weather for hours just to try their luck. That's dedication. The only homeless I have seen are Canadians/ Native Americans even when the govt. pays millions in welfare and development programs to get their life back on track. Also, all these immigrants pay thousands of dollars to come to Canada (Visa fees, plane tickets, moving expenses) so that they can pay taxes to Canadians. Why are you crying all the time just they are not into cold pasta?

I find it funny and sad that the politicians fighting for universal Healthcare in the U.S. are labeled far left, communists and socialists. I watch American media talk about universal Healthcare like its some weird imaginary concept. \n\nWe got politicians here undermining our universal Healthcare. They drain as much funding as possible, leaving our hospitals struggling to keep up, then they sit back and let the media push the narrative that our system is failing and we need to privatize. It's depressing because some Canadians are falling for it and it's a real possibility that we might not have it if our citizens don't stand up for it.

Absolutely not…never. When I travelled there to check on my husband’s rental properties (yes, he is a Canadian who owns properties in the U.S.) I was always surprised at our employees, tenants, who treated us as second class citizens, as “CrazyCanucks”, and mostly, incredulous that we could actually legally own American companies….and yes, we paid all taxes due. \nThe U.S. is a beautiful country but, unfortunately, all too often, there is a superiority attitude that permeates every exchange…a we (Americans), vs them (Canadians) approach. As with many other Canadians we knew who had businesses in the U.S., our experience as Canadians doing business in the U.S., was also theirs. \nI will end by acknowledging that I know many beautiful & amazing Americans that I have come to love and immensely respect. I also have Canadian relatives who live in the U.S. and have dual citizenship. I respect them, therefore respect their decision to make the U.S. their home. \nLast but not least, the U.S. rarely acknowledge us, Canadians, as their neighbour, their political ally and they always mention other countries as allies but very rarely acknowledge Canada as an important one. \nI LOVE Canada and all that it stands for. ❤️??❤️ I will always stay in Canada.

I dont have a problem with the average American but life in Canada is everything you could ask for. Health care of course but here you can truly do what you want and live your dream if you work for it. Every single person here stands a chance to do amazing things if they have the drive and motivation. We take care of each other here and there are always lots of jobs. \n99% of Canadians would never move to the States unless it was ridiculous to turn down a huge opportunity. But your average person, never. We have it way better here. I have spent a fair bit of time in America. While I have enjoyed it and met some great people there is no comparison when it comes to overall quality of life in every regard.

You're proud of your country. \n\nAs a Canadian, I always felt the difference in basic attitudes between our countries may stem from our history of gaining national independence.\n\nYou all fought tooth and nail and are still immensely proud of that accomplishment. \n\nWe negotiated over time. It stands to reason our society would develop into one more invested in peace and negotiation, and even a deeper sense of social responsibility to our fellow citizens' welfare.\n\nI know of many different reasons why I love your country, enjoy visiting, and am glad we are neighbours. But to live in the US would take a change in my deeply ingrained sense of identity that I'm not willing to give up. \n\nI think you'll find even the Americans who joke about moving to Canada woukd find it similarly difficult to change their feelings. \n\nThank you for your interesting and respectful content. All of these points are subjective. I think the point system you used and the subjects you talked about are biased. I would have given the USA a point for innovation and job opportunity. There is more opportunities, because more companies choose the USA. We have a higher population so even thought there is more job opportunities in the USA, it is also very competitive. Your video gave a point to Canada for vacation and maternity leave rather than innovation and job opportunities. A lawyer in the USA has a better chance of practicing law than a Canadian lawyer. You gave a point to Canada for healthcare because of life expectancy. However I’d still give a point to the USA for healthcare. The life expectancy is a separate subject. The life expectancy is lower in the USA because of what we eat here. I would give a point to Canada for healthier food. In the USA fatty diet with sugary sweets is common here.\n\nThe video was really pros and cons for liberals. As an American, I could make a list that is biased towards the USA. It was a very informative video, I just think the irony of you talking about political bias while making a biased video was comical. I definitely don’t want to move to Canada after this?. If you are liberal in the USA and can handle the cold then Canada is sounds amazing. If you’re a liberal, but can’t handle the cold, the west coast of the U.S. might be a better option than Canada. \n\nI think all of those pros for Canada is because they are in Canada. It’s great that those things work for Canadians and so many immigrants into Canada!\n\nAlso, Canada can have 1000 points for personal hygiene. I can’t stand people not taking their shoes off in my house even though I have a sign on my door that says, “please take off your shoes”. I have OCD so I am biased on that subject ?.

Canadian here, and this video is right on the money for some of the most frustrating things about Canada! \n\nOur proudest achievement is our healthcare system, but up until recently, the government has been choking it little by little. Making it so difficult for any Doctor/Nurse to even consider finding work here (and making it impossible to afford getting a medical degree) because you are literally doing it for the love of the game at this point. \n\nEven if you become a specialist in a specific field (which pays really well compared to most careers here) it is unlikely any hospital will hire you. In Ontario, we succeeded in getting a $14 hour minimum wage (only in Ontario and maybe one other province). Which sounded amazing until you realize that's $14 without tax... To compare, I was incredibly lucky in Toronto where I found a place for 750 a month and was earning $16 an hour. Sounded like more than enough for the cost of living, but after taxes I was pretty much putting more than half my monthly income in rent. On top of that I had to pay for student loans and other bills. \n\nBottom line, if you are wanting to move to Canada for our beautifully scenic environments, free healthcare, and a stable job? \n\nMove to Finland.

America is more racist but immigrants can and are accepted as Americans and can access the life of anyone in society. And while initially it’s a big step up, it’s frustrating that you or your children are never given the opportunity to progress.\n\nI can tell you from experience that going from a high social strata of society in your home country to going to an underclass is very jarring.
