As a Canadian all I can say is that it is time to find better partners then a quixotic USA. Here is a great option for Canada and Mexico: we have 2 months to negotiate with China and set up back-end rebates to incentivize Canadian companies to export places other than the USA. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. My great grandfather moved to Toronto in 1890. He was a stone carver and did the stone work on the old bank buildings downtown. My grandfather was a clerk for the railway. My Dad was born in 1933 and grew up at Pape and Danforth. At the time, it was the edge of the city. As a kid, my Dad walked a few blocks to the local farms, bought produce, and sold it to his neighbors. I was born in Toronto in 1970 and lived there until 1998. I live in BC now. My Dad is gone; my Mom is in a home in North Bay. I will always consider Toronto my home, but like they say, you can't go back again. I feel entirely out of place when I visit TO now. It's not the place I knew.

I am an EU citizen, moved initially from Romania to Czech republic, where I was for 2 years and then last year I decided to give Germany a try. Given that the SW engineering field that I am part of allows me to live comfortably in most EU countries, I am planning to relocate back to CZ or Romania within max 2 years. I was pretty much shocked to find out that compared to the costs, the salary isn't all that great vs living in a bigger Romanian city and that it's a complete downgrade vs Czech Republic, and I'm saying this as someone who lived in Prague of all places. \nOverall, salary aside, everything has been a downgrade for me vs Romania and significantly worse vs Czech Republic. \nI guess nationalist germans will be happy to hear this, one less immigrant willing to stay here and convincing others at the same skill tier to try any other EU country(minus bulgaria and austria).

Sorry to hear you’re leaving Canada….I haven’t been watching your vids lately but will catch up. As someone born and raised in Toronto, I love being in Canada. I’m proud to be Canadian. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we have been going so downhill ever since Trudeau and his gang of idiots came in AND the pandemic. It’s not really easy to maintain your finances here anymore, so many people are struggling in this country. You can’t really afford anything today, it’s so sad. I’m unhappy with what has been happening to our country and the state we’re in. As you said, problems have arisen and continue to plague this country, from crime, cost of living, homeless crisis and quality of life.\n\nIf other of my fellow Canadians are leaving this “great” country, that’s their choice. But I am staying here and going to deal with its problems. I love this country with all my heart, and I don’t think I would move anywhere to a different country. Yes anyone that moves out of here is your choice but….there’s no other great country in the world than here. I’m staying here and I think that’s a good thing. I'll tell you about prices in Canada. (please fact check me fellow Canadians, I wrote this in a rage. Also, most of this is from Ontario cause I live there) The monopolies here are insane. Highways that were built using tax payer money were sold to companies and now Canadians need to pay to us it. Most grocery stores are owned by a few major companies and I see butter prices rising every few months. A 1L carton of cream at my local store is $8! I won't talk too much about housing cause it's obviously sh**. I will say a couple of years ago the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford (my greatest enemy), was releasing the protection of the green belt, a protect part of Ontario used for agriculture. He said he would use it to build new homes, great right? NOPE. First of all, the green belt is used for food to reduce prices for Canadians cause its local. He has stated he would move it to another location but that land there is less fertile. The worst thing is, the reason he is saying he would use the green belt to build houses is because the land there is very valuable. And guess who owns that land? His BUDDIES! That means he would sell that land to developers and his buddies would get all the profit cause the money developers use to buy the land will directly be put on the buyer. Not to mention, Doug Ford, the same person, since his instatement as premier, has cut the Ontario education budget by 50%. 50%!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. Can't even afford air conditioning in schools where the weather is so extreme. Rogers? The largest internet provider in Canada? Absolutely cr*p. So many complaints about bad connection and cutoffs which I also experienced when my mom bought one of their products and my internet was sh** for a couple of months. The ONLY, and I mean only, good major thing Trudeau has done is legalize marijuana. Another thing I forgot to mention is that our government is made up of criminals. Doug Ford, he and his family use to partake in drug dealing. Another major complaint is the ttc which is public transportation costing so damn much! As a student, it costs me over $1000 a year to get to school using the ttc. The times aren't even that great either as even on a major road, I had to wait 25 minutes to get a bus. Thats my rant.

I have been living in Munich since 2021 and I've never experienced any unpoliteness from locals. I came here with 0 German and first year I spoke only English. I'm spending a lot of time and effort learning German. And it'd be great if the government supported learning it. But I'm not complaining, because it was my choice to move here. Nobody promised me that it'd be easy. Regarding friends, it's not so easy to find new friends as an adult even in my home country, so I'd not say that Germans are unfriendly. I can't blame Germans, they already have connections like friends and family, and many of them don't need new friends. But you can try your luck with other expats, many of them also want to find friends.

While I have worked for a company run by Indians and they were great but there are a few Indians who are total Indians who don’t care about their actions! Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. It seems like all they did was mass import people from India. They can hardly even speak English. First of all great video. As a Canadian to immigrants I have a few things to say. Most Canadians are either first generation Canadian or perhaps second generation. The major gripe I have is my parents came here, respected the culture, contributed very hard while also embracing others. Not to mention didn't break any law. Now the major issue is many immigrants (not just Indians) come here and are infesting our country with what they claim to have hated in their own country. At the end of the day the government has handled the immigration status horribly. A few bad apples do not warrant the rest. You touched on it best. Stereotypes is something all humans do. As an Indian I would say it's a great move from Canada, should have done this earlier, their own people are unemployed, most students around the world go to Canada with students visa not to study but work and earn in dollars, government should make it very clear that students can't even work part time but recently they increased the number of hours they can work which is pathetic....
