As a Canadian yes it will hurt us. But you news anchors gloss over the fact that canada is only being hit by the US, whereas the US is being hit by everyone you keep picking fights with. The US will be affected majorly by each country you lose favor with. You may be big and powerful, but you didn't get there alone.

It's time we as Americans. Stand up and fight. The status quo is no longer. Why didn't Canada or Mexico do this, before the problem? Because you didn't have to. Now you have to. Canadian here. Didn't know about the American copay for doctor visits !!! For a comparison I had something wrong last year and had to go daily to doctor appointments for over a month. I spent money on gas, 1 parking ticket (messed up one day with free on street parking), and a huge box of Tim Hortons doughnuts for the clinic staff as a thank you gift when it was all over ❤ the copay sounds horrific and explained so much. Thank you for sharing your experience in America.

So, Canada is allowing these people into their country to sneak into our country. They couldn't get to our northern border if Canada didn't accommodate them. Entry into North American countries most be much more restrictive. Does the Canadian officials really think that turning away foreigners that say they are vacationing for two weeks is going to cripple their silly economy? They are telling Canadian border officials that, then they have two weeks to find their way into the United States. Moreover, the buses leaving Canada must meet very high restrictions and more Canadian border agents must be on duty. I'm fed up with my country being a flop house for the world. With all the energy they have to come here, they should put toward their own shit hole countries to make them better.

Yeah, Canada is not a real country. By the way. It happened during 1931. When Canada got the chance to become a country, Quebec didn't want to be a part of it so therefore it was not an official country. That means the people's right Constitution didn't go through. Each province can easily leave and join America or become its own country. That's why you see province to province have tariff on each other. Then people complain when US puts 25% when Canada is ripping themselves off.\n\nAll Canadians tax money is bribing Quebec to stay attached, or else Canada will easily fall apart from any direction. I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. I was scared and didn’t feel comfortable at all. We know so much more about US geography and history and the US knows nothing about us. Complete ignorance. Well I have no plans to ever visit again. I love our people, our freedom and our culture. We are nothing like the Americans (sorry). I am staying in my beautiful country! I feel safe and happy here! We don’t want the American dream, we are living the Canadian dream!

Invest in Eastern Canada pipeline and refineries , Bring crude or finished product to Montreal and start sending to Europe. Even with higher cost to refine heavy Alberta crude, we can still bring cheaper gas to Europe given that we sell our crude at 57USD to States and USA sells to Europe at 70. In today's rate Canadian finished product (With heavy refine + high transportation cost) in USA is 73USD per barrel as compared to WTI (with lower refine cost + lower transportation cost) is 82 USD. At 2024 exports levels you saved 14.1 Billion dollars per year + all refinery jobs and reason for it is the heavy discount we gave to you on crude oil. Facts tells me you are the free loader. Yeah we are small and gonna be in bad shape But this does not ends well for you too either.

I am a Canadian in Alberta and the reality is that the Liberals have weakened the Canadian economy and our standing in the world. Their decision to cripple our oil and gas industry and our lack of ability export our products elsewhere in the world is an issue created by the policies of the Liberals. To impose a carbon tax and further weaker the average Canadian is terrible. There are some policies I don't like out of the U.S. but the reality is that it is never an idea to pick a fight with the toughest kid on the block knowing you will lose. Trump doesn't even want the tariffs he wants Canada to pull it's weight in defense spending and cooperation. Trudeau backstabbed Trump in the past and that won't be forgotten. We need a new government with a leader that understands more than being a drama teacher and snowboarder. Unfortunately, most of the significant issues Canada faces is the result of self inflicted wounds resulting from incompetent leadership. We didn't have anywhere close this level of issues with the Harper government. We are lucky to have the U.S. as a neighbor so let's do what is good for both nations but there is no way the woke Liberal's can do it.

This was nine years ago, Canada's Indigenous Peoples still do not have access to clean water . The Indian's protestors will have to wait in the queue. Similar story, grew up in Vancouver as a kid. Can't say that I got much from Canada other than a pile of student debt. With a top engineering degree from a Canadian university, no jobs, no interviews. If it set me up for a better future, I could give it some credit, but even with visas, I had *much* better luck with opportunities in the US and even in western Europe, which is similarly socialist to Canada. I have had to move from country to country thanks to the lack of decent opportunity in Canada. More liability than asset, in my experience, other than the passport. Glad I left when I did, only regret I didn't do it sooner. Good luck to wherever you go next. I hear eastern Europe is a cool place, if you bring your income with you ;-)

I’m a Canadian and I agree this liberal government even admitted they didn’t think this many immigrants would come and destroy the economy. Because we were not prepared for it.
