We have like idiots and uncultured people outside. We shout like idiots, treat the locals poorly. I once saw a person who thought the air hostess in a Bhubaneswar- Thailand flight was a prostitute and started touching her and taking pictures. I had to look elsewhere in shame and hated for being born in India among such people. \n\nSo yeah, learn from Japanese or Thai or other well cultured people to behave well, be kind, have humility before asking for travel ease.

What about India? You request a million documents and that too multiple copies for a visa for a former Indian. Stop showing this as news...look at the mirror

I remember when my country Indonesia still gave Indians visa access like everyone else. It was horrible! Our airports were swarmed with unruly and mannerless Indians. They complained to be, discriminated, when they were treated like anybody else. What worse was they called everybody Chinese and made it the reason to fight with them, even with security guards! Everyone look Chinese to them. Such bigoted people were security and stability threat for everyone. They should stay in India since India is already ruined anyway. It is about time that nations applied more stringent visa requirements. All nations have the right to carefully assess the motives of visitors to ensure they don't overstay their welcome. I suggest India look inwards to find reasons why its passport is lowly ranked rather than casting aspersions at foreign nations.

Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. Better the countries so that more countries open up for Indians, making the ranking go up. \n\nLastly, the passport index website shows India at 65, not 85. Why lie about that to fit your narrative? The passport index website is literally the first result that shows up on Google too... Not everything is about discrimination...

@3:30: Burkino Faso, Kosovo and Cuba have tiny populations. Even if their entire population migrated, the locals in the country receiving them would hardly notice any difference. Not so with India and its 1.5 billion population, many of whom want to migrate only because the neighbour's/aunt's/uncle's son also went abroad. Announce a liberal visa regime for Indians one day, and within a year, your country would start looking like Chandigarh or Ahmedabad. While most countries are ok with some diversity, no one wants to be overrun by foreigners, even if the foreigners in question are Indians who are generally law abiding and hard working. And then there are the 'smarter ' types who fake documents and produce bogus certificates to get visas and even pay human smugglers to take them abroad if their visas are rejected. It's for all these reasons why India's passport is ranked at 85. The only reason why India doesn't fall even further is because there are bigger basket cases like India's 'friendly' neighbors who are sitting tight below.\nIf India wants equitable treatment, it should first make itself the best place in the world for an Indian to live and work in. The more you rely on the others for visas, the more likely they are to refuse you.

I guess everyone know, why Indian passport is worthless, reason denying entries, getting kicked out from NA/EU and yet millions are looking every opportunities to leave India. Argue whatever you want but the fact reflects. Otherwise we wouldn't have this discussion, right?

It's not about post pandemic travel. It's about Indians lying on their applications. Let's focus on how the system is abused by indian agents who give applicants false promises. What has India done about that, and why is not the government puttIng Indians first and creating jobs in India instead of encouraging Indians to leave the country having to look for jobs elsewhere in a foreign country.

Indians looking for jobs or leaving India permanently and entering shores of other countries as illegal migrants is the main reason for visa rejection.

Other countries are full they need to look after there own people they cant afford to be flooded with migrants from other countries and lets face it india has billions of people and most trying to get out . I think india needs to sort out its own problems like every country should so no one needs to leave.

I have been living in canada my whole life and worked my ass off to get into a really prestigious university program. Everyone I knew is looking to leave Canada, and mind you these are all HIGHLY skilled stem grads. I am included in that as well, I love Canada, but I am also an Indian, nobody sees the difference between me(someone who has been raised here) and someone fresh from India with no lack for the culture. (unless they hear my accent) I don't think staying is worth it. Probably looking to head to the states.

The best decision ever for tgose countries as well as India too to curtail the brain drain if those Indian Degrees and BCom are genuine to be issue and even certified to prosper India looking at China's Human Retention and Skills development.. I am from Chennai, India, living and working in the USA. These students knew quite well that Fraud was committed in their visas. They do not come for Education; instead, they look for work in Canada, then higher wages in Canada, and better freebies from the Canadian government.

Granting visas is a sovereign right. As common as it seems in Canada to grant visas to wanted criminals, it is the effort of most other nations to grant visas only to genuine tourists or businessmen and not to troublemakers - especially those with a history. Are these not criminal acts by Indians who enter fraudulently a foreign country without a valid Visa. Yes, many people do it but not on this huge scale as done by India. What does it mean when so many Indian sources and YouTube broadcasters talk about India very high GNP and GDP, which is often used as an indicator of a country's standard of living and super economy !?\nCould it be that the Indian government covertly encourages and facilitate the migrants move for the sake of high remittance to India by immigrants.
