He said this referring to Putins latest tactic, which is to (devide and conquer.) While the US, Canada, the UK and Europe are bickering about tariffs only god knows what Putins up to in the meantime.

If you think of the past , Hitler wanted to take over Europe it ended in WAR , Putin wants to take over Ukraine with a WAR , Trump Wants to take over Canada , Gaza, Greenland, Panama Canal ? Is it possible Trump wants a war

Donald, in his whole time as a 'leader' (which he clearly isn't) never ever was able to even close hold a speach like this. And he never will be. He is just not a smart man. This decision was a big big mistake. Thanks to Mr. Trudeau for standing up against this characterless BULLY. The Canadians must be so proud of you. Every country around the world absolutely must stand their ground against Trump and the USA. After all, he’s the perfect poster child for what happens when a bully gets handed the keys to the global playground. I´m from Germany and I think Trudeau shows how to be a real leader, not a showmaster. What makes me thougtful is to see the Republicans cheering to Donalds inhumane statements. We Germans historicaly know, that this kind of right wing politics can lead to a real desaster. I don´t understand, why only such a little number of americans are standing up and demonstrate for their rights und safe their democracy. This could all end very bad.

The last time there was a war between America and Canada, America invaded Canada in 1812 in order to get the gold mines. The war ended with the re-drawing of the American-Canadian border, giving America these gold mines. The area that America gave up has oil. Canada did OK out of it in the end.
